- matthekc, on 07/01/2009, -73/+1053Glenn Beck is a terrorist.
- DavidCEisen, on 07/01/2009, -30/+687So wait, the only way that we will be safe from a terrorist attack is if a terrorist attack occurs?
- Kalukan, on 07/01/2009, -32/+585My email to Fox News:
So I want to know this: why is it acceptable for Fox News to broadcast as a credible, sane commentary by Michael Scheuer, this statement:
"The only chance we have as a country right now is for Osama bin Laden to deploy and detonate a major weapon in the United States."
And why does host Glenn Beck, who flaps American flags all over the place, not immediately condemn this statement as treasonous?
And why does Fox News objectively support a terrorist attack on the United States?
Please understand, I don't want you to bother answering me unless it's: "Fox News apologizes for this incredible lapse of decency in its programming and will never host Michael Scheuer on any of its broadcasts again, and furthermore has released Glenn Beck from his contract and any future chance of appearing in a Fox News cast."
Because if it's not a heartfelt apology for wishing for the murder of an unknown number of my fellow Americans, and an immediate and resounding rebuke of those who openly stated that wish, I flat out don't want to hear it.
I will instead be contacting your sponsors and expressing my incredible disgust at your lack of journalistic standards and basic decency.
That will be all. - Acewrap, on 07/01/2009, -111/+647Republicans are a bunch of pants-wetting cowards.
- TheHIV, on 07/01/2009, -43/+391***** you Glenn Beck. ***** you.
- Sneakernets, on 07/01/2009, -36/+359Has Beck gone too far?
You're asking this now?
Morons like Beck should go back to the AM dial where I can ignore them more effectively.
Just to check to see if it was taken out of context, I found the entire video and watched that. And it's *still* outrageously retarded. He honestly thinks a terrorist attack will cause people to "wake up" and revolt against... what again? I didn't hear this ***** last year, wh- oooh that's right, liberals.
Glenn Beck , like many of the wingnuts, still believe that politics are a ***** war, and it's US vs THEM: they would do ANYTHING to get back in power, even if it costs American lives, for Politics is a football game to them, and the ball is US, our FUTURE, our CHILDREN'S FUTURE, and our civil liberties.
Reread that last bit. 5 times. Now tell me, Why is he still on television? - gsadamb, on 07/01/2009, -31/+324I'm sure this has nothing to do with the fact that most of the places where hardcore crazies live is in rural areas away from places that would actually ne threatened by terrorism.
Instead, places threatened are populated cities that many of these wingnuts don't consider to be "real America" but would still be very happy to use to their advantage in case they were attacked. - mithrasinvictus, on 07/01/2009, -26/+250Just imagine what might have happened if people like this were in charge of security around 9-11...
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 07/01/2009, -4/+185Likewise, the only way a young woman can protect her virginity is to participate in a gangbang.
- jayhawk88, on 07/01/2009, -3/+172Yeah, haven't you heard?
War is Peace
Freedom is Slavery
Ignorance is Strength - InsultComicDog1, on 07/01/2009, -13/+160So wingnuts think it is worth it for Americans to be attacked and killed just because they don't like the way liberals run the government? And this is not considered radically outside of the mainstream?
- Kyhftw, on 07/01/2009, -7/+150They were...
- Dreeon, on 07/01/2009, -7/+146At the very least, he's a ***** psycho.
- jrobbi, on 07/01/2009, -11/+143It's the only way republicans could get more votes, so it MUST be good for America.
/s - joaob, on 07/01/2009, -16/+124Imagine if a bleeding-heart liberal said this? Would we ever hear the end of it?
- steelersfan7roe, on 07/01/2009, -22/+127Republicans are the most scared people in the world.
- Rotzooi, on 07/01/2009, -44/+145This is true. Conservative brains have been shown to have an almost fully reptilian reaction to a changing environment and to fearful stimuli in particular, whereas liberal brains retain the capacity for analytical thought no matter what. This allows the liberals to have a variety of possible responses, while the conservative's only choice is fight or flight.
Read Douglas Oxley's (University of Nebraska) article in New Scientist. - Mosi13, on 07/01/2009, -4/+104well written sir. if you actually write their sponsors and fox hears anything about losing money, glenn beck will be out the door...all they really care about is the money they make off of inflammatory rhetoric.
- coelomate, on 07/01/2009, -22/+121As many people as possible need to see this and understand what this is. Those men are traitors - and that's not a terms I think should be used lightly in political discourse. This transcends left and right - the is right and wrong.
- mr138, on 07/01/2009, -22/+113This is ***** treason.
- blingbin, on 07/01/2009, -1/+87last i checked it was considered "terrorism"
- Snoogs, on 07/01/2009, -7/+93New Headline: "Nation Agrees Glenn Beck Has Committed Treason; Nation Seeks Death Penalty."
- BlueDjinn, on 07/01/2009, -19/+102I'm actually reminded, ironically enough, of the plot of the 2nd season of "24", in which the National Security Advisor deliberately allowed a nuclear weapon into the country in hopes of "scaring" the President into beefing up the military/security measures. Of course, in that case, at least the NSA guy didn't *mean* for the bomb to actually *go off* (oopsie!)
- ZenMojo, on 07/01/2009, -11/+87What the ***** did I just watch? That's like saying we need to get cancer so we can fund chemotherapy clinics. The POINT is that we aren't getting attacked. The only reason to even have a defense department or intelligence agencies is to prevent and respond to attacks. Is this what the right-wingers are thinking, that the medicine is the point, not the cure?
...
Explains the whole health insurance *****, I guess. - MacEnvy, on 07/01/2009, -1/+72The other guy in the video was LITERALLY the man in charge of keeping track of bin Laden during the Clinton/Bush administrations. Crazy.
- ISellSigals, on 07/01/2009, -22/+92***** Glenn Beck he's a propaganda pushing puppet.
- Scrappy1850, on 07/01/2009, -0/+65if we dont get attacked, then the terrorists have already won
- Beatmiser, on 07/01/2009, -7/+70Most 'Lefties' don't hate Beck, O'Reily and Hannity because of their views. They hate them because of the absolutely fictitious lies and unverifiable garbage vitriol they spew.
- nalguita, on 07/01/2009, -1/+63Later on in the show he said "Osama, uh I mean Obama"
Such a little douche... - ThsGuyRightHere, on 07/01/2009, -6/+64I like to think that statement doesn't apply to all Republicans, but it certainly seems to apply to Beck and the nuttier portions of his audience.
- 2Six119, on 09/10/2009, -21/+78How long until some right winger takes this to heart and blows up a building to "protect America" just like the tiller incident and the holocaust museum shooting
- richmomz, on 07/01/2009, -7/+62Just a couple weeks ago he accused 9/11 Truthers of wanting to work with Al-Quaeda to "destroy this country" and now here he is calling for another terrorist attack himself - what a treasonous clown you are Glenn Beck!
- milarepa, on 07/01/2009, -19/+74War is peace.
- Renian, on 07/01/2009, -3/+57I'm a Republican and I don't agree with Beck. But then again, I'm not a conservative and don't support the leadership of the Republican party at the moment. Most likely because my brain is still relatively functional.
- MoZeu, on 07/01/2009, -17/+71So, they admit that they are so completely wrong about everything that they only way they could possibly convince the American public to accept a descent into authoritarianism would be a major terrorist attack on American soil. In other words, they are well aware that reason and facts are not on their side; otherwise they wouldn't have to fantasize about OBL taking out an American city to save the neocons from political extinction. Sick. Just sick.
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 07/01/2009, -14/+66Beck doesn't come out and agree with his guest, but he doesn't admonish or disagree with him either. He certainly doesn't say "that's absolutely nuts and I can't believe you would even suggest that." Then again, I don't think Beck has ever used those words in that particular order.
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -5/+57I don't see any "moderate" republicans with their own TV shows and a devoted following. Until there is we will just have to assume that they do.
- organictroll, on 07/01/2009, -21/+68At least Beck and his guest are being honest about what the far right in our country want. We can't forget that their chosen religious denominations want the end of the world to come as soon as possible and whole heartedly approve of the use of torture. When dealing with people who derive their "morality" from a source like that, this is what you get in return. What is frightening is the brain-washed minions who cling to this bizarre propaganda like it was spewed from the mouth of God. We must not forget that Tim McVey didn't wear a turban.
- deadasdisco, on 07/01/2009, -2/+48probably wrangler jeans, jack daniels, and some oil company. oh, and skoal.
- Shidell, on 07/01/2009, -21/+67Glenn Beck is out of his ***** mind.
- Tddupre, on 07/01/2009, -6/+51dude u really suck at trolling
- Xplorer, on 07/01/2009, -5/+49Too bad it will go to a automated response box.... Never to be seen...
- digitalpencil, on 07/01/2009, -2/+46Dear Kalukan,
Thankyou for taking the time to express your concern over Fox's journalistic integrity. Due to the overwhelming number of emails received every time we open our hate-mongering mouths your email has been automatically scanned for keywords and filed in the [ Liberal Gibberish ] archive where it will wither and die, never to be seen by a human being or Republican ***** ever again.
Yours in God, flags, bumper-stickers and Jesus,
The Fox News Team. - jareddennis, on 07/01/2009, -13/+57I think we can safely say that Fox has gone too far now.
- twiztidsinz, on 07/01/2009, -2/+44Have you TRIED to open those packets of peanuts????
- twiztidsinz, on 07/01/2009, -9/+51YEAH! You tell 'em bobburn1!!
Anyone who doesn't agree with the way I think is a partisan hack! - BryanTravers, on 07/01/2009, -2/+40They are sponsored by bald eagles and freedom. Grizzly bears and apple pie. Pick up trucks and Jesus.
- ridusoftyranny, on 07/01/2009, -1/+39Get over the left vs right bs, pay more attention to what the issues really are at the heart of it all. If you stop looking at everything in a left/right perspective perhaps we will be able to retain the personal freedoms we have left.
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 07/01/2009, -6/+42Be careful dude. Remember, Beck and his audience of crazies surround us.
- Metsys, on 07/01/2009, -15/+49Oh hey, Glenn beck is being crazy again.
Didn't see that coming -
