- HugoNaught, on 11/07/2007, -6/+64George Will continues to say great things about Ron Paul. I hope he comes out with a straight forward endorsement.
- Jimmyb207, on 11/07/2007, -6/+54The time is near when the MSM will no longer be able to keep Ron Paul covered up as if he doesn't excist.
- scoobydoo84, on 11/07/2007, -5/+49George will absolutely needs to come out with a tacit endorsement. I wish some members of the military who clearly support Ron Pual would come out and endorse him!!
- brianbb98, on 10/31/2007, -4/+39I was kinda upset to hear that Ron Paul was going to be coming in second after Tom Cruise on The Tonight Show tomorrow but it should work out for the best. He might be a crazy guy but Tom Cruise is one of the most famous guys out there so a lot of people will watch just cause he's on then keep tuned as Ron Paul comes out. Hopefully Jay will do a good job at interviewing him and give him a chance to state some of his positions so we can get more supporters.
That was way off the subject.. sorry. - skipdog172, on 11/07/2007, -4/+39It is just so painful that SOOOO much of America has never heard the name Ron Paul, and haven't heard is message. I told my family about this man, and the support hes been getting and they were baffled how they had never heard of him. 4 more Ron Paul primary voters just from TELLING THEM HIS MESSAGE. I'm sorry but MSM outlets ARE doing big stories on Huckabee and other so-called "third-tiers". How is it even POSSIBLE that my family knew the name "Mike Huckabee" and didn't know "Ron Paul". Huckabee has not received any more support than Ron Paul, and his fundraising pales in comparision. How are common American truly unaware of the largest grass-roots movement in the country BY FAR?? It really does make you think that his message of freedom is being muffled by MSM.
- kcasper, on 11/07/2007, -6/+32And the comment we have all been waiting for:
Please donate to Ron Paul's campaign effort. An excellent way is to donate 100 dollars on November 5th. Details at http://www.thisnovember5th.com/ - shadowspires, on 11/07/2007, -4/+27Ron Paul needs to become the media darling and take over McCain's spot there... having more media coverage would sure help his name recognition.
- totorototoro, on 11/07/2007, -2/+24McCain doesn't really need anyone else to hurt his own campaign-he's done great all by himself :p
- LeadOffMan, on 11/07/2007, -5/+25Hard to imagine that trying to make the government run the way it was intended to could be described as maverickism. Just shows how far we have gone from where we should be.....
- undergrace, on 10/31/2007, -2/+22I had forgotten Ron Paul would be on the Tonight Show tomorrow, so even if it was off the subject... Thanks!
- kwansolo, on 11/07/2007, -4/+23I saw two big red, white, and blue "Ron Paul President" signs on both sides of an overpass on the 134 freeway in LA today. Very eye catching, and I bet you could probably see them from space.
Nicely done! - inactive, on 10/31/2007, -0/+16Yeah, and after Tom Cruise, even the people who think Ron Paul is insane will think he's sane by comparison. Just tell Ron Paul not to start jumping on the couch and yell out how much he loves the constitution.
- scudiac, on 10/31/2007, -2/+16me too. I bet we'll see more articles running up to the first primaries.
- brianbb98, on 10/31/2007, -1/+13I think that the MSM talks about huckabee because they know he wont win. They wont mention Ron Paul though because he is a threat to the way things are and they know that once people know his message they'll vote for him. I'm not saying Huckabee is a bad guy, but his message isnt all that different from the others, thats why I dont believe he'll win. He doesnt stand out enough like Ron Paul and he isnt whoring (or being whored?) the media like the "top tier" sellouts.
- LeadOffMan, on 11/07/2007, -0/+12last I checked he has doubled Huckabee's fundraising for the month of October
- dukeeeey, on 11/07/2007, -5/+16Ron Paul on the north american union ....

interesting stuff - buckybadger9876, on 10/31/2007, -7/+18i love how they count him out. we'll show them just how grassroots this party can be.

Make sure to register republican for this man!
GO RON PAUL - Fieri, on 10/31/2007, -1/+12Last time I checked, Howard Dean revolutionized politics and forced the Democrats to concede the anti-war movement as a legitimate force.
Oh, and he's running the entire party now. - g00dETH3R, on 10/31/2007, -1/+12The corp media will never do this, why would they back a candidate they don't own?
Candidates like RP and and Kucinich get no air time or are misrepresented or vilified when they get too big. - spottymaldoon, on 11/07/2007, -6/+17Of all the candidates, Ron Paul is the only one who isn't a blatant phony. Just look at the bunch of them cringing and toadying to AIPAC's will. I can forgive Ron his advocacy of the right to bear arms and some of the other quite lunatic principles which devout Republicans avow - just based on his foreign policy alone. On the Middle East, Ron Paul is right on target - they hate us because we are over there and in their face - and so would you if you were them! Give American foreign policy back to Americans say I.
- glowend, on 10/30/2007, -0/+10I agree with the sentiment, but Will cannot "come out" with a tacit endorsement. Tacit means implied or indicated (as by an act or by silence) but not actually expressed.
- vat0r, on 10/31/2007, -3/+13If you need reassurance just look at his congressional history. This man is NOT a neo-con and he is definitely not a flip flopper like all other politicians. The only real thing he could do for us in office would be to bring the troops home immediately. Anything beyond that and you're talking about some serious give and take that would have to come from all sides. I don't agree with him on everything but he hits the important issues dead on for alot of people and thus far is the only candidate worthy of my "vote".
He represents change and that is what we need. - Fieri, on 10/31/2007, -1/+10So?
I'm tired of micro-legislation. - SalsaConSabor, on 10/31/2007, -3/+11Spoonmeister:
You're completely backward. I don't know if that was your attempt at sarcasm or humor, but nevertheless, it's just wrong.
His foreign policy alone precludes him from any neo-con alignment. They support expansive foreign policy and pre-emptive war; Dr. Paul is against it.
Also, what part of his support for a secure border and no-amnesty policy do you find so abhorrent?
He supports state and local funding for education -- not the use of federal funding. And how you manage to pervert that into your immature Christian-bashing, I'll never understand.
And yes, by all means, reduce the influence of not only the lobby groups you listed, but ALL lobby groups at a federal level. - MWeather, on 10/31/2007, -1/+8I think you're just pissed because we do know, and we agree.
Shrink the government to it's constitutional mandate. If that's not big enough for you, amend the Constitution. - inactive, on 10/30/2007, -2/+9I don't think active military are allowed to publicly endorse candidates.
- ohcyrus, on 10/31/2007, -0/+6I've also seen "Ron Paul for President" on the overpass in Fresno.
- spottymaldoon, on 10/31/2007, -2/+8I tend to be on the left and so am amazed that I actually support this guy
- inactive, on 10/30/2007, -5/+11Ron Paul gives my hair that "just washed" feeling!!
- sanman, on 10/31/2007, -0/+6I remember when I used to watch This Week with David Brinkley as a kid with my Dad every Sunday morning, you'd sometimes hear George Will gush about Barry Goldwater and the "Goldwater Republicans". I could never figure out what that was about. But Senator Goldwater of Arizona was actually a forerunner of Ron Paul and one of the more Libertarian among the Republicans, so therefore it's no surprise to me to see George Will as a Ron Paul supporter today.
- spottymaldoon, on 10/31/2007, -1/+7Hillary is your man then
- jaymzdean, on 10/31/2007, -2/+8No, the Ron Paul haters are the *****. That's you, because you hate the U.S.A., think the Constitution is just a godamned peice of paper and you will pay the consequences for being a supporter fascism in our country soon enough. You *****.
- craigob, on 10/31/2007, -0/+6His voting record says otherwise.
- brianbb98, on 10/30/2007, -2/+7What he needs to do is mention the B.S. that the average voters like to hear. I dont mean lie, but talk about his family or something, make him more down to earth. I think sometimes people dont like him because he's always so to the point when asked about things. Thats great for someone whos running the country and it'll get a lot of things done but he needs to be voting for before that can happen.
- sensoukami, on 10/30/2007, -2/+7not quite...Krugman IS an Economist, and even liberal economists are not really "Left", as the fundamental hallmark of being a left-winger is that you think nothing in Economics is correct (which explains why North Korea is such a smashing success story and why the Soviet Union collapsed...)
- spottymaldoon, on 11/07/2007, -0/+5it's possible when the media are controlled by a foreign 'power' who will do anything to prevent Paul being elected - believe it!
- inactive, on 10/30/2007, -2/+7I'll settle for Ron Paul losing, and then being made chairman of the RNC.
- intangible, on 10/31/2007, -0/+5You're missing that the leaders of the UN and every other global collaboration is led by unelected, unaccountable people.
I agree about the US being the empire... They are enslaving/imprisoning dissenters as well (All the anti-terrorism junk they keep shoving down our throats)... just think of the US as the military arm of the global empire... Some of us here ARE trying to stop it... but too many are just following what they're spoon-fed. It's a fight for all people, not just Americans.
Those who care: RonPaul2008.com - jaymzdean, on 10/30/2007, -1/+6McCain sold his soul and has no real convictions other than personal gain. ***** him and his supporters. Idiots.
Ron Paul is going to stomp your ass. Get over it. - Fieri, on 11/07/2007, -4/+8He was talking to people, not you.
- MWeather, on 10/30/2007, -0/+4Most of the military anyone has heard of is already retired.
- NightVortez, on 10/30/2007, -0/+4What's wrong with being a republican now? George Bush doesn't speak for everyone in the party.
- Fieri, on 10/30/2007, -0/+4? Really? That's one of the major reasons I support him. Please enlighten me.
- kinerry, on 10/30/2007, -3/+7He was also the single nay vote on many issues, he votes what he believes and stands his ground
- spyd3rweb, on 11/07/2007, -4/+8McCain went soft after he was bought out for the military commissions act.
- thirdoffive, on 10/30/2007, -0/+4With people like you it's easy to see why the rich and powerful feel justified in being so awful. You like it; you're very comfortable with it. Congratulations you have the leadership you deserve.
When the country goes bankrupt and is surrounded by enemies created through years of imperialism don't bother crying for change, because it will be too late. - inactive, on 10/30/2007, -0/+4um... have you ever read "the return of depression economics?" to summarize: "printing money creates prosperity."
- jaymzdean, on 10/30/2007, -1/+5Ron Paul has as many Democratic supporters as Republican supporters. Probably more, actually. Ron Paul will be president. Get used to the idea. You might want to actually put your support behind him, because we will be gathering you fasicsts up in the near future.
- wishninja, on 10/30/2007, -0/+4I want to end the drug war and the united states empire. I really don't care about any of his other positions that much. I don't want to keep people from praying if someone wants to pray lets them go ahead, Raul's record is one of choice and it is spelled out in the bill he proposed. I do not care if some states think that abortion is murder, I may think the same way if I had seen them tossing living breathing babies into the trash can, so maybe it is not bad to let people choose to wash their hands of it. Estate taxes are wrong! I am not in favor of allowing illegals to come and go, I only oppose the border fence because I know it is only another drug war policy. The national labor movement is not doing what it was intended for and has gotten way out of hand driving jobs out of the united states. I think the fact that the republican party is "neo-con" is the reason many had to get the heck out and join with libertarians and maybe progressives. I am not a liberal, and I hate Bush so where does that leave me. As long as Ron Paul is still in the race there is still a chance I will vote republican for president for the first time ever. Now if everyone had been buzzing about gravel I would be hoping to vote for my first democrate. I will not vote for hilary no matter what, Rudy will never get my vote. I may end up voting third party again but what the heck do I have to loose by throwing support at Ron Paul? I think his cmpaine has already paid off if the real neo-cons are banning him from their sites and progressives are putting so much tward bashing him.
- brad3378, on 11/07/2007, -0/+4I didn't care either until I heard about Ron Paul
