- wjreid388, on 01/31/2008, -0/+2With Edwards marginalized by our "gatekeeper" media, I will endorse Obama and hope that Edwards has a voice in the Obama administration. My preference would be Attorney General. As a plaintiffs attorney he is qualified better than several past holders of that office.
- edgery, on 01/31/2008, -0/+2Fortunately, Edwards is already on the ballot in my state and I will cast my vote for him 2/12. No, I'm not wasting my vote. This is the primary, when I have a chance to choose who I think would be the best standard bearer for the Democratic Party and the best leader of our country. Come the GE, I'll vote for the nominee but for now, I'm sticking with my first choice.
- toddcat, on 02/01/2008, -0/+1The whole notion of wasting a vote is another myth propagated by the neo-liberal loons; how can one waste one of the greatest civic privileges? I get tired of people saying ooh, that's throwing away your vote. If you believe in a candidate, you're making your personal endorsement of their point-of-view. Whether they are likely to win is exactly the sort of irrelevant handicapping that the corporate media likes to do. You'll note it has NOTHING to do with the importance of a message or their value, but simply...they can't win. Well, if I vote for them, maybe they can. If someone else votes for them, if someone el...if someon..if someon.....if someone.....so don't let anyone EVER tell you you're "wasting" your vote. There is no such thing.
- JoAnnCr, on 02/04/2008, -0/+0Voting for anyone else would be a wasted vote. Edwards was the only true candidate. He engineered the plans, he stood by the message and he is an honest, decent person. Every other candidate pales when compared with John Edwards.
New bumper sticker: "Don't blame me. I voted for Edwards!"
