- Insightful, on 08/29/2008, -3/+8Using that Fox logic, Illinois is pretty much near the center of America so Obama must be a better President than the candidates from the fringe states like Alaska and Arizona! I win!
Also, Alaska is too cold and Arizona is too hot. And both are "A" states and do not fully represent the alphabets. I win again using Fox logic!! :) - The_Wallbanger, on 08/29/2008, -1/+4It's a FACT: Alaska is 22 years younger than John McCain.
- TheVigilante, on 08/30/2008, -0/+2I slapped my forehead in disbelief. What an idiotic statement.
- hawkeye17, on 08/29/2008, -0/+2Steve Doocy is one of the dumbest human beings on television as evidenced by that statement. I mean....huh??
- inactive, on 08/30/2008, -0/+1Next door? Isn't there, like, an ocean there?
- inactive, on 08/30/2008, -0/+1Obama running for president IS taking on corruption.
- DekarCorvus, on 08/29/2008, -1/+2It really makes you wonder why else McCain selected her.
with rising tensions with russia, and the threat of a possible cold war, having pull in alaska will help him immensly.
she has very little political experience, nor is she will known to the rest of the US, thus doesn't bring a huge following with her.
The only other thing, is he could try to capitolize on having a female on his ticket, to sway voters upset with obama for not adding Hillary.
Otherwise i see very little else she offers him from a strategic standpoint... - jhbarr, on 08/30/2008, -0/+1She should check her own ethics or did you miss how she might have to step down as governor because she tried to have her ex-brother-in-law fired during a custody dispute. Also, nice talking points. Did you get the same fax as Steve Doocy?
- jbenson2, on 08/29/2008, -6/+1Palin has a record of accomplishment that Senator Obama simply cannot match. Governor Palin has spent her time in office shaking up government in Alaska and actually achieving results — whether it's taking on corruption, passing ethics reform or stopping wasteful spending.
Senator Obama has spent his time in office running for president.
