‘Fiscal Conservative’ Palin increased the debt by 500%

thinkprogress.org — When Palin left office in 2002, Wasilla (population 5,469 in 2000) had “racked up nearly $20 million in long-term debt,” (up from $3.9 million) or roughly $3,000 of debt per resident. In other words she increased the debt by 500%.

Deficit spending is bad unless they're our deficits. And now we see once again the 'forgiveness' trick being played for Bristol Palin. Can you imagine what the right wing would have said about the Obamas if one of their kids did the same thing? Would they have received the same hypocritical forgiveness?

The idea is to spend more in order to make sure that the budget is maintained and people are further taxed so that the state can save more...see? Makes total sense....(FYI I have no idea WTF I just wrote up there. If it makes sense to you please explain it to me I just made it up as I went along. It sounds like a FOX news type of thing IMO)
