The only value I see in this film is emphasizing on freedom of expression and while I consider it absolutely shameless propaganda, Wilders still has every right to distribute it.

My brother in law is muslim... from Morocco. I've met much of his family. Most of them are not really practicing in the same way that most American Christians are not really practicing. personally, I'd like to believe that most of the terrorism that takes place is just from the same sort of psychos that go around blowing up abortion clinics and the same guys that used to ride around in the KKK lynching people. It's the same sort of attitude dressed up in a different religion. The Koran is a ***** up book when it's read literally - but the Bible is a pretty ***** up book when that's read literally as well. I doubt most christians take their text so literaly, but some obviously take it moreso than others. But they've had 2000 years to become lax on their text, and the Muslims have had only one third of that time. Give them another 1200 years or so and they'll probably be just as goofy and loveable as the christians are today.
That said, I'll try to watch more of this thing later, but it's hard for me to really consume this much horror in one shot. I've seen my fair share of violence and death in person, and even after all that I have a really hard time seeing it on video, especially when it's the point of the video... knowing it's going to happen i guess makes it worse for me. I have never watched the nick berg beheading due to the fact that it would probably make me pass out.
