FACT CHECK: Ned Lamont Does Not Support 'Immediate Withdrawal' From Iraq

thinkprogress.org — Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-CT), and others are appearing on national TV and claiming that Ned Lamont supports "immediate withdrawal" from Iraq. Lamont, however, has explicitly said that he supports a one-year timetable for withdrawal. That postion is supported by about 60% of the American public. (Video)
