- NightflyLester, on 06/10/2008, -25/+768Karma's a bitch, huh?
- bkrock, on 06/10/2008, -26/+532This is why this election will be different. The internet changes everything.
Olbermann's guest last night summed it up well when he talked about how YouTube will force candidates [and tv personalities, for that matter] to remain accountable for what they say.
Fox News doesn't have the benefit of living in its insular, biased little media bubble anymore. Maybe they're learning... - alapoet, on 06/10/2008, -22/+287I'm tickled that Miss Hill got sacked! But...
I'm not getting too excited about it. Any changes like this that Fox makes will be STRICTLY cosmetic.
They are going to keep on blasting the same, hateful, tired old neo-con ***** that they've been pushing all along. - gn0stik, on 06/10/2008, -6/+267Her name's not Karma
- thirdcoastborn, on 06/10/2008, -25/+164It's about time Fox does something right.
- RicardoWilliams, on 06/10/2008, -29/+152Fox is racist and bias. Nuff said
- 4321234, on 06/10/2008, -0/+105(terrorist fist jabs all 'round)
- Ridgeliner7, on 06/10/2008, -8/+103Can any of you actually read? She wasn't "fired" or "sacked", merely yet another demographic adjustment, as alapoet said, cosmetic.
- stronglikedan, on 06/10/2008, -3/+81Too bad it wasn't Nancy Grace (I know she's on CNN, but she's such a bitch).
- john2kx, on 06/10/2008, -3/+64zing!
- GhostyBoy, on 06/10/2008, -5/+61I cannot believe that more than a single sentence, let alone an avalanche of media coverage, can be dedicated to what amounts to little more than a handshake.
I'm going to practice the fine art of scraping my tongue and teeth across the bottom of a dumpster, then walking around spewing it at people. Can I be a news reporter now? - inactive, on 06/10/2008, -3/+54And this is exactly why the net-neutrality issue is so important. We can't afford to lose our collective voices.
- monkeyrun, on 06/10/2008, -6/+50Didn't she get the memo? Her boss like Obama now.
- regression, on 06/10/2008, -1/+43terrorist fist jab in celebration anyone?
- Evolutuon, on 06/10/2008, -4/+38Its not about doing whats right, its about covering their ass.
- Yage2006, on 06/10/2008, -14/+47This ***** channel and all the ***** who watch it are the problem with america right now.
- 1jaxstate1, on 06/10/2008, -7/+40Ok she lost her show, but she's still with them....she'll be back one some other ***** show in a few weeks, sadly enough.
- unicronband, on 06/10/2008, -1/+33Youtube didn't roll out until 05. There's a pretty huge difference between reading about a politician's gaffe and actually watching them say it.
- charm803, on 06/10/2008, -0/+32I've been fist jabbing all day, along with freedom kissing!
- Arishia, on 06/10/2008, -10/+42This is great! Cosmetic or not, this is a shout out to all newscasters to watch their mouths.
- wild, on 06/10/2008, -8/+39Anyone get the feeling Foc is maybe just gearing up to become pro-dem once it realizes America (and the ratings) are leaning that way? I have seen a few things lately (not to mention comments of Murdoch himself) that make me think a strategic political shift is going to occur over there during the next year.
I know, I know, call me crazy... - trumpydumpy, on 06/10/2008, -1/+32He was talking about YouTube specifically, which was created in February of 2005. ARPANET was around in 1969 but I'm pretty sure people weren't posting video clips of politicians at that time.
- dronkmunk, on 06/11/2008, -2/+34She said ***** IT! And did it LIVE!
- WilliamDecker, on 06/10/2008, -3/+28On the June 6 edition of Fox News' America's Pulse, host E.D. Hill teased an upcoming discussion on a gesture Sen. Barack Obama shared with his wife, Michelle, saying, "A fist bump? A pound? A terrorist fist jab? The gesture everyone seems to interpret differently."
Tasteless comment yes, but come on...O'Reilly has said a lot dumber ***** than that. He's still surviving. If it was Karma O'Reilly would have been run over by a bus by now while trying to shake some dog ***** off his boot. - zydeco, on 06/10/2008, -0/+23I'm of the opinion that O'Reilly's karma wave is approaching more slowly, but will be magnitudes larger.
- inactive, on 06/10/2008, -0/+22Suicide hug?
- mrshickadance9, on 06/10/2008, -7/+27I'd jab her.
ew. no i wouldn't - theodenking, on 06/10/2008, -2/+22It hasn't changed anything. They've replaced her with someone equally as bad.
I actually feel sorry for the woman, it's not like being a conservative hack is unique at Fox. - IphtashuFitz, on 06/10/2008, -1/+20Yeah, it's bitch.
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -0/+19Nancy Grace is a horrible human being who delights in the suffering of others
- str1fe, on 06/10/2008, -1/+19Hey, it's a step up.
I think. - inactive, on 06/10/2008, -6/+22ahahahahahaha stupid bitch
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 06/10/2008, -2/+18"The Fox News Channel, which has been seeking a new format for the 5 p.m. hour, will place a rotating series of personalities in the time slot beginning next week, including the conservative radio host Laura Ingraham. "
Oh no, did they just say they're giving Laura Ingraham a show?! She's like Bill O'Reilly in make-up. More "fair & balanced" news alright. - schroderr224, on 06/10/2008, -7/+22You know, I'm not so sure Fox News has ideals. They're an upstart network who's always looking for an opportunity to get on top. After hearing Murdoch's comments that Obama will win in a landslide I wouldn't be surprised to see them switch to blue.
Maybe this is the beginning of a full housecleaning.
Maybe. - TheThirdLevel, on 06/10/2008, -0/+15That was a sarcasm attempt full of FAIL.
- Hangly, on 06/10/2008, -2/+17*terrorist fist jab*
Aw yeah - shakbhaji, on 06/11/2008, -1/+15Even her production staff hates her!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWPY7b35vF4 - chockZ, on 06/10/2008, -3/+16At least Obermann does not try to be someone he is not. When you watch that show, you know you are going to be viewing someone with left wing views spouting left wing commentary. When does Olbermann say he has a balanced opinion? He is a political commentator, which means he has specific political views - if you don't like them, don't watch him.
Fox News, on the other hand, with such slogans as "Fair and Balanced" etc. likes to trick stupid rednecks into believing that bringing on a Junior Democrat Intern and a Senior Republican Strategist counts as a legitimate debate. Just watch Hannity and Colmes, where they bring on a hardcore conservative and a man who describes himself as a "moderate democrat".
Speaking your opinion is one thing, but when you claim to be a legitimate news source that presents unbiased information but do the opposite, that is unacceptable, and that is why Fox News is such a joke.
So BURIED! - kaelyiesta, on 06/10/2008, -3/+16You're missing the bigger picture. Fox News cares more about money than it does about ideology. Murdock of course tried to push things a certain way, but the foremost concern is to appeal to viewers. This isn't any better now that its starting to shift away from its previous bias because it is still bias. You will still be lied to so whether that lie is something you want to hear or not, its still lies. These guys are in the business of entertaining you, not providing you factual and honest news.
I'm glad they cut that imbecilic bitch, but don't think for a second they are doing it for the right reasons. They care about getting you to watch their advertisements, that's it. - vacax, on 06/10/2008, -4/+16If Digg commenters knew how to read they might have learned that the cancellation of her show has nothing to do with her comment on Obama, and that she is in fact still employed by Fox News.
- WiseWeasel, on 06/11/2008, -0/+12If she's the show's anchor, then she claims responsibility for what she says. An anchor has full editorial control over their script, and either writes it or edits/approves it well before it gets to the teleprompter. Anchors are not actors, they're the TV equivalent of editors.
- aladrin, on 06/10/2008, -6/+17Biased. You can't -be- a bias, but you can have bias and you can be biased. If you're going to insult something, do it right.
- GorfTron, on 06/10/2008, -9/+20The comment was totally ***** up and made no sense at all. Obama's candidacy is going to shake a lot of ***** like this from the bushies. Sit back and enjoy watching the morons implode.
- str1fe, on 06/10/2008, -2/+13http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=pu ...
- Gunsotsu, on 06/10/2008, -8/+19Next up... Bill O'Reilly.
- ngmcs8203, on 06/10/2008, -2/+12Technically yes, but not in the form that we know and use it today.
- bbqsalad, on 06/10/2008, -0/+10yeah she is a pig, literally she is made of pork.
- EllimistX, on 06/11/2008, -1/+11"Fist-pound? What does that mean? ***** IT! We'll do it live!"
- retr0grade, on 06/11/2008, -0/+10but would you fist her?
