Doyle: ‘If Savage Wants to Find a Moron, Look in the Mirror'

thinkprogress.org — Last week, right wing radio host Michael Savage claimed that autism is “a fraud” where “99 percent of the cases, it’s a brat who hasn’t been told to cut the act out.” This morning on the House floor, Rep. Mike Doyle (D-PA) responded to Savage’s comments.

    He always claims himself to be an education man of the sciences.
    I can not believe that such a person would lump the Autistic
    into the same category as A.D.H.D.
    Not just that, but to say the additional comments that Mike Doyle quotes.

    Savage says a lot of wacky things, but this is just bizarre.

    (maybe I'm just growing older and more sensitive to tasteless jokes/comments. Additionally, In
    my profession, I work with the Autistic -so I may be bias)
