- hawkeye17, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8Bush is the biggest congenital liar ever to set foot in the Oval Office(and that's saying a LOT).
- martinjd, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6My grandpa is a full-blooded Armenian who lost multiple members of his immediate family during the genocide. He and some of his siblings were spared by leaving them at an orphanage in Lebanon, after which he came to America and was naturalized. Personally I tend to support Bush - I think he's had a lot of lose-lose situations to preside over, but it does upset me that he'd refuse to acknowledge this genocide because of political pressure from Turkey.
- IrishJoe, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Bush says that his administration doesn't do torture; they do enhanced interrogation techniques, and Turkey doesn't do genocide. What they do is enhanced population reduction techniques.

oh no, dont call it genocide! in a couple weeks you'd be calling what I've done to Iraq genocide and I HAVE DECIDED, I wont allow that! - falazmah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Is it worth it to anger one of the largest and THE most democratic Muslim country just to pass the Armenian Genocide resolution, which has been passed twice already? Well, is it? http://www.youpolls.com/details.asp?pid=689
- StellaWasADiver, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0So bascially what Bush is saying is that, yes the genocide happened but we have to deal with it later cause I don't want Turkey to be mad at me!
They shouldn't worry about the Turks, America is very valuable to them. This is a long overdue recognition. If not now? WHEN?
