Truly the congregation agrees with Wright, no one seemed otherwise. I cannot believe Obama disagreed with Wright during the racist and apostate sermons.
- inactive, on 03/14/2008, -2/+10If McCain backed his pastor for spewing anti black racism he would have been crucified (and rightly so) by the MSM but because its Obama and his pastor its soft pedaled by the MSM. This is just another example of the double stardard that exist and how when it comes to racism the minorities have the corner on it!
- djmcd, on 03/14/2008, -4/+12I have been wondering about what "changes" Obama has in store for the USA if he gets elected President. Well, after reading some of his Pastor's comments, I now have an idea and I want no part of it.
- inactive, on 03/14/2008, -3/+10If b. hussein were uncomfortable with the racist trash talk broadcast from this pulpit, he would have found a different church . . . so, yes, it applies.
- dlarson, on 03/14/2008, -4/+10Just wait, if Obama gets elected as president, it will be payback time for "whitey". If he listens to the likes of people like his pastor, affirmative action will be even stronger and maybe he'll even consider reparations for the past. I don't think Obama is a great uniter.....quite the contrary.
- mdowse, on 03/14/2008, -3/+9Obama's pastor is a racist, his wife is a racist, but Obama is not? If my pastor preached against blacks like pastor Wright preaches against whites and Jews, I would getup and leave.
Pastor Wright calls for God to damn America and Obama won't wear and American flag on his lapel. Maybe Obama is anti American, anti Jew, anti Christian, anti any race but black. Do we want to elect bad news Obama? - ChristNewsWatch, on 03/14/2008, -0/+6Eh... all the candidates are screwed up.... all have their side interests & agendas!
America's sins - our sins have indeed caught up with us... Jesus Christ (not religion) is the answer - though many will disagree, one thing is certain.... When we, as a nation, started removing Jesus Christ from society in earnest about 30 years ago, it planted seeds for the current problems we face!
Only if we turn back to God quickly in true repentance & strive to live Godly honest lives, will this nation be spared from the demise of this country!
Trust Jesus, not man! - Chitownmortgage, on 03/14/2008, -3/+9Notice how Obama does not talk about how great America is or has been, but how his "change" will make America great. Is this the change we can expect if he becomes the president. I hope we don't have to find out.
- inactive, on 03/14/2008, -4/+9Hal nails it again.
- inactive, on 03/14/2008, -3/+8He ought to be renamed Barack Marx Obama right now...
- aloner75, on 03/14/2008, -1/+5Mr. Obama has a lot to answer for, specifically what his pastor, the "reverend" Jeremiah Wright, has to say. As Mr. Lindsey states, "I believe that no one can sit under the teaching of these kinds of core beliefs for 20 years and not have his worldview significantly affected."
- aloner75, on 03/14/2008, -1/+4He's not making a "racist statement", he's telling the truth. There is a difference, ya know.
- robertrutger, on 03/14/2008, -1/+4The problem with all this is that it actually is starting to make John "Left Wing Express" look like an acceptable choice, wherein fact, he is just as bad, if not potentially worse than Obama. Looks like yet again, the fix is in!
- NoDrama, on 03/14/2008, -1/+4Ask McCain about Hagee.
- 10QGZus, on 03/14/2008, -0/+3Obama needs to distance himself from this racist bigot if he seriously wants the nomination for President. Wright is no different than David Duke. This man spews hatred. He is a dangerous man, and if Obama claims to respect this man, then he too is a racist and a bigot. Racism knows no color - only the true feelings of hatred.
- inactive, on 03/14/2008, -0/+2Obama just on his merits he is not fit for the Presidentcy, why would we want to vote for a President because he is Black? vote for someone who is going to lead America only through good and tough times and Obama is a Blame America first kind of guy. Big mistake with Obama he maybe a nice guy but I believe he is not for America and he shouldnt be President, and if people have a problem with that and use the race card then it confirms he has no business as President.
- inactive, on 03/14/2008, -0/+2AMEN and AMEN TO MY HOLY SPIRIT FILLED FRIEND .
- inactive, on 03/14/2008, -0/+2 This is what I have been warning the american voters about----------------the real change Obama has been referring to is , changing AMERICA over to the MUSLIM FAITH . The sadest reality is so many AMERICAN have been drawen away from the truth of what the HOLY BIBLE teaches by the LIBERAL MOVMENT , that many AMERICANS are so SPIRITUALY DEAD to what is going on around them , that they are like a LAMB being led to the slater house . And this is what Obama is doing to them and they don't even realize it . In the mean time they are the ones responible for destroying AMERICA . This is what I mean when I say, WAKE UP AMERICANS --------The MUSLIMS & LIBERALS are leading AMERICA into the same destruction HE said they would in the last days.
- inactive, on 03/14/2008, -2/+4I dunno . . . B Hussein Obama pretty well spells it out!
- dd12101, on 03/14/2008, -3/+5blacks are the biggest racist in the word right now. They have become what they sought to rise above.
- NoDrama, on 03/14/2008, -0/+1With Wright on the way out for close to two years you have to ask why the media wants our attention on the smear not on Obama himself. Who wants to distract us from his positions? Who thinks guilt by association logic should trump learning about issues during the primaries?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lY6qjeJ5mG8 - NoDrama, on 03/14/2008, -0/+1We always have to guard against what the media narrative is. Obviously this was designed to keep the focus off Obama himself... perhaps he's smearable, since he can't be beat when people hear his positions? This is perfect soundbite material, but if you want a soundbite president we can keep the current one.
- isukusa, on 03/14/2008, -0/+1It's only a double standard if you remain silent.
- inactive, on 03/14/2008, -1/+2HE just clamed HE has done so , but don't believe one word of it are any thing else HE is trying to snow ball the AMERICAN voters on .ONCE A MUSLIM ALWAYS A MUSLIM are they will kill you . This is why the MUSLIM ARE ALLOWING HIM TO CLAIM TO BE A christian , so they can get one of theirs in a position that can feed the TERRIOST the info. they need to destroy AMERICA.
- kooft, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1Oh, sorry, I guess technically it was a bigoted comment. Thanks for pointing that out.
- inactive, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1DOGODSWILL, Im with you may God bless you and yours I took a lot of heat on other digg and people were cruel, its all Gods timing is it soon yes when God knows but I will pray for those who dont know or choose to turn their back. Take care
- isukusa, on 03/14/2008, -0/+0It is really disappointing that this is where we are on racism in America in 2008. So many battles and struggles won just to have the "shoe put on the other foot"; we all lose.
I say let Obama win the nomination and let America vote between him and McCain. - kooft, on 03/14/2008, -2/+2"blacks are the biggest racist in the word right now."
You're trying to make a point about racism by making a racist statement? Seriously? - inactive, on 03/15/2008, -0/+0I will second that my friends, it is a rejoice to know that God keeps his promises and that we believe in JESUS as our lord and Savior we will be saved.
- inactive, on 03/16/2008, -0/+0Agree Tinylady, its not PC to correct someone and when that person is given a pass then its a real smelly deal, and if Obama wasnt down with the message his pastor is saying and 20 years attending that church tells anyone he is down with that church, and Pastors views. Obama is a blame America first and has no right to be President.
- inactive, on 03/16/2008, -0/+010QGZ, yes totally agree if a person who is running for public office has ties with a group or church or club whatever it is and that group is Anti-God or America, I get debate on American Military and social issues on both sides but clearly Rev Wright is a loud mouth Anti-America and Israel hater and has no business calling him a pastor and under that church and with Obama being a MEMBER of that same church for 20 years it is safe to say Obama agrees with 90% 50% but of what? thats the problem Obama may not agree with the pastor on certain views but just his 20 years there at the same church tells anyone with some sense he believes in most of it. Obama appears to be a Slick salesman trying to pull the cover over everyones eyes by pulling the race card, and playing on his looks whether then being honest. Obama may not be a Muslim all in all but I believe he supports Muslims and thats scary and he will let hate America be his office as President big mistsake for America to let him in.
- duckpin9, on 07/12/2008, -0/+0According to the United States Code,Title36,Chapter 10,Sec.171. quote: "During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart."unquote.
"As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be preceived as taking sides." Obama said. "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing". If that were our anthem, then I might salute it." Hey Folks, this is a United States Senator. Would you vote for somebody like this??? - inactive, on 03/16/2008, -0/+0NoDrama, Hagee is a End Times Pastor and to the people who follow and read the Bible what Hagee is saying is true as to Prophecy, Obamas Pastor is a blame America first and Race hater. Hagee follows the Bible and is going by the world events that are showing signs of what the bible says will happen in the End times.
- chigger58, on 03/14/2008, -3/+2Like I have been told most of my life, a black man can't be racist.
- inactive, on 03/15/2008, -1/+0 AMERICA would do well to listen to HAL LINDSEY . I would like all AMERICANS to go to his web. site (hallindsey.com) if you have never heard of him and lissen to the truth of what is happening around the world that is fullfilling PROPHECYin the end times . If you don't know JESUS CHRIST as your personal SAVIOUR , time is running very short . It will be a terrable tragedy for anyone to die with out HIM (JESUS) , BECAUSE THEY ALLOW the MUSLIM or LIBERALS to lead them away from HIM.----------------------Also if you would like to read other things I had to say , go to the replys I made to (CHITOWNMORTAGE) & (10QGZus) above . MAY GOD BLESS ALL.
- inactive, on 03/16/2008, -1/+0Obama is a blame America first guy and has no busines being President
- inactive, on 03/16/2008, -1/+0Kooft, where did you hear that? didnt a Muslim based Terrorist group attack the US? 9-11? I think it is safe to say the Muslims have declared War on anyone not Muslim. America allows any religion to worship Muslim countrys they kill anyone who worships anything not Muslim.
- kooft, on 03/14/2008, -3/+1Uhh, McCain's spiritual adviser has called for a holy war against Islam. I suppose going to war with Muslims, based soley on religion, is much better that whatever Obama's pastor said...
