- Insightful, on 11/08/2007, -3/+75Al Quada will bury this post because they hate me for my freedom to post on Digg.
- inactive, on 10/29/2007, -7/+32Maybe, just maye Fox has got this one PARTIALLY right.. they're just looking at the wrong kind of 'terrorist'. Maybe it's an domestic terrorist on the run, a la Eric Rudolph, hiding out in the California mountains after bombing abortion clinic and who forgot to put their illegal campfire out. They never did catch the (domestic) Antrax terrorist who sent NBC & Tom Daschle those letters. Or, maybe some of Fox "New's" KKK compatriots were burning crosses in those same mountains in initiation rituals, perhaps even with Tom Tancredo & Duncan Hunter as invited ghosts, err guests. Hmmm. The possibilities with this FOX line of thinking are endless.
- supermanred, on 10/25/2007, -6/+28If you still get your news from Fox, you deserve the Facist state you will be getting soon.
- tokage, on 11/06/2007, -7/+29Right, because we all know that Fox News has a long-standing history of providing unbiased, relevant information that positively influences our opinion of popular subjects...
Just because Fox News bases it off of an FBI report doesn't mean it's useful information that needs to be mentioned. - EntropyMan, on 10/29/2007, -3/+23Al Quada (the square) must be the sister group to al Qaeda (the base)... They're mostly harmless, but stand opposed to rounded corners in any form.
/which would be really interesting if the root 'quad' and 'qaeda' had common origins as, say, the square foundation of a building... - Tomboys, on 10/25/2007, -3/+12Bush (the cowboy) can't even ride a horse. How's he gonna ride a motorcycle?
- EntropyMan, on 10/29/2007, -3/+11That deserves a hearty "***** you" for calling anyone but a Nazi a Nazi.
BTW, I was kidding with Insightful, who happens to be a friend of mine. - FutureGuy, on 10/25/2007, -1/+8Every time they say "fair and balanced" I feel someone slapped me on my face. Why would anyone with even a pea sized brain watch fox news baffles me.
- Xill, on 10/25/2007, -2/+9WTF At what point does lying like this and spiting out propaganda become criminal? Crasy stuff.
- vonfook, on 10/25/2007, -5/+12Why would Al Queda attack people who hate America?
http://thinkprogress.org/2007/10/22/beck-ca-wildif ... - darklights, on 10/25/2007, -0/+6All jokes aside, there are some worrying developments in the USA. Government seems to have control of popular media, government wants to give permission to people to fly (i.e. leave the country).... Isnt the USA just turning into the new China?
- EntropyMan, on 10/25/2007, -5/+11Impossible. Did you see Bush trying to ride a Segway? The guy choked on a pretzel. No way would any secret service agent trust him with an open flame.
- Brianguy2000, on 10/25/2007, -2/+8Obviously Iran started the fires
- fnaqzna, on 10/25/2007, -2/+8I am a native Californian and a veteran. I think Glen Beck should go ***** himself.
- stepnw1f, on 10/25/2007, -1/+6Fox News: Watch out for "Pen Lazors" and "Exploding Cows"!
- nyx210, on 10/25/2007, -1/+6I still don't get how he managed to fall using a Segway...
- iching, on 10/25/2007, -5/+10The message they used was 4 years old and California was never named in it.
Bring the troops home now .........get it? They just gave an excuse to bring the troops home. - EntropyMan, on 10/25/2007, -1/+6I thought it was 72 virgins. Seven sounds like a rip-off.
But what I never understood is: what's the supposed lure of "getting" virgins after you're dead? It's not like they'll have sex with you anyway... I mean, come on. They DIED VIRGINS. Does dying suddenly make them want to put out? Not a chance. So living with 72 virgins who can't/won't have sex with you seems more like torture to me. - ciaran036, on 10/25/2007, -4/+9jesus christ someone should shut down fox.
- GuacamoleSan, on 10/25/2007, -6/+10Fox News is an outlet of the neocons in government to spread the fear message....i bet the idea of linking the FBI to the fire was in the "memo" for the day on what issue to focus on.
- inactive, on 10/25/2007, -6/+10More idiocy from FOX. It amazes me that there are people that actually believe the feces that these anti American hacks spew.
- grrrrrrrrrrrrrr, on 10/25/2007, -1/+5 al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda TECHNICALLY al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda YOU al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda ARE al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda CORRECT al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda SIR al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda
- frenchkick, on 10/25/2007, -2/+6santa ana bro
- olik, on 10/29/2007, -0/+3I swear to God, right here and now, if there ever turns out to be a real link between these fires and Al Qaeda I will sit down and eat my hat PIECE BY PIECE.
- OriginalLucid1, on 10/25/2007, -1/+4"WTF At what point does lying like this and spiting out propaganda become criminal?"
This about Fox News, not Dan Rather. Or CNN. Or the AP. Or The New Republic. You get the drift. - XedLos, on 10/25/2007, -3/+6OMG ***** YOU FOX
- inactive, on 10/25/2007, -7/+10Spoken from someone who gets their news from thinkprogress?
- CannibalTom, on 10/25/2007, -0/+3Bro, its called fair and balanced reporting!
- skews13, on 10/25/2007, -2/+5while i was reading these diggs,it occured to me.when did fox start reporting news?
- brianbb98, on 10/25/2007, -2/+5OMG only George Bush can protect us and keep us free!!
- inactive, on 11/06/2007, -1/+4The FBI memo was from 2003, and did not mention California. Yet, Fox "News" said them memo was from "June of this year" and said, about the suspect in custody, that the police "should be able to find a link" to al Qaeda. So yes, Fox did originate the information, because the information (and I use that term lightly) they reported had hardly any basis in this little realm we like to call reality.
- CannibalTom, on 10/29/2007, -0/+2Obvious notions like a "domestic" terrorist are too far-fetched in a post-9/11 world for Fox news and it audience. But it can always be blamed on a liberal America hating American right?
- stutimandal, on 10/25/2007, -2/+4Al Qaeda may ignite a small portion of the dry grass, but they can never cause state-wide winds of 80mph for a few days. We don't have invisible gigantic fan technology.
- omegaant, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2These people (Bush, et.al.) never read the story of the little boy who cried wolf. No one believes him anymore - so, if there really is a terrorist, I hope he just gets Bush!
- Pilot85, on 10/25/2007, -2/+4OMG We have to bomb San Diego! Al Qaeda in California is there! I feel we will be greeted as liberators.
- trevorjez, on 10/25/2007, -3/+5i'm surprised they didn't blame it on mexico and then claim their coverage of non-whites as terrorists is fair and balanced.
- dd12101, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2The fires are intentional diversion. The question we should all be asking is what else is going on right now,
the sneaky ploiticians failed to pass the Dream Act today, so that can't be it
Turkey is bombing the border with Iraq
there's something else happening while we're all watching kalifornia burn, the real news is somewhere not being covered.
Just think about it,,, - inactive, on 10/25/2007, -1/+3How stupid are YOU? They never said that these fires were started by Al Qaeda.
- iching, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2The truth will set you free and it doesn't come from Faux news. This needs to get out or people will continue to believe this *****. That is why you should digg it..I live in California and I am offended by this ***** that they pass on to their 'viewers'.
- ascolti, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2That's funny. So the follow up to 9/11 is a bush fire.
Is A.Q. low on suicide fighters? But has s**t loads of matches? - hmac, on 10/25/2007, -1/+3Wait, so these guys can't get 7 virgins in real life? Maybe it is better they offed themselves.
- supermanred, on 10/29/2007, -2/+4Spelling Nazi is your friend? Just kidding. I liked the comment, it wasn't your typical Spelling Nazi comment, it had humor. I give it a 7 out of 10.
- drmobutu, on 10/25/2007, -1/+2Ya gotta hand it to Arnold: If anybody benefits from the California wildfires, it's Schwartzenegger. It's a huge PR event...the governator gets to demostrate his "leadership" in a time of national crisis...and given the weakness of the current crop of GOP presidential candidates, plus the prevailing anti-Republican mood these days, before you know it, the rest of the GOP will be voting to "Ammend for Arnold".
After, of course, Arnold has given them all private assurances that he is, in fact, conservative enough for them. Which he is, and then some... - joeschoe, on 10/25/2007, -0/+1We Are Change.org Be the change you want. Enough govt. handing out false memo's for the media, then reading the newpaper and acting on it. Join or make your own group. Peaceful challenge to the greedy globalists. Step up.
