Please, God, deliver us from politicians, especially from Speaker Pelosi and her ilk. If most of the price of oil/barrel is driven by those trading in "futures" why can't she realize the potential of drilling more ASAP? It's not about the next barrel coming out of the well -- it's about the "anticipated" price somewhere in the future. Is there anyone there who could explain this to her? I swear, the Speaker and her caucus have decided to do whatever is possible to win more seats in November and retake the White House no matter what -- even if she destroys our economy and so many families in the process. Do the people not see this? It's all about the election!! Could you please do this country a huge favor and put a sock in it. You're appallingly annoying, you epitomize the problem with women being given a little power, and you feel the need to try to prove how tough you are. You aren't. You're an embarrassment to your country, your state, and your party, not to mention the position you now occupy.
