Also, Texas ranks as one of the absolute worst in education. (It was one of Bush's legacies, going back years and still current)

Improve education for all!! - MsLaurel, on 11/01/2008, -0/+2The headline reads well, but the article degenerates into "We'll let you have your president, but don't get your hopes up," conservative tripe.
This newspaper seems to forget that, by voting for Obama, the pulic will give Obama a mandate to push forward his campaign platform --just like Bush claimed to have a mandate in 2004.
This newspaper also assumes that there will be Republicans in Congress after this election is over, and that those Republicans will oppose Obama's platform that the American people, their constituents, have voted-for, because Congress (read Republicans) Knows Best.
This is exacty the way that the White Boss talks to the Black Plumber in the South, while he's cheating him out of his wages. What can you expect from a Texas rag?
