Feds Delay New Rules For Lobster Trap Lines

susancollins.com — Sen. Susan Collins says the federal government has delayed a requirement that lobstermen change the type of rope they're using. She said the National Marine Fisheries Service agreed to delay until April 2009 a requirement that lobstermen using sinking rope to prevent whale entanglements.
