Giuliani Repeats Fake Myth: China Is Taking "American Oil"

During the segment, Giuliani recycled the old thoroughly debunked GOP talking point that the U.S. needs to start drilling for off-shore oil because China is doing it off the coast.   • ordig, on 07/04/2008, -1/+1What a ***** arrogant prick. The Chinese ARE buying oil from many places aroud the world and they ARE competing with the US to buy this oil. But the oil is not American. It is Sudanese, Nigerian, Venezuelan and from Chad. America is not entitled to this oil. It will go to the highest bidder that doesn't meddle in the interal affairs of the county it comes from. This buyer IS China in most cases.
