If it were Obama hanging there, the owner of the house would be jailed immediately for a hate crime. Every alphabet network would be there, broadcasting this as a hate crime.

In this case, the double standard is so blatant that it's sickening. Mr. Morrisette is a fool. He ought to hang Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters in effigy also. Bet the cops would be "urged" to take action then.

The unhappy history lesson is this: after a hard-left "Dear Leader" takes over, his most ardent and vocal sympathizers are among his early casualties.
Past Dear Leaders like Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Hussein, and others actually distrusted their noisiest sympathizers as potentially embarrassing loose cannons. Even so, each Dear Leader did find some political use for such sympathizers, as follows:
1) Arresting them and charging them with various and imaginary "crimes against the state"
2) Show-trying them for said "crimes against the state"
3) "Finding" them guilty
4) Sentencing them to "appropriate" and "just" punishments
5) Blindfolding them and marching them before firing squads
6) Blowing their brains out
7) Harvesting their organs (optional)
8) Bulldozing their remains into mass graves
9) Instilling a perpetual state of terror into all surviving subjects
10) Permanently galvanizing Dear Leader's grip on power

Sounds like sharia law in the USA doesn't it. Everyone scoffs at the idea, but we aren't as far as we think are we.
The next door neighbor should be able to hang an Obama if they so choose.
I for one am sick of the racism accusations or even any mention of it. Ancient history and a convenient excuse or leg up if you are a minority.
