Edwards Story Isn’t Going To Fade Away - Say Anything

sayanythingblog.com — The media is trying real hard not to bring up the Edwards hotel visit to his girlfriend and his baby, but it still not going away in some circles. Is the media sitting on this story because there ’s still a possibility that Obama might pick Edwards to be his VP?

    • swrostmore, on 08/01/2008, -3/+3Lets assume there is a liberal media conspiracy to not report about Edwards possibly having a mistress until Obama picks a VP. Wouldn't the report coming out AFTER Obama picks Edwards as VP be infinitely more damaging to the Obama campaign than if the story came out now, when Edwards has nothing to do with Obama?

      Sounds more like a neocon media conspiracy to me, honestly.
      • LoneRanger85, on 08/01/2008, -1/+4Suddenly there's a conspiracy? Why does their always have to be a conspiracy? This is news. And it was reported when it happened. Had they held onto the story, THEN I would have believed it to be a conspiracy. The MSM aren't reporting it because of their MINDSET. Obama is their guy and they don't want this getting out. As you recall, Newsweek spiked the stained blue dress story too, until Drudge reported it. It is media corruption, not a conspiracy.
