- Lomstradamus, on 10/11/2007, -7/+37What will it take before any of these bastards go down?
- theNazz, on 10/11/2007, -5/+27GOP obstruction of justice is why these ***** are still allowed inside US Government buildings instead of prison cells.
- glasnostic, on 10/11/2007, -0/+18Nixon’s advisors floated the idea of him pardoning himself. If Bush was impeached, he would most certainly attempt pardoning himself.
- gmillerd, on 10/11/2007, -1/+19The dems dont run the justice department
- SheilaNoya, on 10/11/2007, -2/+19Democrats need to grow some balls and launch some criminal charges against Gonzales. If lying to Congress about a blowjob is a criminal offense worthy of impeachment, then surely they can get rid of Gonzo for all of the lies he has told to coverup crimes and wrongdoings by his own administration.
- greenback1, on 10/11/2007, -6/+19This group is no longer to be recognized as legitimate Government Officials. They are simply individuals criminally occupying the White House until we coordinate their removal as peacefully as possible as there has been way too much bloodshed already.
- david76, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14What's the point of always linking to The Raw Story? Just link to the source, e.g. the Washington Post which is cited in the article.

Buried as a duplicate. - sergionegro, on 10/11/2007, -5/+16Call your congressional representatives and demand impeachment. They all deserve it - but perhaps it might be easiest with Gonzales.
- theNthDoctor, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12Please do not besmirch the honorable nickname "Gonzo."
- neuralzen, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9You know that scene in the raiders of the lost ark where the nazi's melt? That. And apparently that's what everyone is standing around waiting for....maybe if I just pray harder it will get fixed.... :P
- OneHine, on 10/11/2007, -4/+13Why have these bastards not gone down before? Oh right, the GOP side is preventing congress from doing anything.
- gamlidek, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9Who will organize the revolt? We're all too busy posting to forums online for that.
- glasnostic, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8They don’t go down, they think it’s morally wrong and fight to keep activities such as “going down” illegal in their home states.
- kaelyiesta, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7It's in the interest of the democrats to keep this going until 2008 elections. So I doubt neither side is pushing too hard to actually hold anyone accountable and end all this.
- otheruser, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8ACTION:

Happy emailing! - dshPls, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Bush is smart enough to figure that out?
- Wacer, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5He may run it but he does everything Bush wants so he is corrupt and biased. The Justice department is not suppose to be politically motivated but now the government has stooped to a new low.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5People *are* capable of doing more than one thing at any given time. In the words of Robert Heinlein, "specialization is for insects"
- awesomeface, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Does anyone have a link to that FBI Report? Has that been made public?
- whiskeymb, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4That's right, AG does!
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7Well first we'll have to impeach and convict Bush and Cheney to avoid them covering for each other and Gonzo and everyone else with corrupt pardons.
- atheinostic, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Impeachment/Conviction can't be pardoned:
"The President...shall have power to Grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment." - U.S. Constitution - in2deep, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Interesting article...enjoyed the posts!!
- GeneralFault, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Enough with these pathetic red herrings. Try addressing the issue at hand, not the issue you wish was at hand. Thanks.
- insanebrain, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Is everybody keep on posting stories .. or . . are we going to do something about it ??
- mandarin, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3I like the title! Gonzo was my favorite in the Muppet show..
- mikeyeah, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5I've got a new slogan for Alberto and all the criminals in the Bush Administration...
***** the Constitution. ***** democracy. ***** checks & balances. And most important of all...***** the People! - CheckPlease, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Sneaky Gonzales lies again.
In a related event, people continue to breathe in oxygen while breathing out carbon dioxide. - biotch, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Really the people are at fault here fore electing these idiots and continuing to elect pro war, pro Bush republicans to congress during the presidential election. The only reason there is even talk of impeachment now is because the Dems have control of congress now. Had it been sooner, it might of actually come to fruition. Too little too late.
Hopefully people learned their lesson. - samzero, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2His pants are fierce? I think you meant pantalones en el fuego. dugg anyway cause it was funny. fiercely funny.
- GeneralFault, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Yes he is... but he's also dumb enough to not understand that the constitution expressly forbids this.
Article 2 Section 2:
...he shall have Power to Grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.
The founders must have seen Bush and Nixon coming. - mooatr, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1More like the "The Cooked Story"!
No? Oh well. - Veretax, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3dug down as a duplicate, come on guys find some FRESH content to bash them with if you please, not blogs rehashing the same thing :/
- monger68, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2it never got weird enough for me...
- Wacer, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Besides when a Democrat get into the oval office they want to make sure that they don't ruin the environment for themselves.
- blorc, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Is someone intentionally bumping duplicates? There's multitudes of the same posts lately.
- stepnw1f, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1They are going down, just not quick enough for most folks. Me included.
- biotch, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Agreed,,,, its really too late now though ... I think they are slowly realizing they may as well push for better agenda rather than spend time getting rid of officials that will be out in a little over a year anyways. Had Americans elected them during the presidential elections, it might of been more useful.
- ChupaCadabra, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Why are you making this into a "libs" vs "cons" argument?
This isn't a partisan issue. This guy is straight up lying to the American people, and while he can't be impeached, he can be held to a vote of no confidence, and removed from office that way.
But hey, keep on telling yourself that the constitution is a partisan issue. That sort of thinking has done wonders for America over the past few years. - Christ0s, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0dugg for the hunter thompson quote
- RockJohny, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0problem is, no matter what party you belong to, it's just two sides of the same coin....Satan controls both through the illuminati/freemasons/skull&bones etc.....how many in powerful places are members of these secret societies? that's why nothing ever changes and any really 'good' men are snuffed out if they get too powerful and rock the boat. God's Kingdom will soon destroy it all and JC will take over.....that's what you're dealing with, invisible puppet masters who invented evil.
- KibibyteBrain, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Also, the democrats would want just as much power as Bush has established the Executive Branch as having if they win the seat in 2008. So they have little incentive to be particularly agressive pursuing excutive branch "abuses". This is why it is very important that moderates from both parties and independents work especially hard to try and stop this abuse before it gets out of hand, because the opposing party is not a trustworthy source of progress.
- BESTenemy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1I do not recall him ever telling a lie. /Sarcasm
- skrowl, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3Read the Constitution libs, attny General isn't an elected office and is not impeachable. The only person who can remove him from office is the President, unless he's found guilty of a crime (He won't be in this case. Legally, having access to a document detailing X NEVER proves you had prior knowledge of X).
- bellow, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0It's time, let's run these criminals out of town, we have all the evidence we need. The reason the Democratic leaders get no respect is because they are right on the position they take, and then back down from it. That's crap, we need to hold our leaders on both sides accountable.
We have a crime family running this Govt. - theferno, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1gonzo + ginn = 7/11 always open never closed
