What people are saying about Sarah Palin:
http://thenewscoverage.net/4720/ - akasidney86, on 09/04/2008, -0/+7Typical of hypocritical right wingnuts. Big government is bad unless it's ours. Nation-building is bad unless we do it. Deficit spending is bad unless they're our deficits. And now we see once again the 'forgiveness' trick being played for Bristol Palin. Can you imagine what the right wing would have said about the Obamas if one of their kids did the same thing? Would they have received the same hypocritical forgiveness?
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -1/+6Reagan, Bush Sr., Bush Jr.: they all did that. The only fiscally conservative president of the past decades was Bill Clinton.
- JoeParanoid, on 09/04/2008, -0/+3Couldn't they simply pay it off with their annual 3 grand from the state?
- Hillsfar, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3She doesn't believe in a balanced budget or pay as you go. Instead, she borrows heavily to spend on a sports complex that's still a money drain years later!
- paradexes, on 09/04/2008, -0/+3Fiscal Conservative...she is conservative about saving money...in the backwards talking and rhetoric this could just as easily mean conservative about spending...meaning spending more to save more. The idea is to spend more in order to make sure that the budget is maintained and people are further taxed so that the state can save more...see? Makes total sense....(FYI I have no idea WTF I just wrote up there. If it makes sense to you please explain it to me I just made it up as I went along. It sounds like a FOX news type of thing IMO)
- Evilblobs, on 09/04/2008, -0/+2Terms like 'conservative' are thrown around so often, and under so many connotations nowadays, that they have lost nearly all meaning.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1"When Palin left office in 2002, Wasilla had “racked up nearly $20 million in long-term debt,” or roughly $3,000 of debt PER resident."
- Beagle17, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1Here's a term to try: GOPocrisy
- UpperUpsilon, on 09/04/2008, -3/+3Women... Always spending...
