- insomniac8400, on 10/01/2008, -0/+12Those are some seriously lame answers.
First Alaska is the nothing like the rest of the country. They don't have income tax or property tax and give out 2 thousand dollar oil profit checks to all the citizens each year.
Having a job that deals with oil(assuming that experience did involve making real informed decisions) does not make one an energy expert, especially in a time when we are trying to get away from oil.
And the national guard thing has already proven to have been an empty title with no real involvement in the national guard.
If people are going to claim she has energy experience, ask her why the southeast US is having supply problems. She should be able to give a very informed answer if she really knows about oil. - floridiot2, on 10/01/2008, -0/+7Wait.. I wanna hear from the lady who never thought about if the world was flat or not.

"What has Sarah Palin done?"
Cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck. - Dantewolfe, on 10/01/2008, -0/+7Her answer made me vomit in my mouth a little bit. ;-(
- TheJimid, on 10/03/2008, -0/+5I can honestly say I hate her more then Rosie O'Donnell.
- mmmtoblerone, on 10/01/2008, -0/+5What worries me is that it proves that there are people out there who will defend her as a great pick (and vote for her) even after all the horrendous interviews. They not only believe the talking points, they believe them enough to argue them on national TV. That's scary because I would have thought anyone would have concerns at this point.
- mebble, on 10/01/2008, -0/+5Is this woman a host because to some she might appear sexy? Or is it that strident whiney voice? Or that clueless expression on her face? Is this the lambda Palin supporter, a clueless bimbo who's been "cultivated" to believe that so long as it looks good and feels good it is, therefore, good? Cultivated to resent knowledge, to resent age, to resent experience ... because it's so threatening?
This is what America has become. A bimbo bozo culture filled with little challenged boys and girls, girls dressed like sluts and boys like 6 year olds in baseball caps and pumped up pick-up trucks sporting "Support Our Troops" stickers on the gas caps.
Perhaps we need a new Depression after all. And maybe even another World War. We need to weed out the chaff. With Palin and "Pop Quiz" in office that's the sort of future we can look forwards to.
And it will still be someone else's fault. - gwoydean, on 10/02/2008, -0/+5I think Hasselbitch got the "Alaska is a microcosm of the United States" thing from Couric's interview with Palin (where she couldn't name a single publication and then went on to accuse others for looking down on Alaska).
What a sheep. Just like most Republican mouth breathers. - Sogladtobehere, on 10/02/2008, -0/+5This lady is almost as smart as Governor Palin. Seriously, why would it even be news that she fumbled on her own *****?
- evelynvesta, on 10/02/2008, -0/+4This chick is odious. What is it about the new breed of Republicans.? It's as if they all qualify for the reverse of Mensa--no one allowed with an IQ over 90. Why is this person on the View? Babs might like a counterpoint but most of us find her repulsive. She should have been fired over the RNC convention speech when she slandered Michele Obama regarding her appearance on the View No class, no brains, no professional integrity. What exactly were her qualifications?
- solstice21, on 10/03/2008, -0/+4Ooo I'm convinced. Way to go blondie.
/sarcasm - M4dC0ns3rv4tive, on 10/01/2008, -1/+4Watching the ladies of "The View" is like getting a lap dance..... The minute they open their mouths I lose all interest.
- Timetheos, on 10/01/2008, -0/+3As heard on the radio:
"I think we should make the rest of the country like Alaska: make the Oil companies pay 85% of our taxes." - ligyron, on 10/01/2008, -0/+3The sad thing is I don't think Palin is qualified to be VP, but I could still list most if not all the legitimate reasons why one would believe she is qualified, and I'm not even from America nor do I host of my own TV show that discusses politics in front of a live audience...
Who gave that girl permission to talk? - XCAFO, on 10/02/2008, -0/+3Elisabeth spouts angry diatribes against anyone but McCain, and isn't even close to being as informed as Sarah Palin---and that is saying something. She always becomes angry and overshouts anyone trying to make a point. She acts like a spoiled child having a tantrum anytime someone disagrees with her. AND FYI Elisabeth, Navy lieutenants don't lead brigades. McCain has very little military leadership experience, a fighter pilot doesn't have much of a crew, unlike a pilot of a C-130 or even a commercial airplane. I liked it when her husband was in Arizona playing for the Cardinals, because she wasn't on The View.
- gwoydean, on 10/02/2008, -0/+3I learned something new today. Sarah Palin is an expert in energy. And also that she had a hand in directing the National Guard at wartime (assuming that she's referring to the Iraq Conflict).
Elisabeth Hassellbitch, enlighten me some more. Please, I bet of you! - Zenham, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2"Tell me why Barack Obama is qualified then?"
First in his class. A degree in Constitutional Law (something the current administration and McCain, seemingly, have no grasp on). A professor, which means he's had time expressing views in front of people with a degree of eloquence and presence. A community leader. Experience from the Senate (and he actually knows the Constitutional role of the VP isn't to RULE the Senate (as per Palin's comments in the debate), but ONLY to provide tiebreaker votes).
Oh yeah, and he's not a slack-jawed fundie dittohead ***** who believes the Bible literally only because she can't comprehend science, and instead raped and pillaged the treasury of both the Fed and the state and city she was elected to SERVE. - preneel, on 10/02/2008, -0/+2This woman is a clueless wonder and a front for Fix News. She just regurgitates what she hears.
- xac00fm, on 10/01/2008, -1/+2palin is dumber than a mule... ps .. do witches wear lipstick?
- themage78, on 10/02/2008, -0/+1She's a host because she took off her clothes on survivor.
- tsmallm, on 10/04/2008, -0/+1I had no idea that Palin was an expert on energy. We don't need her as VP we need to send her to MIT to help figure out the new source of energy we are going to use after oil runs out!
- mebble, on 10/02/2008, -0/+1So why is she wearing clothes on the show?

Please help digg this anti-Palin site up - nicktheawesome, on 10/03/2008, -0/+1The only reason Hasselbeck thinks she would be a good President is because Palin is a woman. These (stupid) women believe that solely because a woman would be in charge, that every wrong would be righted and all of a sudden world peace would fall into place. How can these people be so stupid?
- Genecalypse, on 10/03/2008, -0/+1Wow shes hot and all but deep down shes a stupid hick. It's sad to think people encase themselves in this bubble to almost blind themselves from everything, in this case Palins experience, or lack there of.
- slavetolust, on 10/03/2008, -0/+1Talk about a group of annoying women.
- macdoodle, on 10/03/2008, -0/+1THE REAL ANSWER:
She's all we had. - CouchTomato, on 10/02/2008, -0/+1Along the same lines, whether a candidate can run for Presidency should be based on how many crises has a candidate handled in the past and how well were they handled. Also, how imaginative is a candidate in anticipating trouble? SP obviously has a long way to go on these fronts.
- johnnr2, on 10/01/2008, -1/+2Palin/Hasselbeck '12? :-/
- mcgolis, on 10/03/2008, -0/+0These three minutes are like a car wreck, you don't want to look, but you just can't help yourself
