Florida’s “No Match, No Vote” Law May Disqualify Thousands

foolocracy.com — Florida plans on the selective use of its new “no match, no vote” law for the November election. The law requires a voter to use a driver license or social security number to match against a state or federal database. Florida intends to enforce this law only with the 130,000 voters who are newly registered.

  • IrishJoe, on 10/08/2008, -0/+2What happened to the equal protection clause the supposed underpinning of the Bush v Gore Supreme Court case that resulted in George W. Bush being the 43 US President based on Florida voting? By only enforcing the No Match No Vote law with the 130,000 newly registered voters they are capriciously enforcing the law targeting one group for enforcement and excluding another. That won't stand up in court. They know this will be challenged as it should be. Once again Florida will lead us to a court case to decide a presidential election. Can't these clowns in Fla ever get this right? It's all or nothing. That was what the SCOTUS said last time.
