- majida4, on 08/14/2008, -3/+37Thank you again, Robert Greenwald. You cut right through the b.s.!
- Brickem, on 08/14/2008, -0/+31The fact that Fox News has a significant amount of viewers, scares me to the core of my being.
- yuduke, on 08/14/2008, -1/+27But how do we get the main stream media to view this and write about it? They'd much rather just copy the Faux News talking points.
- sirjoebob, on 08/14/2008, -2/+28haha.. fox news is so lame...
- alfredjr, on 08/14/2008, -1/+23Goodness. Why do people even watch Fox news[sic]?
- dreamercolin, on 08/14/2008, -0/+20the propaganda machine is hard at work.....destroying democracy
- jeffbw, on 08/14/2008, -0/+19The Fox needs to be put out to pasture. Thanks for the eight-year nightmare, scumbags.
- klowe812, on 08/14/2008, -0/+17Turn off Fox Noise!
- recklessron, on 08/14/2008, -0/+14At first Fox got away with it because no one knew better. Now they are only making themselves a laughing stock. If Fox news told me that tomorrow night the sun would set in the west I'd need to get confirmation elsewhere before I'd believe them!
- hawkewoode, on 08/14/2008, -0/+13FOX is a sick joke. The only thing sicker is that there are many so-called Americans who trust them and believe their garbage. The lunatics on FOX (O'Reilly especially )should be institutionalized for criminal insanity. knowing the truth and deliberately lying to the public is criminal considering what has been do our country in the past 8 years thanks to their brainwashing of an ignorant populace.Unfortunately they are just the tip of the stenchy iceberg that is the "news media" in this country. Thank goodness we have the internet so not all is lost!
- Marlee, on 08/14/2008, -0/+13The best defense is a good offense :D
- savannahcat, on 08/14/2008, -1/+13The media is up to their old tricks.......look what they did to Ron Paul. They were determined that his message would not be heard so they ridiculed him, blackballed him, told big lies about him.....misrepresented just about everything about him..........and it worked. The dumb people of this country listened to the media.....there are way too many sheeple in this country who just want to sit on their rear ends and watch Dancing with the Stars.....and are perfectly willing to let people like bill (windbag) o'reilly and despicable sean hannity decide who they should vote for. I also believe that GOP will stop at nothing to put lame mccain in WhiteHouse and that includes shenanigans on election day....ask President Kerry about that. It should be perfectly obvious to everyone by now that mccain will do or say anything to get elected......he has no scruples.....just look at all the lobbyists he has working for his campaign(many of very questionable character).......don't you think there is going to be a day for "paybacks" if he is elected? I cannot tolerate another 4 years of Bush's failed policies and corrupt Administration......but that is exactly what we will get if mccain is elected. Bush has put this country on edge of destruction....mccain will push us over the cliff. Fox must be stopped....but they are not the only network with an agenda.
- wkuinkc, on 08/14/2008, -0/+12Excellent piece about the hatchet job on Obama here...
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/joseph-a-palermo/jer ... - johnskiddles, on 08/14/2008, -0/+12Thank Brave New Films for exposing Faux's lies and BS.
- lokisez, on 08/14/2008, -0/+12Never underestimate the stupidity of most Americans. There has always been a distrust of intelligence, and a celebration of ignorance. As long as FOX continues to "talk about the news" without any true reportage (Red States: you can look that word up in the dictionary), people will be happy with the untrue soundbites they are fed. THAT IS WHY IT IS CRUCIAL THAT WE ALWAYS AND IN EVERY CASE TAKE THEM ON AND SPEAK TRUTH! Do your homework, know the facts, and take 'em on! Worst case scenario: they'll see that we refuse to take it any longer.
To quote Marty Balin at Altamont:"Fight back! Fight back! Fight back!"
And remember that there are MILLIONS of US! - LegendaryStats, on 08/14/2008, -0/+12Fox is nothing but a right wing, propaganda spewing machine. Its time for the BS to stop
PS: Bill O'Reilly needs to be off the air forever, I dont know why this man still has a career - onyxcoltrane, on 08/15/2008, -0/+11Don't forget to sign the petition: http://foxattacks.com/virus

How do we get these things played on the MSM? - louise12345, on 08/14/2008, -0/+11Everyone who'd like to punch Michael 'weiner' Savage in his stupid face, gimmee a Digg!
- ThomasNast, on 08/15/2008, -1/+10FOX - "distorted and unbalanced - 24/7" - but even they aren't the real problem. Anyone who has beyond kindergarten-level critical thinking skills already knows that FOX is nothing but clever spin - an infomercial for the ultra rich right. The problem is that the other networks allow themselves to be pushed to the right - to be "fair". Here is what they mean by "fair and balanced" - just simple math.
Say Obama does one thing wrong and 9 things right - and McCain does 9 idiot things and one that is halfway smart. The entire TV media is cowed into covering one good and one bad for each - that is "balanced" but it is far from fair and in no way is it "News".
It's all just hype and spin - CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS (at least the last one is properly named: C....BS)! They are all BIG, BIG, BIG BUSINESS and they ALL favor the right in their coverage. - sassce, on 08/15/2008, -0/+8Folks this is why we refer to them as FIX NEWS! They spin everything to fit their right wing conservative republican agenda. STOP WATCHING!! FIX NEWS! They would not know the truth if it bit them in the ass!
You want to fight FOX
GET OUT THE VOTE!
NOT THIS TIME!
OBAMA 08!! - genepooldesign, on 08/15/2008, -0/+7This really should make its' way to the front page.
- leoburg, on 08/14/2008, -0/+7Hey what about US all emailing Billo about the 20 buck a barrel oil he was talking about? Its seem to me he meant to say 20 a gallon.
- petomni, on 08/15/2008, -0/+7At first I thought another Obama Ad on digg, but that was actually really fun to watch.
- namesrtaken, on 08/15/2008, -0/+5Well-done. Bravo!
- sloughin, on 08/15/2008, -0/+5The Faux News Network, at it again... my mother watches this dreck. My mom has Alzheimer's and Fox plays this horrible loop over and over with the little lost girl in Arkansas, the baby snatcher in PA, and the murderer in Montana, three times each hour -- and each time she cries about the girl and the baby, and is outraged about the thug in Montana. She can't help it, she can't remember what she just watched, but for the rest of them, there's no excuse. Fear mongering is all it is.
- livforjoy, on 08/15/2008, -0/+4I've actually stopped watching all the Fox channels. This kind of intentional lying is outrageous and all too typical of the misuse of power -- media, position, money, visibility, etc. I'm signing this AND not watching them. They only respect money. That's where and how you get their attention. God help us -- and the decision makers and drivers at Fox.
- JenniferInMO, on 08/15/2008, -0/+4Fight negative with positive. It takes several attempts to get a positive message through and only one to get a negative message through. Fox is John McCain and the neocons personal tool. Yes, Barack Obama is raising lots of money, but we need to do more. He has to pay for his marketing and advertising.
I have established a fundraising group on Obama's web site where we can contribute money to keep his positive messages flowing. If you are enraged by this do something. I urge you to donate just a few dollars every time you see a particularly unfair Fox news report (you shouldn't be watching that stuff anyway!), or if you see more smear passed along in the corporate media, if you see a comment online or a negative blog or e-mail that has taken on a life of its own. Copy this link and share it online: http://my.barackobama.com/page/outreach/view/main/ ... Challenge others to make a contribution whenever they run into an angry troll online or a negative news story. Then go back, thank them and let them know that their negativity inspired you to do something positive.
If you can't donate then do something else. I am starting a blog with a list of things we can do to help. Do something, even if it is just a post on a blog, a political conversation with your grandparents or a $5.00 donation to either Barack Obama's campaign or one of the close Senatorial races where the Dems are having a tough time up against well funded Republican opponents. Donate here to help the Senatorial candidates: http://www.dscc.org/
Join me in responding to negative with a positive and see the change we can cause! - buckpower, on 08/15/2008, -0/+4Rule of thumb: if you're a regular fox viewer for anything other than comic relief, then you're a worthless moron who should consider doing the world a favor and offing yourself.
- rharrie, on 08/15/2008, -0/+4They should be called Fox Fiction.
- jgilliam, on 08/14/2008, -0/+4There's a petition at http://foxattacks.com/virus to the media to make that point. 45k signers.
- Rixar13, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3It is time that Americans stand up and Fight this Negative Lie machine. Please spread the truth about Fox Noise.
- wtrwlkr, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3You know i'm gonna laugh my ass off when Obama gets elected in November and come January, the talking heads at Faux News won't be getting talking points from the White House and they'll have to be original for a change.
- JenniferInMO, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3Excellent video, but unfortunately short. The problem with Fox is that they do these things EVERY DAY on EVERY SHOW. Chances are you could turn your TV to FOX any time of the day or night and hear something like the "terrorist fist jab" comment, an "accidental" referal to "Osama" instead of Obama, or Michelle Obama is full of rage (i.e. an angry black woman) or that Barack Obama is presumptuous, overconfident, etc. (i.e. an uppity n***r). They know exactly what they are doing and have a strategy to carry it out. Note how every show will follow the daily talking points to ram it into the viewers' minds.
Do not watch FOX. It is truly intended to be and succeeds at being the mind control TV that sci-fi movies depict. Only when we watched those movies it looked too obvious for it to ever happen. - bluevillage, on 08/15/2008, -0/+2Almost 60K signers now.
- Sardonic2U, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2Their name should be FUX news
- buckpower, on 08/15/2008, -0/+2Are you calling Sean Hannity a transvestite?
- Incrimin8in, on 08/31/2008, -0/+1wow these fox guys are simply amazing the way the dig there own graves :)
- eclecticpassion, on 10/04/2008, -0/+1"he is..get this..a CIGARETTE SMOKER"
OMG!!! the OUTRAGE!!
despite being firmly anti-smoking, i am pretty sure this has little to no relevance as his ability as a president. also, perhaps i have my priorities wrong but what sounds worst to you..a smoker or someone who is pro-torture of supposed terrorists (bush i mean here), even when many of these terror suspects have been found innocent, detained indefinitely and subjected to the most vile things imaginable -check out the "waterboarding" video for a start on youtube if you don't believe me, where christopher hitchens, believing it wasn't true torture, tried it and you'll see what i mean. there is PROOF that BUSH allowed this (not pretending all republicans think this but let's note Bush is one while Obama is a Democrat) possibly to entirely innocent people. while i don't want to tar mccain automatically with the same brush, the republican party has the same policies, while also taking away civil rights etc - bsilent, on 08/16/2008, -0/+1shameful
- canadianiac, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1Fox "News" is the least objective, the most racist, the least accurate and the most sensationalistic "news" ever concocted by a bunch of right wing nutjobs! Rasmussen just lost my respect - they're in the bag with Fox!
- LastSight, on 02/15/2009, -0/+1fox.....just read his book.....
comon.... - barkway, on 08/18/2008, -0/+1What I can't wrap my head around concerning your (true) comment about people resenting intelligence is that Americans are always touting the value of an education and most would be thrilled to pieces if Johnny or Janey got a scholarship to Harvard but then when presented with candidates with just such a background, they call them "elitists"....even further, they totally ignore the fact that their sitting President went to one of the most elite private boarding schools in the country AND Yale! They apparently don't see the contradiction in their criticisms.
(posted to wrong thread initially. Sorry for reposting) - barkway, on 08/18/2008, -0/+1I have Fox channels blocked on our DirecTv. Remote skips right over them when you flip the channels. The true travesty is that those who watch them generally are less-educated so don't know any better and believe everything they hear (or have no other means of validating what hey hear due to lack of access to technology). If Fox told their viewers that pigs fly, their viewers would swear it to be the God's Honest truth.
- barkway, on 08/18/2008, -0/+1they may be lame...but millions of your fellow countrymen watch it, believe it, live it, and vote it. Frightening thought.
- barkway, on 08/18/2008, -0/+1I sure hope you're right....though honestly I have to admit that I am starting to doubt his chances given that a minority of the population is college educated and many white people who say they would have no problem voting for an AA really won't when they get in the privacy of the voting booth. Aside from that, McCain shows an unreal assurance for a man so out of touch with reality and not qualified, and this can only come from him having been told that the election is in the bag for him (ala 2000 and 2004 and the vote disparities, questions, and alleged rigging of machines).
- Rich333, on 08/26/2008, -1/+1I fail to see the problem here. All the candidates seek to gain absolute power over, to ruler over, hundreds of millions of people, the vast majority of whom do not in any way, shape, or form consent to such an imposition. The candidates are scum, by definition. Smears are the least they deserve. There ought to be news stories about John McCain raping babies, Barrack Obama worshipping the devil while torturing small animals, Chuck Baldwin serial killing hitchhikers, Bob Barr sucking off horses, and Ralph Nader firebombing homeless shelters. Let them be smeared; whether the smears are true or false, they're all still scumbags.
- trapfnder, on 08/28/2008, -0/+0Wow, Srsly, If your not part of the solution, your part of the problem.
And thats,
One To Grow On. ===***** - joandefenbaugh, on 10/26/2008, -0/+0I heard once that they consider being Fair and Balanced when they show an equal amount of each side, but not necessarily in the same interview session. Monday (pro Democrat), Friday (pro Republican). That is their idea of balanced.
How can the Allan Colmes work for this station! He is useless on Fox and should go to another station. I prefer Keith Olberman and Rachel Dorrow.
I actually like the idea of a candidate who will question the system. Repulicans act like our country is currently functioning as it should be and that to change course is negative. I don't agree. I am a Republican who is voting for Obama. Something happened to the Republican party. It just doesn't feel right. Seems like it's a bunch of far right (radical) knuckleheads that just don't get it.
My biggest beef with Fox is that even when a Democratic supporter answers a question, Fox says they didn't answer the question. I got tired of shaking my head watching this train wreck called Fox News. No more. I won't tune in to Fox News. -
