- Ifritdave, on 01/30/2008, -1/+31if they actually ask those questions i will be shocked, and if any of the neocon candidates actually ANSWER the questions, i might just ***** myself on the couch.
- rawraw04, on 01/30/2008, -0/+29Its about time the economy gets some lime light!
- hardprotein, on 01/30/2008, -3/+18Let see who is the man!! I bet its Ron Paul!!
- Curlz31, on 01/30/2008, -3/+17Assuming they give Ron a chance, he is going to p0wn them
- opt4freedom, on 01/30/2008, -3/+16Ron Paul + (Economics + Foreign Policy) = Schoolin' for Neocons!

- SonOfFreedom, on 01/30/2008, -0/+11My choice is "What is the role of government?". More specifically the federal government and it's relationship to the states.

- v1productions, on 01/30/2008, -1/+8We should also ask about corporate media. Why does corporate media control elections? Linked at

- thornysun, on 01/30/2008, -0/+6they'll ask those questions when pigs fly
- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -1/+7You are right he would own them, but (unfortunately) that's a rather large assumption.
- PrivatePyle, on 01/30/2008, -1/+7Question on: Economy
The question of monetary reform is seldom brought up during the Presidential debates although I believe it is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. Since 1913 the citizens of this country have allowed the Board of Governors at the Federal Reserve to control our money supply by raising or lowering interest rates while our government must borrow money at interest. Would you support the repeal of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and place the responsibility of our money supply in the hands of Congress either through a fiat currency based on the budget of Congress or a gold and silver standard?
I don't know who submitted this question, but it is by far the best question on the list. No way in hell will it be asked, but I sure would like to see it. - vsujohn2, on 01/30/2008, -1/+6Though it would probably be the greatest ***** you've ever had. And If they did answer those questions there'd be a lot of people collectively ***** themselves. Like the members of the Federal Reserve might cry out "Are you ***** me???"
- jonahtrainer, on 01/30/2008, -4/+9We need to RunToGold.com as fast as possible. With the latest H.3 Federal Reserve report the entire US banking system is in imminent danger of a systemic collapse. They are currently printing out of thin air about 10% per month of the existing money supply to prevent bank runs. See the site http://www.RunToGold.com for more information.
- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -1/+6Americans need to wake up to the danger we face from the debasement of our currency. So far I have not been able to locate any account of any meeting between any other candidate and the fed chairman.
- easyfnmoney, on 01/30/2008, -0/+5I wonder who will win the debate tonight.. Lets ask Rudy!
- zackmario, on 01/30/2008, -0/+4I can see tomorrows top DIGG now - PIGS FL!!!
- MindStalker, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3Wow, the most green I've seen seen in a thread, I feel loved :)
- JKap, on 01/30/2008, -1/+4How does an American Empire of 700+ military bases in 130+ countries affect the U.S. government's budget? Answer: see $9 trillion+ national debt.
- MindStalker, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3HAHA, checkout the Democrat debate, almost all the questions are about NASA, CNN will HAVE to filter out even the most top rated (click most popular) to limit it to just one NASA question.. WTF is up with that.
- zackmario, on 01/30/2008, -0/+2CNN HAS to ask some hard hitting questions tonight. The whole point of the Politico site was to collect questions that are on voters minds. A very interesting analysis can be made by mining the republican question vs the democrat questions.
- v1productions, on 01/30/2008, -3/+5Regarding the economy - I want to know why, when our Constitution says Congress authorizes our money, why we don't use a coin setup to eliminate having to pay interest to the federal reserve. We could make $ 5 coins, $ 50 dollar coins, $ 100 coins - just like the paper money but in coin form so we eliminate having to pay corporate bankers interest and we would keep our wealth.
- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -0/+2I hope Americans are watching on this night!
- vptimmy, on 01/30/2008, -1/+3People keep talking about carrying gold and silver in their pocket. We just need the dollar to be backed by gold and silver like 50 years ago people.
http://www.answers.com/topic/silvercertificate-jpg ... Notice there is no Federal Reserve on this dollar? This is a silver certificate. All money use to be like this. - Gene1200, on 01/30/2008, -0/+2Helicopter Ben inflates further today - dollar drops like a rock.

This is all that need to be done. We do not need gold and silver coins in our pockets. Just need our money backed in gold and silver. Notice no Federal Reserve is printed on the currency. - Zapparulez, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1I am so fed up with these jokers. If they ask these questions, most of them will duck and dodge. Bunch of frauds!!!
- Neomatrixus, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1like they'll let this one get on front page. Ha ha
- rexblade, on 01/31/2008, -0/+1they talked about it.
- vptimmy, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1We do not need $100 coins. We need a $100 bill with a gold note on it. This says the the government has $100 value of gold in reserve and backs the value of the dollar. Just like 50 years ago. Google gold and silver certificates.
- Spudster, on 01/30/2008, -2/+3It's great to see global warming isn't even close to being asked. It's sad how little discussion this very real issue has seen in both the democratic and republican debates.
- libertysilver, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Fed cut interest rates again today. We are in for a heap of trouble. Invest in silver quickly. We need a sound currency.
- DaveKnowsTalent, on 01/31/2008, -0/+1In a nutshell.... The Federal Reserve is a private corporation that is robbing us blind - Not a government entity that is accountable to Congress!
Granted, Congress is so crooked and corrupt, even if they did regulate the Federal Reserve, it wouldn't matter - Ron Paul is right in wanting to dismantle the Federal Reserve! - vptimmy, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1http://www.answers.com/topic/silvercertificate-jpg ...
Notice no statement of Federal Reserve on this dollar? This is a silver certificate. - DaveKnowsTalent, on 01/31/2008, -0/+1Because most people are to wrapped up in being entertained, instead of educated - Government, Hollywood & corporate America has done an excellent job the past 50 years to keep people misinformed and otherwise - STUPID
- rexblade, on 01/31/2008, -0/+1Well once again i am ticked off at the obvious agenda of a "news" channel. Now in the post debate they are skirting the few comments that Ron Paul got to make even though they were the only straight to the point answers given. I hope its as obvious to the rest of America as it is to me.
- RP4408, on 01/30/2008, -0/+0And then there were four!
