Better than calling Tony, contact the Supervisor of Elections directly, and tell them how you feel about Tony's actions, maybe pass along the you-tube link also http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8wjJieSib0

yeah. america is rotten to the core. - brad3378, on 12/02/2007, -7/+169Skip ahead to 7:44 to be appalled.
- stephbangm, on 12/02/2007, -14/+136If the majority of Ron Paul supporters actually vote in the Primaries, we would most likely win. Even if only 5-8% of the public support Ron Paul like the official polls say, only about 5-10% of the population vote in the Republican Primary! That's why it's critical that we have to work hard right now. Just a few people could make or break this election!
- Devotia, on 12/02/2007, -6/+84Nothing to see here citizen. Just mind your own business and let us choose who wins the poll.
- inactive, on 12/02/2007, -9/+86"First they ignore you... then they ridicule you... then they fight you... then you win."

- stephbangm, on 12/02/2007, -10/+76This is simply deplorable! The GOP will do whatever it takes to censor a real deal candidate like Ron Paul. So let's beat them at their game by becoming delegates. As delegates, we'll be picking the GOP nominee just like the electors in the electoral college pick the President; Delegates determine and decide who the GOP nominee is---it's that critical!
Become a Delegate or Ron Paul will NOT be President

= - AARTARTHUR, on 12/02/2007, -0/+50I was there saw it with my own eyes. I ***** you not. One lady voted 80 times. Romney had maybe 35 people there. When we RP supporters left the park was empty.
- argoff, on 12/02/2007, -5/+54As I said on another post, this is very ironic because the entire purpose of voting and democracy is so that we can change our government and secure our liberties without resorting to violence. I wonder if he would consider turnaround fair play?
- seattle98104, on 12/02/2007, -11/+60I hate the RP spam as much as the next guy, but if that's how the GOP runs their straw polls, you've got one hell of a up hill battle.
Also, please edit that ***** down to the good part. - stealthc, on 12/02/2007, -1/+46I'm starting to really appreciate that 2nd Amendment...
- jaymzdean, on 12/02/2007, -6/+50What the "hate Ron Paul" group needs to keep in mind is that his supporters are Constitutionalists who are willing to defend the Constitution and our Representative Republic with our lives. Hurt a Ron Paul supporter? You might as well offer up your throat to a pit pull.
- tumbler360, on 12/02/2007, -0/+38Scary stuff, sounds like this poll is rigged, the voting machines reporting the wrong results is really disturbing.
- skinturtle, on 12/02/2007, -2/+40Giuliani looks like a mob boss to me.
- etsa, on 12/02/2007, -6/+41Another NUT is upon the White House.
Voice it up and digg. - kev92486, on 12/02/2007, -1/+34New members come to Digg all the time. Repetition only helps spread the message even more.
- diggerydood, on 12/02/2007, -6/+38This guy also used to work for Romney. http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/11/01/trent-wis ...
- dgh1973, on 12/02/2007, -2/+32I have to say I'm not really all that surprised. I did some volunteer time for a state rep election in Rhode Island about 15 years ago. The guy I did canvassing for told me that some supporters from the opposition actually threw a brick through the back windshield of his car. Jack-offs who are afraid of losing will always resort to bullying, threats, and/or physical harm to "ensure" their victory. Then they will probably win, become filthy rich, and have absolutely no consequences for their actions.
I can only hope that the Christians are right (maybe I should convert now...) and there will be a very uncomfortable place in hell for those people. Then again all they'll have to do is confess and say a few hail Mary's and all will be OK for them again right? Pfft. - AARTARTHUR, on 12/02/2007, -2/+31I was there this did happen !
- pilotss, on 12/02/2007, -3/+32That is a good statistic that I didn't think about. I would guess that the highest percentage of supporters that will actually vote belongs to RP.
- NightVortez, on 12/02/2007, -1/+30Should have recorded it, could have at least gotten him fired.
- absurdist, on 12/02/2007, -4/+33"Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit upon his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats." - H.L. Mencken
That time is now. If we are not prepared to die for our republic and our liberty, we do not deserve to live. - waynetheman, on 12/02/2007, -2/+30The correlation is interesting here.
Of all my friends and coworkers, the ones who really like Ron Paul are the ones who I find very trustworthy, and who have high levels of integrity. The ones who are a bit "iffy", who would probably cheat you (but just a little bit!) if they could get away with it, or who put just working the system over changing it, are the ones who'll acknowledge his good points but seem afraid to commit (or just fall back on "he can't win.")
Fortunately, I don't hang around with people who are corrupt, or complete sellouts, or just scummy types. Surprise, surprise... none of the people I hang around support Giuliani or Romney.
Coincidence? I think not. - Shiftgood, on 12/03/2007, -0/+28I love it when informed people like you do this stuff on digg.
thanks. - kirstpo, on 12/02/2007, -2/+30This is a sad realization of the way our government and politics work. It's not about Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, or Giuliani. The fact that some people had to pay for their votes and others did not is bogus. The fact that you can vote as many times as you want with as many tickets as you have is bogus. The fact that the poll organizers condone this and threaten harm to any sound and valid outcries is bogus.
Frankly, these things happening in the US is not ok. If these things are happening in a straw poll, then I'd dread to hear what really happens in real elections. - TypeEE, on 12/03/2007, -1/+27don't ask that as well or you'll get hurt.
- madrid, on 12/02/2007, -1/+27What I'd also like to know is how/why that story got buried.
- barnseyboy12, on 12/02/2007, -0/+24This is the Diebold world we live in (watch Hacking Democracy) bring your video cameras to the polls people!!! Let the crooks know they cant get away with killing democracy.
- annaponda, on 12/02/2007, -3/+27yep, record all phone complaints from now on!
- Burrito, on 12/02/2007, -1/+25This should be on the front page every day until the Presidential election. Digg should do the job the mainstream news won't.
- philr8, on 12/02/2007, -2/+25its not an excuse it it is true.
- Rodalli, on 12/02/2007, -3/+26Well, this story has taught me at least one thing: Straw polls are total ***** and I should pay absolutely zero attention to anyone that quotes results from such a poll.
- Zarxrax, on 12/02/2007, -1/+22This is disgusting.
- jsdratm, on 12/03/2007, -0/+20I emailed the St. Petersburg Times, Tony DiMatteo, and Deborah Clark. I encourage others to do the same.
- claytanic, on 12/03/2007, -0/+20Not just a supporter; a chairman of a county Republican executive committee. The fact that the results were allegedly weighted in favor of Romney does beg the question why the Giuliani supporter was so adamant about not raising concerns; many would assume that it's another example of Ron Paul's supporters being suppressed, but we could leave that up to an investigative body. Mostly it reveals a whole slew of questions about the organizational structures of the Republican committee and how this could be allowed to happen. The man is one individual, however, he ostensibly represents the party for an entire county. It is alarming to say the least.
- TheDHC, on 12/02/2007, -0/+18watch the video, ron paul supporters only voted once, while your boy mitt romney and his spineless supporters voted many times each
- Grego123, on 12/02/2007, -0/+18and this is for a straw poll, just goes to show how afraid they are, keep it up my brothers
- jaymzdean, on 12/02/2007, -0/+17You were NOT planning on voting for RON PAUL "till now". You are part of the "hat Ron Paul" brigade and that's obvious. Ron Paul supporters don't suffer from the flakey mentality that you have displayed with this statement.
- dizilbdog, on 12/02/2007, -0/+17So this rule is going to apply during election to right? You can vote many times for anybody else besides Ron Paul, and if you vote for Ron Paul on voting machines it will just give you Mitt Romney instead... Hmmmm you know I think if this election gets screwed up big time, we should hate to say but do the French thing, and Go to the Streets Until it is set Right... Imagine that the People of the United States saying what they want and getting it. What a concept
- philr8, on 12/02/2007, -0/+16You sound like this:
"I was gonna vote for Ron Paul until I saw BLACK PEOPLE voting for him!"
It's the same thing. I don't agree with Scientology, but as a RP supporter, you should know better. - sp0rk, on 12/02/2007, -0/+16Yes, everyone from Clearwater is a Scientologist, and they all support Ron Paul. OR maybe they held a nationally broadcasted Republican debate in the area and the story had to do with said event.
- marcusbrutus, on 12/02/2007, -0/+16Dgh,
I too worked once on a friend's campaign for state rep, the opposition, we believe, paid kids to steal our yard signs. You have to be sorry for confession to work by the way.
I think this is just indicative of how scared the neo-cons are of RP. We all know what ignorant people do when they get scared of something.... - CNY4RonPaul, on 12/03/2007, -1/+16I have been using that quote from Ghandi for some time now to explain Ron Paul. Great to see it up here!!
- keviniskool, on 12/02/2007, -1/+16No, this aggression would have gotten him promoted.
- signal15, on 12/03/2007, -0/+15What's even more disturbing about people voting multiple times is that people were complaining that they voted for other candidates, and at the verification screen it said they voted for Romney. This means the voting machines are being hacked. Are these the same machines that will be used in the primaries and the election? If so, this means that hacked software already exists for these machines and it is in use.
This country is ***** doomed. - Depthfunction, on 12/03/2007, -4/+17When are Ron Paul supporters going to learn: if you are not a wealthy corporate executive or a warmongering evangelical "Christian" then there is no place for you in the Republican party.
The Republican party doesn't care about the Constitution or about liberty, it only cares about greed, oil, and invading and looting other countries. - sjl127, on 12/02/2007, -1/+14Wow. It's going to go down. Down hard in the next few months.
- toasty168, on 12/03/2007, -0/+13there's no other explanation... the mob have their hands in corporate and political america. it's the next logical step. they did it in italy and they're doing it here.
