- Hillsfar, on 10/31/2008, -7/+325So what if carloads of Blacks are coming from the inner city to vote?
Aren't cars driven by Whites going to polling stations to vote?
Obviously, this is a racist e-mail no matter how you look at it. - elwior, on 10/31/2008, -10/+262 What a Racist Pig!
- samimnot, on 10/31/2008, -9/+176VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!!
It's the only way to show these ignorant racists that "TRUE AMERICANS" are NOT listening to a word coming out of their hate filled mouths.
That being said, President Obama can not fix the incredible mess the GOP/BUSH years have made of our country, by himself. We must vote for a honest, intelligent and hard working Congress and Senate into power, to help him.
-If the first words out of a candidates mouth is God...vote them out of office. They belong in a church, not our government.
-If a candidate has a track record of corruption or of being inept...vote them out of office. They do not belong in our government.
-If a candidate refuses to do the RIGHT THING and push policies that help ALL AMERICANS...vote them out of office. They're NOT on our side. - bobartig, on 10/31/2008, -3/+128Dear Black Inner City folks,
Keep Voting. And the carpooling thing - thumbs up, saves on gas.
Sincerely,
America - ReasonWinsOut, on 01/07/2009, -5/+127Joomal: how are you substantiating that claim? Blacks overwhelmingly vote for Democrats anyway. What proof are you willing to offer that a lot of people are voting for him just because he is black? What is alot? Who are they? How do you know?
I think that claiming these carloads of Blacks are "from the innercity" to vote for Obama SOLELY because "after all he is black" is a racist generalization. - Ganpachi, on 10/31/2008, -2/+100If we don't stop the Blacks from voting right NOW, then they might get the idea that ANYONE can become president!!~!!
- sullivanst, on 10/31/2008, -3/+93The GOP hates it when people vote. There's nothing they fear more than high turnout. They're not just fighting against the Democratic party, they're fighting against democracy itself.
- writie, on 10/31/2008, -3/+89Again, I am stunned that this particular Republican at least just cannot comprehend that people might genuinely want a change of government. No matter how many names they throw at Obama, they still seem to have trouble recognizing that in the eyes of many people, the Republican party has failed the country. And the persistent negative campaigning, which basically says, "Well, he is even worse than we are," confirms this feeling.
Obama is not a socialist and even less a communist or Marxist (have they ever spoken to a Marxist?). His presidency will not turn the US into a People's Republic, no matter how many times they try to imply it.In times of crisis, the country needs a stable, cool hand at the helm. And many people see that in Obama, apparently. - inactive, on 10/31/2008, -2/+88if this kind of thing gets on the front page and eventually onto the MSM news -
there will be a spot light on it, and these people will be forced to see themselves as others see them -
the reactions they get should be sobering -
until then, they're emboldened in their isolated bubbles, surrounded by like-minded racists.
dig and shout them out of their dark holes into the daylight of the civilized world. - SheilaNoya, on 10/31/2008, -1/+72Churches are coordinating bus loads of Evangelicals to vote.
That's more scary to me. They gave us George W. Bush last time and I sure don't want them giving us "Grandpa Grump" and the "Pentecostal Beauty Queen" this time. - inactive, on 10/31/2008, -12/+82is the barrack where you train marines or zerglings? I can't remember....

Subject: VOTE
This e-mail was sent to me from one of our Volunteers in the Temple Terrace
office. If you think it can help us win this election please pass it on. This
election is now in our hands everyone can make a difference.
Thanks
Dave
THE THREAT:
HERE IN TEMPLE TERRACE, FL OUR REPUBLICAN HQ IS
ONE BLOCK AWAY FROM OUR LIBRARY, WHICH IS AN
EARLY VOTING SITE.
I SEE CARLOADS OF BLACK OBAMA SUPPORTERS
COMING FROM THE INNER CITY TO CAST THEIR VOTES
FOR OBAMA. THIS IS THEIR CHANCE TO GET A BLACK
PRESIDENT AND THEY SEEM TO CARE LITTLE THAT HE IS
AT MINIMUM, SOCIALIST, AND PROBABLY MARXIST IN
HIS CORE BELIEFS. AFTER ALL, HE IS BLACK--NO
EXPERIENCE OR ACCOMPLISHMENTS--BUT HE IS BLACK.
I ALSO SEE YOUNG COLLEGE STUDENTS AND THEIR
PROFESSORS FROM USF PARKING THEIR CARS WITH THE
PROMINENT 'OBAMA' BUMPER STICKERS. THE
STUDENTS ARE ENTHUSIASTIC TO BE VOTING IN A
HISTORIC ELECTION WHERE THERE MAY BE THE FIRST
BLACK PRESIDENT.
THE COLLEGE PROFESSORS, PARTICULARLY IN THE SOCIAL
SCIENCES, FOR THE MOST PART HAVE LITTLE OR NO
EXPERIENCE IN THE WORK-A-DAY WORLD.
THEIR LIFE EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN MOSTLY ACADEMIC
UNDER THE TUTELAGE OF LIBERAL COLLEGE
PROFESSORS. FOR THEM, A LITTLE SOCIALISM AND ANTIAMERICANISM
IS A GOOD THING. AFTER ALL, IF
TERRORISTS ATTACK US, WE MUST HAVE DONE
SOMETHING TO PROVOKE THEM.
YOU AND I UNDERSTAND THE DANGERS THE POTENTIAL
OBAMA PRESIDENCY PRESENTS TO OUR WAY OF LIFE.
THE SUPPRESSION OF FREE SPEECH, INTRODUCING
UNION INTIMIDATION IN THE WORKPLACE, INCREASED
DANGERS TO OUR NATION BY TERRORISTS, CUTTING
OUR DEFENSE BUDGET BY 25%, TURNING OUR TAX
SYSTEM INTO A NATIONAL WELFARE SYSTEM AND
ECONOMIC POLICIES THAT COULD DRIVE US INTO A
DEPRESSION.
THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO
STOP OBAMA: VOTE !!!-------
(AND GET EVERYONE YOU
KNOW TO VOTE)
ONLY YOU AND I CAN STOP
OBAMA NOW ! !
SEVEN DAYS TO GO AND WE
MUST ACT IMMEDIATELY..
A PLAN OF ACTION FOR YOU AND I:
• VOTE. OBAMA IS ADVERTISING ON TV ASKING ALL
HIS SUPPORTERS TO TAKE A DAY OFF WORK OR
CLASS TO VOTE.
• CONTACT PERSONALLY EVERYONE YOU KNOW
REMINDING THEM TO VOTE AND HOW IMPORTANT
IT IS. PARENTS, VOTING-AGE CHILDREN, IN-LAWS,
CO-WORKERS, CHURCH CONTACTS, SCHOOL
CONTACTS, BUSINESS CONTACTS. MAKE A LIST AND
CONTACT THEM.
• SEND THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE ON YOUR EMAIL
LIST THAT WANTS TO DEFEAT OBAMA.
YOUR EMAIL IS AN EFFECTIVE TOOL IF YOU USE IT WISELY
AND PROMPTLY. YOU CAN REACH 10,000,000 PEOPLE IN
THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS IF AS FEW AS TEN PEOPLE ON
YOUR LIST TAKE PROMPT ACTION AND TEN PEOPLE ON
THEIR LIST AND TEN PEOPLE ON THEIR LIST...YOU GET
THE IDEA.
LET'S ALL PRAY AND WORK AND WE WILL SURELY
CELEBRATE OUR VICTORY ON 11/5/08.

- JoeMondo, on 10/31/2008, -0/+48Just what these racist ***** have lived in fear of for generations: Black people voting.
Excellent. - jimchap, on 10/31/2008, -2/+49It's sad to see that these idiots are chairpersons as well as card carrying members of the Republican idiocracy.
Justice will be served on a big ole platter this Tuesday. - inactive, on 10/31/2008, -5/+47Thank God they are voting- and car pooling!
- Depthfunction, on 10/31/2008, -0/+42I was more offended by what the email said about college professors and students. It's that sort of narrow, anti-intellectualism which is doing more harm to the long term interests of this country than any terrorist attack could.
- Cuchanu, on 10/31/2008, -0/+41And he had the nerve to say he didn't agree with it, even though he was the one that forwarded it. So he is a racist and a liar. Good combination.
- Okinsley, on 10/31/2008, -2/+43dam white racist.
go back to the KKK - oldgal, on 10/31/2008, -8/+44When Obama gets elected the black folks in this nation will cease to be second class citizens based solely on the color of their skin - they will have to earn it like the rest of us - through character or lack there of. If I were black, this would probably be a compelling enough reason for me to vote for Obama.
- GrogInOhio, on 10/31/2008, -2/+38Blacks have voted for 140 years for a white man (when allowed to vote!). What were they then? Reverse racists? Do you not see the stupidity of this claim?
- spookyttws, on 10/31/2008, -0/+35It's just like when people say that Obama is Muslim. My reaction is always "He's not, but what if he was? I don't understand why that would be a reason not to vote for him." Apparently it's socially unacceptable to say "i won't vote for a black man" but not "I won't vote for a Muslim"
- darkciti2, on 10/31/2008, -0/+34Haha, typical uneducated Republican even emails in ALL CAPS because he doesn't know grammar 101.
His sig was probably written up for him and stored in his email app.
How pathetic. - Luciapalooza, on 11/01/2008, -0/+33So apparently getting a college education and being informed is un- American
- ironiridis, on 10/31/2008, -2/+31Nearly everyone in the racial majority was implicitly supporting segregation when it was common. And while I could waste paid hours at work finding example after example of progressive individuals leading the charge against segregation in Brown v. Board of Education, I'd rather not waste the effort on someone who uses the term "democraps".
- 5xSTUN, on 11/01/2008, -1/+30I'm happy to see this level of panic and frustration by a group so long accustomed to operating unopposed. They're throwing everything they can think of at Obama and nothin's stickin'. They're digging themselves deeper and deeper. Go look at worldnetdaily... the desperation is written all over it.
- wherearemymeds, on 10/31/2008, -4/+33Someday in a better future, maybe we'll be able to eliminate a term of color when describing events or a person.
- ahawks, on 10/31/2008, -0/+29The racism thing surfaces in many ways unfortunately.
I know a lady who said she'd vote for obama but she's afraid he'd be assassinated. Retarded. - mockidol, on 10/31/2008, -0/+28From the E-Mail (What Obama will cause):
THE SUPPRESSION OF FREE SPEECH
Yeah, because out current leader was so about free speech. - MWeather, on 11/01/2008, -1/+28"That's quite ironic, isn't it? When you consider that democraps didn't mind the racial segregation back in 1960s."
You mean the bill filibustered by Strom Thurmond, or the one written by JFK? - shadowman99, on 10/31/2008, -4/+31Hey Storck -
I'm white and I voted for Obama too. Here's my ballot:
http://members.cox.net/shadowman99/webversion2.jpg - richardparker01, on 10/31/2008, -0/+26Are these republicans still living in 1850s? Who the ***** cares what color someone is? I can't wait for their party to go extinct.
- Bith8654, on 10/31/2008, -1/+25"So he is a racist and a liar. Good combination."
I think in this day and age you pretty much have to be a liar to be racist. I mean what honest justification do they have? - Cuchanu, on 10/31/2008, -3/+27I agree wholeheartedly.
Hell, if there were two candidates, side by side, more or less equal, I would vote for the black one, simply because it's about god damn time. - nofrickenway, on 10/31/2008, -0/+22LOL they got a black guy named White for the interview.
- gilgamesh23, on 11/01/2008, -1/+23What cracks me up is when people (republicans) think that blacks are voting for Obama strictly becasuse he's black. I'm certain that there is a fair percentage of blacks that this is true for, but to be straight, Blacks have always mostly voted Dem. Why the HELL would they cross party lines for MCcain?
- langdonalger, on 11/01/2008, -1/+22for real dude! that 95% of black people who voted for Kerry are totally racist, too! cause black people used to vote republican until that black obama came along!
- hpkomic, on 11/01/2008, -0/+20Oh Florida, can you ever go through an election without doing something ***** stupid?
- Ganpachi, on 10/31/2008, -1/+20I suppose when there are only two choices it is easy for the oppostion to try and distill a reason to vote for someone down to just one primal cause. Who cares about a nuanced comparison of the policies of McCain and Obama when you can just say "Oh it's because he is black~!"
Racism does not mean that you are taking a negative action based purely on race. It means that your world view places race on a disproportionate heirarchy in your thoughts. By that measure, Joomal is a solid racist. - TheWriteGuy, on 10/31/2008, -1/+20Many Republicans these days are racist *****. The fact that the Democratic candidate is a black guy is finally bringing their true feelings out into the open.
To be honest, I think it may be for the best in this country that people finally get their repressed feelings about race out into the open. I for one wouldn't mind knowing who's a racist in my day to day life so I can actively avoid and shun them. - mmoore81oak, on 11/01/2008, -1/+20AFTER ALL, IF TERRORISTS ATTACK US, WE MUST HAVE DONE
SOMETHING TO PROVOKE THEM.
you think? - BradHAWK, on 11/01/2008, -1/+20A lot of black people supported Hillary too, because she's black.
- paintgrl, on 10/31/2008, -1/+19I am white and voting for Obama. Guess what, it has nothing to do with the color of his skin. Obama is a real leader and his policies on energy, taxes and the war are the main reasons I am voting for him. I think that is the main reason most people who vote for him are doing so, no matter what the color of their skin. To assume to know a persons motivation based solely on their looks is prejudice. I am sure there are people on both sides voting on color, but I think it is a small percentage. I hope America has come a long way since the 60's and Jim Crow.
- hitkaiser, on 11/01/2008, -0/+18firebats
- moduc, on 11/01/2008, -2/+20I just experienced something could be racist just 5 minutes ago.
Some kids came to my door for trick or treat. So I open the door, with candies ready. The girl looked at me, turn away. I was totally surprised. Other kids followed. I heard one asked why. She said "chinese".
She belongs to a minor race too. I don't want to say what it is because I don't want people to look down on that race. However, most other people the same race as her didn't do that and they took the candies, and nicely said thank you. So it's not her race.
One thing that I can explain in a positive way is that there's the poison problem with Chinese food lately. So, maybe that could somehow caused fear. But it really made me sad.
I am not Chinese by the way. - tamaker, on 10/31/2008, -0/+17Or that Black people have earned the right to express their opinion... They make it sound as if ALL black people are voting without thinking... I personally gave Obama a hard time early on when he announced and decided midway through the primary to vote for him.
As if the ***** up state of things (remember, when America catches a cold, Poor and disproportionately, Black people catch ebola) Black people are too dumb to figure out "Oh, *****, I better vote to get these ***** out of control!"
Laughable and in some ways, sad. A GREAT, scratch that - THE Greatest nation on this earth and look at mankinds regard for each other. Selfish, racist, selfrighteous, war mongering ***** make me ***** sick. - Cuchanu, on 10/31/2008, -0/+17I don't think there is anything wrong with seeing a person's skin color, as long as it doesn't determine your interaction with them.
I know two guys named Chad. Nobody knows their last names. One is black, the other is white, so if somebody doesn't know which Chad somebody is talking about we just say, "black/white Chad." No discrimination there. - inactive, on 10/31/2008, -0/+17God forbid they get all uppity.
/s - Thousand, on 11/01/2008, -0/+17Hate hate hate hate black blah blah hate hate blah hussein blah blah muslim rant black rant hate hate hate blah blah hate hate socialism blah...
Iraque? Seriously? I'd call you an idiot but I don't want to disgrace idiots by lumping you in with them. - wherearemymeds, on 10/31/2008, -0/+17No, nothing wrong at all with seeing skin color.
I should have been clearer--what I meant was the pre-judgemental use of color as an element of a person's status or character.
I think we're in agreement. -
