- NoDrama, on 06/09/2008, -13/+213I guess FOX is so busy turning information into entertainment that they don't notice how many people in the USA do that - even on TV. Nice try at a smear if it wasn't so blatantly out of step with our culture.
- dlm85, on 06/09/2008, -9/+202The worst part of this is the viewers of Fox News will think it is a terrorist fist jab. I had a guy tell me that he would not vote for Obama because of his name. I looked at him and said, "That is one of the most ignorant things I have ever heard."
- rawg, on 06/09/2008, -8/+198Holy crap! I saw some guys doing the TERRORIST FIST JAB at the starbucks this morning. Hold on while I call homeland security.
Fox News is pathetic. - TecHeavy, on 06/09/2008, -13/+165These people are sick.
- perkonis, on 06/09/2008, -7/+125They're not even pretending to be real news any more.
- DebsW, on 06/09/2008, -10/+108Can you believe the press would be so desperate?
- DeepFriedFetus, on 06/09/2008, -3/+97The Terrorist Fist Jab pales in terroristic comparison to the Islamofascist Thumbs-Up Death Salute.
- arrrapirate, on 06/09/2008, -6/+77fox news is like real life internet trolls.
i mean, imagine if someone came up to you and said that? - CoffeeJoost, on 06/09/2008, -7/+77I guess they have blown our cover on the 'TFJ' (terrorist fist jab). Damn, they're good!
- dagnabbit, on 06/09/2008, -8/+75Unbelievable. Apparently the terrorists at Fox never watch sports. Some good examples of the "terrorist fist jab" here:
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/6/9/93211/13897 ... - BrownMoses, on 06/09/2008, -5/+71If you watch it in the right way Fox News is like a 24 hour Colbert Report, it's pure unintentional self parody.
- snareguy17, on 06/10/2008, -6/+61First thought: Are you ***** SERIOUS?
Second thought: Are you ***** SERIOUS? - badasschick, on 06/09/2008, -7/+54All the more reason to believe that FOX's core demographic is the key paranoid and ignorant age group
- Stavrosian, on 06/10/2008, -0/+46That's the trouble with democracy. You can give the people the vote, but nobody said the people were going to stop being stupid.
- actorboy, on 06/09/2008, -1/+45Yep. Even though they used it as a teased, Fox planted the seed of capability with their viewers: "Is Obama really a terrorist?"
- rahamm, on 06/10/2008, -3/+43Pffffftttt this is nothing I saw Bush giving an "Islamofascist chest thump" the other day WITH A NEW MEMBER OF OUR MILITARY. They are everywhere just be on the look out people of anyone having fun.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article- ... - wynja, on 06/09/2008, -5/+44When the ***** are we going to hold our media outlets accountable? These people are supposed to be the first line of defense against governmental corruption. Now they are part of the corruption. I've stopped watching the news networks. I suggest everyone boycott them. When they start losing revenue due to viewer disgust, they may change their tune and start actually reporting again.
- coffeebaby, on 06/09/2008, -6/+41you can hardly call fox news "the press". it isn't real journalism.
- orelses, on 06/09/2008, -9/+40Its a jesture of sport, they are basketball fans. Thats all.
- JSavage37, on 06/10/2008, -5/+32Holy jumping ***** *****.
Firstly, I would conjecture that more than half of America has done that before. Apparently 50% of us are terrorists (democrats). Secondly, how ***** PATHETIC is it that we are micro-analyzing these god damned candidates body movements rather than talking about what they ***** stand for? I'll bet you more people now know about the Obama fist-jab rather than his actual stance on the mortgage crisis. - zerobackup, on 06/09/2008, -5/+31I think there is some kind of internal contest at Fox News to see who can say the most wildly ignorant statement of the day.
- kevman459, on 06/10/2008, -0/+25It's like what I saw on the Daily Show once, Fox News can put a question mark after any statement and remove all accountability.
"Is the Obama family part of an underground network of vampires living amongst us?" - inactive, on 06/09/2008, -7/+31Can't even give dap without Faux Noize calling it terrorism.
- justz00t, on 06/10/2008, -8/+30Man, I just overheard some people talking the other day and I heard them saying that they said something along the lines that they would vote for Obama because of the color of his skin. A few months ago I heard some older women saying they would vote for Hillary because they want to see a women president. What is this world coming too?!? why would anyone place there vote for such ignorant reasons?
- LZeppelinJ0, on 06/10/2008, -3/+23Cocaine is a hell of a drug
- platypusREX, on 06/10/2008, -2/+20Listen FOX, I do that all the time when I am terrorizing at work and drinking with buddies. It means like "All Right!" and I just ran a jihad training camp. I was in charge of the monkey bars. Yes, that is me in that CIA 1974 terrorist monkey bar training camp video that they still use as if it was yesterday. I haven't even aged a bit. So I guess Fox got Obama and me as well. Damn you Fox! Uh la la la la la!
- AtHomeBoy2000, on 06/09/2008, -5/+23Faux News has an odd obsession with body gesture analysis.
I guess we know their new angle when a democrat is in the white house.. this is what they say, but their body REALLY is saying this. - syda, on 06/10/2008, -0/+18Crap like this makes me ashamed to be an American.
- Br3ach, on 06/10/2008, -5/+22What in the mother F is a terrorist fist jab? Oh Fox News, I almost pity them....
- fluxion, on 06/10/2008, -0/+17it's only a matter of time before half of America's youth gets shipped off to Guantanamo
- nblsavage, on 06/10/2008, -4/+20Good thing he wasn't wearing a paisley scarf.
- nblsavage, on 06/10/2008, -3/+19This was a deliberate smear. Not a joke. Apologist.
- adamh227, on 06/10/2008, -4/+18The ignorance this moron is promoting should be considered terrorism.
- rahamm, on 06/10/2008, -4/+18Hahahaha this guy is the defending the terrorist fist bump. Congrats you are the dumbest ***** on the internets today.
- wishninja, on 06/09/2008, -8/+22This is going to be a very funny four years with when Obama wins and the liberal majority being at top power these people will be totally destroyed and insanity and panic will ensue among them. *Obama wins and that is what they come up with? Things are going to get crazy and I mean Ann Coulter crazy X2
- t1cal, on 06/10/2008, -0/+13Attack the messenger because you don't have anything else to say. Sad really
- zydeco, on 06/10/2008, -1/+14We better start investigating the NBA next...before it's too late!
- jellygraph, on 06/10/2008, -3/+16Terrorist Fist Jab? What the hell is that? Never heard of one before...
- Ne007, on 06/10/2008, -5/+18The sad thing is is that people actually believe this sort of *****. I can't wait to hear this ***** at work tomorrow.
- Stavrosian, on 06/10/2008, -0/+13Kudos to Colbert for nailing it so well, I say. After watching him for a while, every time I see Fox News (not very often, obviously) it just plays as a joke to me.
- Mikidogo, on 06/10/2008, -0/+13I'm making the Terrorist Fist Jab my goto greeting.
- 1310nm, on 06/10/2008, -6/+19Fox News - Fair & Balanced. If you live in a RedState(tm).
- inactive, on 06/10/2008, -1/+13what's even funnier is that foxnews has a target audience of around age 50 (it's on their website). obama is about that age, and he seems to have an idea what is going on, but foxnews is still clueless.
- chambana, on 06/10/2008, -0/+12When talking to a bigot about Obama, don't give them credit for being ignorant. Don't accept their premise, and just make them feel far away.
- Ne007, on 06/10/2008, -4/+16You do know that madrassa means "school"....right?
- brentinkc, on 06/10/2008, -2/+13A "news" reporter intimated that the presidential candidate of a major party is a terrorist. That is hardly a mishap. A mishap is when they're doing a story about a Republican in Florida who got arrested for flirting with thirteen year olds and they stick a (D) next to his name.
- rz8472, on 06/10/2008, -2/+13I actually watched "America's Pulse" (the show where the remark was made) for a while back when it was just called "The Pulse", entranced by the cool-looking CGI transitions that FOX is so great at doing. Then I realized that their coverage on the runup to the Iraq War was propaganda and one of their specials on "the environment" was filled with mis representative footage of marine mammals attacking people parsed in with scary music as if protecting the penguins or walruses were akin to caving into the terrorists.
BBC NEWS > FOX opinion journalism* any day.
*Even this is generous; it's essentially propaganda. - hawkeye17, on 06/09/2008, -6/+17The funny thing is that Hill is so stupid she didn't think people would have a problem with what she said. And people still wonder what's wrong with journalism in America?? This stupid woman is a glaring example.
- nblsavage, on 06/10/2008, -5/+15He was 6 years old. Did you attend your kindergarten reunion? Oh, wait..I doubt you've graduated yet.
- Mejari, on 06/10/2008, -2/+12Once Anonymous finishes off Scientology I hope it turns it's gaze on Fox. It will be an epic battle of internet trolls v irl trolls.
