- aliengoods, on 12/11/2007, -0/+31It's good to see someone standing up for their principles.
- shakingfist, on 12/11/2007, -0/+20This looks like another sweet job opening for some ambitious young, ignorant and obedient Bushelvick.
- MadN, on 12/11/2007, -1/+14Scary that our country has been carried down this far by Republican traitors.
"The Constitution is just a piece of paper"
“If there’s a leak out of my administration, I want to know who it is, If the person has violated law, that person will be taken care of." - inactive, on 12/11/2007, -0/+8This is further evidence of the growing schism between the US Armed Forces and their creed and the unlawful orders of their civilian "superiors".
All military personnel swear an oath to uphold the Constitution and must refuse any unlawful order. They have the right and obligation to decide which order is lawful or not, on the spot.
All people are accountable for their actions. Officer Davis did his duty as a protector of the Constitution and deserves our respect and attention to his words. Officer Davis is an example for us all. - MadKennyP, on 12/11/2007, -0/+8Not an option with Bush. "Get on board or pack your bags."
- MadKennyP, on 12/11/2007, -1/+7Once each, so far. And by you.
- wendelgee2, on 12/11/2007, -0/+4Just try to stop him.
- mumblyjoe, on 12/11/2007, -0/+3Worse yet, his grudging acceptance of the job would have (under the right circumstances) been trumpeted by the Administration of their policies. That's the Rove method in action.
- F1R3DUP, on 12/11/2007, -0/+3This is shocking! Unheard of...
Unfair trials under this administration? Never!
/sarcasm - Napoleone, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2Working from the inside to enact change is not always the optimal route. By resigning, losing a paycheck and putting his career on the line, this prosecutor has brought serious scrutiny to the issue.
- principle, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2So sad that so many honorable people have left because of this administration’s unlawful and unprincipled behavior. With no other recourse (including the whistleblower protection) available, resignation is the only choice under this administration.
- Curlz31, on 12/11/2007, -3/+5http://youtube.com/watch?v=VH3ZfoWLyf8 Here's the gitmo lawyer trying to defend this crap...
- GhostsAwake, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2You're with us. (16% Approval rating) or your with them (84% of the population). hmmmmm
- yodaj007, on 12/12/2007, -0/+2Your comment was totally unnecessary and quite offensive. Awhiteflame made a good point, and one you're rudely ignoring. Go back to your bridge, troll.
- awhiteflame, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2Why throw "Republican" around like that? Say what you will about the administration and its appointees or what have you, but being republican does not throw me in the same group as "traitors". I love and respect this country just as much as anyone else, and it's exactly that kind of divisiveness that's breaking our political system apart.
- yodaj007, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1How dare you lump all "Republicans" together under the banner of un-Americanism. There are good Republicans and bad Republicans, and there are good Democrats and bad Democrats. He clearly stated his viewpoint and yet you still denigrate him for no reason at all. He attacked no one on Digg. Instead, he merely stated that it's incorrect to lump a group of people under a negative, derisive banner.
Oh, and I have Masters degrees in physics, economics, english satire, chemical engineering, and I'm an expert lion tamer. See what I did there? Saying you have X credentials doesn't count for ***** on Digg, or any other online community for that matter. The only thing that matters is what you say and how you say it. - inactive, on 12/11/2007, -2/+3Look at his serious face...Kinda scary too.
- principle, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1It is unfortunate for the Republican Party but the term Republican over time became associated with pro corporate, and pro wealthy agenda. But the final straw for many came when they embraced neo-conservatism leaving true conservatives without a party with which they have something in common.
- yodaj007, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1Thank you for posting that video.
- courtjester555, on 12/11/2007, -1/+2How is Trotskyism (a child of Marxism) related to fascism? Sorry, but I can't take what you say very seriously.
- yodaj007, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1Clearly, he just did.
- adeptusliberus, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1definitely the face of a prosecutor.
- skews13, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1any commisioned officer,living up to honor,duty country,has no other choice

I dug you down by accident. I apologize. Feel free to return the favor. - lolo2007, on 01/29/2008, -0/+0So sad that so many honorable people have left because of this administration’s unlawful and unprincipled behavior. http://girls.paramegsoft.com - inactive, on 12/11/2007, -2/+1awhiteflame: If you're still a Republican, then you are either retarded or a traitor, but certainly un-American. You may be ignorant of it, but the new conservatives aka neocons are Trotskyist fascists & have nothing in common with conservatism. The Democratic party may not be perfect, but they're saints in comparison. Take it from someone who studies this stuff for thousands & thousands of hours & is an ex-neocon & ex-Republican.
- inactive, on 12/11/2007, -2/+1There's nothing funnier than a Republican pleading for civility in political discourse.
- objectcode, on 12/11/2007, -4/+2favor returned
- inactive, on 12/11/2007, -5/+3***** Godwin's Law.
- vernsan, on 12/11/2007, -10/+2If he didn't like how it ran, instead of resigning why couldn't he change it from the inside.
- inactive, on 12/11/2007, -11/+1Bushelvick? No. You can't do that.
- inactive, on 12/11/2007, -13/+1Send them back to afghanistan. Let them get caught and executed by the afghani troops..problem solved.
- snatchmstr, on 12/11/2007, -16/+1Let the liberals begin with the bashing. Lets see how many times ***** bush/cheney and global warming come up.
