Getting angry at Congress for pushing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac into buying bad loans and infecting the entire financial system with essentially fraudulent paper — at a cost of up to $700 billion in taxpayer money and potentially trillions in lost investments — means we’re racists.
- magecko, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2Racism? Really, Barney? So what you're saying then is that is WAS only poor Black families that were getting those loans? What happened to all of that discrimination that ACORN needed to fight?
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -0/+1This is the modus operandi of the democrat party. If someone is against you, call them a racist, gay-basher, or some other personal insult to deflect the very reasonable arguement away from yourself.
We can never have a real discussion on race issues because you will be called racist for bringing up legitimate points. Someone like Bill Cosby can bring them up and be marginalized by other members of the black community, but he won't be called a racist. If a white guy said those things, he'd be a racist too.
The bottom line is that you can't criticize ANY black individual on issues lest you be called a racist and that person crying racist will almost ALWAYS be a democrat. - Wolf73b, on 10/07/2008, -0/+1SCUMBAG!!!
