- bitcloud, on 10/11/2007, -14/+129Prescott Walker had his nazi money siezed, but was later reimbursed the $1,500,000 his company made. "These assets were later used to launch Bush family investments in the Texas energy industry."
Theres a lot of information around about other early prototype MIC (military industrial complex) companies such as IBM and others floating around the net, and there are without a doubt better articles that the fox news article submitted....
such as this one:

If anyone else has articles outlining the profitability of war, in WW2 or today, share them! - Scruffydan, on 10/11/2007, -23/+93as much as I dislike Bush he should only be judged on his actions, not his Grandfathers (or fathers)
- Vicissidude, on 10/11/2007, -17/+80Is it just me, or don't you wish we knew about this say, 20 years ago when Bush Sr was running for president?
Oh, and MAYBE someone in my family owned slaves 150 years ago, but it was certainly NO ONE I KNEW! This dude was Bush Sr's DAD! There IS a difference there. These guys are STILL dirty. - GlobalistShill, on 10/11/2007, -24/+64Did you know about the recently released deathbed confession of a man who names names about the real killers of JFK? Don't miss that George H. W. Bush could possibly be implicated:
http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/april2007/300407deathbedconfession.htm
Did you know that George H. W. Bush recently made a statement at a public event, pretty much out of the blue, saying that the "official" story of the murder of JFK was TRUE?
George H. W. Bush is a 33rd degree Freemason:
http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/33rd.htm
Check out what Leo Lyon Zagami, a 33rd degree Freemason, has to say about George H. W. Bush:
"I believe the CIA wants people to think otherwise, but as an insider I can assure you that all true satanist love George W.Bush, and in the Masonic Lodges the power of his father is felt everywhere. And any mention of his son George W. doing the wrong thing will automatically bring you to expulsion from Freemasonry, the Rotary and even the Boyscouts."

The Rothschilds funded both sides during Napoleon's time. The money is made in the military expenditures. Bush Jr. is clearly pro-Israel and Zionist so that only confirms that his grandfather wasn't a Nazi but probably just a profiteer.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -20/+44Eeegad! Don't bring up these facts about the Bush family! People may begin to see a correlation between Gramps Bush and the one in the White Castle in D.C.

Essentially, if you didn't have ties to the Nazis or your business wasn't nice to them, you'd find yourself without a business and without any money. I don't see why this is so surprising.
- laserblazer, on 10/11/2007, -3/+16As I recall, Joe Kennedy thought the Nazis were swell.
- flashboy131, on 10/11/2007, -7/+20Kind of related but the Carlyle Group is one name always mentioned when money and war is brought up. from Wikipedia:
In the book House of Bush, House of Saud, author Craig Unger states that Saudi Arabian interests have given $1.4 billion to firms connected to the Bush family. Nearly 85% of the $1.4 billion, or about $1.18 billion, refers to Saudi Arabian government contracts awarded to defense contractor BDM in the early to mid 1990s. Carlyle, however, sold its interest in BDM before former President George H. W. Bush joined as an advisor.
Former President George H.W. Bush retired from Carlyle in October 2003. George W. Bush served on the Board of Directors of early Carlyle acquisition Caterair. Bush left the board in 1992 to run for Governor of Texas.
The Saudi Arabian relatives of Osama bin Laden were also investors in Carlyle until October 2001 when the family sold its $2.02 million investment back to the firm in light of the public controversy surrounding bin Laden’s family after the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. The bin Laden family has publicly disowned the al-Qaeda leader.[citation needed] Osama bin Laden has no economic interest in Saudi Binladin Group (SBG), whose investments were in part managed by the Carlyle Group until the arrangement was terminated by mutual consent. - clkou, on 10/11/2007, -4/+17The Bush family has profited from those who suffer?! Lots of stuff. - wakananda, on 10/11/2007, -4/+13The contention that Bush is a zionist, so he must have broken with his family's Nazi legacy, is a non-sequiteur. In our controlled media, and in our national mythology, we are taught that the zionists are escapees from the Nazis. In point of fact, the Zionist movement, particularly the founder of modern zionism, Theodore Hertzl, betrayed the german jews who thought of themselves as germans, and who laid claim to german citizenship. As a separatist movement, the zionists and the Nazis were on the same page RE "the jewish question" - i.e., problematizing the existence of jews in Europe, as both a distinct racial and national group. The Nazis enthusiastically assisted the emigration of german jews to Palestine from 1933 to 1941, when the war precluded the effort. Zionists praised the infamous Nuremberg laws, which forbade intermarriage and the display of the german flag by jews. The jewish underground military operation in Palestine, the Haganah, worked closely with the SS, which supplied them arms. Over 60,000 jews and many millions of marks were transfered with the aid of the Third Reich. In the 1930s the Nazis were unarguably the zionist's greatest allies.
- tvhack, on 10/11/2007, -9/+18That is incredibly weird that it was on Fox news. Does somebody in Rupert Murdoch's office know that there is a journalist in the building they better fire him/her quickly. You can't show bad info on Past, Present and Future Bushies thats a crime isn't it or is that Bill still to be passed.
- koebs, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Wow this is seriously old news, who didn't know this?
- bitcloud, on 10/11/2007, -5/+13I think you're missing the point.
Bush's current position in power, and Bush Snr's position prior are both the direct aftermath of trading with the enemy - they were both DIRECTLY funded by war profiteering... It's no surprise then that the VERY thing bush gets accused of today is *war profiteering*
EISENHOWER warned us of the military-industrial-complex that he saw manifesting during the second world war.
The VERY people he was talking about were the Prescott Bushes of his era.
The VERY people he warned of are Prescott's own grandsons.
I'll reiterate so as to make the point abundantly clear.
EISENHOWER saw people including PRESCOTT BUSH profiting from war.
EISENHOWER warned people that warmongers exist who will push for war to profit from war.
PRESCOTT BUSH's *own grandson* is the very archetype of the political wing of the military-industrial complex. - esoterroriffik, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9We've been talking about this since George Bush Sr. was the director of the CIA back in the 70s.
- HappyScrappy, on 10/11/2007, -6/+14http://xkcd.com/c261.html
- catstack, on 10/11/2007, -4/+11It's also interesting to note:
Fritz Thyssen broke with the Nazis in 1938 over their persecution of Catholics and Jews, and fled to Switzerland. He later was arrested and spent 1941 to 1945 in a Nazi prison.
So it's equally truthful to say that Bush's grandfather had ties to a bank whose owner was arrested by the Nazis and spent most of the WWII years in prison. - bitcloud, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10No alarm bells going off in your head?
Eisenhower warns us of the military industrial complex because of people like *bush's own grandfather*. Then when you have a modern day military industrial complex - in which key players include PRESCOTT'S OWN GRANDSON, people continue to bury their heads in the sand.
Bush's modern financial situation (the basis of his and his fathers political careers) are DIRECTLY as a result of money made from trading with nazi's... Just like how the current administrations grandkids futures are likely secured by their arming and subsequent violent disarmament of countries like iraq.
This isn't about finding dirt on Bush - this is about opening our eyes and seeing whats really, constantly going on in the world behind closed doors. - HappyScrappy, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9The British invented the jet engine. And they flew a jet plane before the war was over without Nazi help.
- wakananda, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10Maybe the people digging up the story at some point decided to stop dismissing freemasonic/occult/intelligence connections a priori, and began reading some books on the subject. Without spitting at each page, sputtering "Bah! Nonsense!" but simply looking into some of the literature on the subject, to see what could be learned.
- HappyScrappy, on 10/11/2007, -5/+12VBDon:
I don't digg a lot of people down, but I dugg you down for your ***** reactionary comment that Bush is a great man for the job.
He's an awful president. Yes, you're right, this news doesn't mean he's a worse president, but it also doesn't make him a better one either. - fancypantscz, on 10/11/2007, -19/+25GWB deserves to be in jail (along with many others from his administration). We must put him there to show future presidents that there is a price to pay for hijacking the White House and blatant disregard for the truth, rule of law, and the will of the American people.
In this context looking back at how the Bush family got its money is a distraction. All history is open to manipulation (how many other wealthy families got their start as a result of Nazi activities in WWII?) and so lets focus on the Bush administration's current lawlessness. Just one example:
US federal attorney firings...

Halliburton is the dark enemy of the world now. (prescott was a bonesman, too)
But well. what is not nazi... I mean the german scientists they captured right after the war... they made the US-Army to what it is today. No nazis means: no jets, no rockets, no a-bomb, not even Apollo 11. - HappyScrappy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6xtraa:
Whittle invented the jet engine in 1929 and received the patent on it in 1932.
The Brits flew a jet plane before the end of the war.
Look it up.
The point is, even without the Nazis, there would have been jet engine development. - gazwilwah, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Bushes grandfather was a convicted nazi funder, Guliani's father was a mob boss, Bush the president has been dealing with the Bin Ladens his good friends for years, and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

We did. The Dukakis campaign downplayed the importance at the time out of fear of looking "crazy". The Bush family Nazi connections were overshadowed by Willie Horton. White America doesn't fear the Nazis, because the view was that "we" kicked "their" asses 40 years prior. White America was/is still quite fearful of young black men.
The first Bush didn't have much time to screw up. He presided over relative economic prosperity (although a recession was beginning towards the end of his term), led the country through a widely supported war (though, of course, we all know how THAT turned out...), and never pissed off enough people to make a big deal out of it. Had Ross Perot not run in 1992, Bush Sr. may very well have wound up serving a second term. - ajpr, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6It is true... look it up if you don't trust us!
- Y0tsuya, on 10/11/2007, -4/+10Numerous American industrialists had cozy relationships with Nazi Germany before a little thing call Pearl Harbor put an end to that. Grandpa Bush was just one.

Read some books; it's all well documented. Prescott was laundering money for Adolph. Germany>Holland>NYC. If you continue your reading you will uncover information about Sam Bush, George Herbert Walker, and other family members. Patriots all. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5This is eaxactly the reason people neeed to read a little about the people you are voting for. Bin Laden is a family friend of the Bush family also.......
- nosecohn, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6International bankers keep themselves connected to people in power. Their most profitable periods are times of war, during which most lend to both sides. Trying to find any family in power who is NOT in some way connected to a bank that has lent money to the losing side during a war is nearly impossible. It's sick, but it's true.
- Sendss, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5No doubt a lot of us learned some values from out Grandfathers.

- oriondarkwood, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5All I have to say is this quote
“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money (generous gifts) from the public treasury. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most money from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship.”
“The average age of the world’s greatest civilization has been two hundred years. These nations have progressed through this sequence.
From bondage to spiritual faith;
from spiritual faith to great courage;
from courage to liberty;
from liberty to abundance,
from abundance to selfishness;
from selfishness to complacency,
from complacency to apathy,
from apathy to dependency,
from dependence back into bondage.” - vguard, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Bush isn't the real problem. He is only a symptom. The real problem is simply too hard for most of us to deal with. It's far easier to scapegoat "the bad guy" The real problem is ALL OF US.
Why do we still allow a handful of individuals to dictate our world view and belief systems?
Why do we keep forgiving and trusting people who consistently screw us over?
Why is so easy for handful of people to create false divisions where none exist so that we kill each other?
Why do some of us always seem to "sell out" the rest of us and do their evil for them? - Breepee, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7You Americans live in such a messed up country. I can't believe you elect these people and let them smear your good name. Do something about it.
