FBI 'covers up' file of nuclear-secrets theft

timesonline.co.uk — THE FBI has been accused of covering up a key case file detailing evidence against corrupt government officials and their dealings with a network stealing nuclear secrets. The assertion follows allegations made in The Sunday Times two weeks ago by Sibel Edmonds, an FBI whistleblower, who worked on the agency’s investigation of the network.

      Selling nuclear secrets to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, who, under THEIR reasoning would in turn sell those secrets to Iran and others... What do these people do when not completely blowing their credibility?

    "(The file) claims the government official warned a Turkish member of the network that they should not deal with a company called Brewster Jennings because it was a CIA front company investigating the nuclear black market. The official’s warning came two years before Brewster Jennings was publicly outed when one of its staff, Valerie Plame, was revealed to be a CIA agent in a case that became a cause célèbre in the US."

    In Patrick Fitzgerald's stonewalled investigation everyone claimed they did not know about Plame's role until they read about it in the newspaper. Obviously, her position was well known among the cabal long before then.

    The answer is, they're not working for us.

    I would love for some independent reporter to approach the various candidates and ask them what they believe should be done about Sibel Edmonds' substantiated claims. Their responses would be very interesting for sure.

There is something really rotten and crooked going on here and people at really high level in both parties are sitting on it.

I guess they wanted to encourage Iran to try to build a bomb so that they would have the justification to attack Iran today.

They have totally sold us out in every way, shape and form possible. when are you idiots going to wake up and realize that we aren't living in the United States of America anymore? It hasn't existed for over 60 years now.

The U.S purposefully built up the economy and war machines of pre ww1 and 2 germany and russia and we provided finance for the Bolshevik revolution. Afterwards he discovered that we were providing arms, technical, and weapons support to russia during the cold war all the way up to Vietnam. This is not science fiction or speculation. This is fact.

    Therefore, upon learning of those revalations, any piece that comes out like this makes me suspicious. Remember George Bush's grandfather selling weapons to Germany while we were at war with them? Well why should we think this nation has changed?

    Oh yeah... The conspiracy deepens... Unfortunately, we're talking about some really serious *****. Who cares about who they sold anything to. I want to know if or where they intend to use it!!!

    By covering it up, they create an avenue by which they can retrieve the stolen property through whatever means necessary.
    This just in: A government agency was robbed of some in demand product and tries to get it back before the pencil pushers and desk jockey's notice...

Why publicly out Valerie Plame while she was investigating the international black market for nuclear weapons? Why blow Brewster Jennings cover? Why did this information go no where in Congress?     • shig, on 01/21/2008, -0/+2Apparently "whatever means necessary" really means "no investigation whatsoever" to the FBI. It's not that they were pursuing a clandestine recovery effort. They were blocking any investigation into any of the perpetrators which included firing the agents that complained about other agents being active spies. If that's real life then I'm afraid we're in deep *****. Buy guns and keep them loaded.
