FLASHBACK: Ensign Called On Clinton To Resign After Affair

thinkprogress.org — Today, Sen. John Ensign (R-NV) acknowledged having an extramarital affair with an aide, but did not indicate that he will resign. In 1998, while running for Nevada’s Senate seat against Harry Reid, Ensign called on President Clinton to resign in light of his admitted affair with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
