- aerostar, on 12/01/2007, -0/+6I don't live in New Orleans, but I am a few hours drive away... and I WILL go to the appeal trial there... December 3rd at the Federal Courthouse, just off Canal Street.
- freecon, on 11/30/2007, -0/+6Hey anybody in New Orleans- Go to the hearing at the 5th Circuit.
- johnny2k, on 12/01/2007, -0/+5victorypup, here is one of the most telling parts of the story indicating how far in the Sewer our Justice System has descended: "As WND has previously reported, Andy Ramirez, chairman of the Friends of the Border Patrol, has gone so far as to charge that Sutton and Kanof suborned perjury by allowing Aldrete-Davila to tell his patently false story at trial."
- AThoughtOrTwo, on 12/01/2007, -0/+3The biggest travesty of justice in recorded history. The sentence was heightened BECAUSE the agents USED GUNS! DUH! They were/are law enforcement personnel! Sutton and Sanchez AT LEAST deserve prison time, NOT the BP agents.
And WHY hasn't Bush pardoned them??? This whole thing STINKS!
Aldrete-Davila should be in a deep, dark dungeon. Wonder what he will do when his 5 Mil runs out. Oh, that's right - he'll only get a couple Mil, lawyers will take the rest. Then of course, he has the kickbacks to his best buds. He might be smuggling pretty soon now... - inactive, on 12/01/2007, -0/+2Justice would be served and the gene pool would be improved in a small way if sutton and sanchez shared adjoining nooses on the nearest tree to the courthouse.
