A delegate is essentially a super-voter; They get to vote for the GOP nominee. Regular voters will be voting to determine the delegates in your state Primary (or caucus); Regular voters can't vote for the GOP nominee. It was a slam dunk for Paul!
I gotten a lot of phone calls from a few friends that I have been working on convincing them to support Ron Paul and after this message they were like wow no wonder you like him......looks like I will be changing my candidate!

- inactive, on 01/12/2008, -0/+22My friend on facebook was asking me about Ron Paul, quite enthusiastically. She then got a chance to watch the Fox debates (which I was too busy to watch). Here is what I had to say:
I just got a look of a clip from the debate, and it looks as though he did pretty well. The media does a great job of accusing candidates of random things. I'm pretty sure is was Faux news who interviewed him saying that he was racist since one of the people who donated money to him was a white supremacist ! He replied something along the lines of "we don't have time to go through every single one of the donations that we receive, and besides, why would I give money back to support his cause?" I love that man :)
the next day:
Actually, I just found that "election-ability" clip online. This REALLY pisses me off. What a pompous, jackass question that was. I am dumbfounded as to how a candidate you could put up with a public insult like that, but he defended himself well ! And you know what? You are very lucky to have seen that live, because when Fox news ran the debate on air again, they REMOVED that segment ! What he is saying is completely TRUE and they are running SCARED. Fox even deleted the clip from youtube. For a clip from a public broadcast (a NATIONAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE at that!), that is uncalled for, and they are clearly being influenced by the government to not let Ron Pauls ideas spread. THIS is what pisses me off about media's involvement in politics. There is NO WAY that a television station should choose WHICH candidate they can hear from. I am outraged - Goodanswer, on 01/12/2008, -0/+22http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8TkmE5t1Pk

Just give them enough rope. They are going to keep messing around and keep violating RICO and eventually have to answer for it.

Anyone on the side of ron paul is going to be labeled a 9/11 truther wackjob and they will try to bolster support.....however the economy is going to not allow that to happen :) Get ready folks, here it comes!
- iswuzwilby, on 01/12/2008, -0/+13***** News has never had any credibility.. I remember as a teenager when ***** first began, it was known as the sleaze network. Sleazy shows. When they started with the news, I thought it was a joke. Never thought they'd have such a viewership, but I guess Americans are such passive sheeple sitting on their couches. Plus they've really become the propaganda machine for the neocons. I guess that documentary laid all the evidence of that out.

- gandhi2, on 01/12/2008, -0/+12U.S. Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C.
Section 107. Limitations on Exclusive Rights: Fair Use
" Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 106 and 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified in that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research is not an infringement of copyright. In determining whether the use made of a work in any particular case is a fair use the factors to be considered shall include --
(1) the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes;
(2) the nature of the copyrighted work;
(3) the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and
(4) the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work."
1) Non-profit, for personal or education uses
2) Not a creative work, live feed, content already distributed to the public
3) A partial clip
4) Could potentially hurt their market share if this information is available, but no more so than any other thing broadcasted on Fox, but the clip with no extra commentary can in no fashion be miscontrued to mean a loss of revenue for Fox.
This is a textbook case of fair-use. In fact, it is the same law which allows media companies themselves to include clips from other news organizations or from video feeds. Fox can only win a court case against a fair use argument if they are willing to fight against their own fair use right to also use clips for media purposes.
Anybody who is willing to put their money where their mouth is should follow the procedure for counter-notification at the following URL:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mffpkCH-PJw - Gilgamesh73, on 01/12/2008, -0/+11Guys, do you want to know what's REALLY going on? Look up the term: NEW WORLD ORDER. They will do everything to make sure Paul is not elected. Ron Paul will NEVER be elected folks--never, even if they have to assassinate him. You might think I'm nuts but a lot of you here are beginning to wake up and that is a good thing. At least do a little research on the NWO and you will gradually begin to see the BIG picture. We are being cheated out of democracy...as we always have. The truth is ugly.
There was *confirmed* voter fraud in NH!! Ron Paul was supposed to have received 20% not 8% and Obama was supposed to have won on his side.
