Diplomats Echo Cheney: We Have ‘Other Priorities’ Than Service in Iraq

bodypolitik.org — The diplomats ’ reluctance to serve in Iraq parallels the attitudes of Bush and Cheney during America’s war in Vietnam. Cheney “received five deferments and did not serve in the military”; Bush served in the Texas Air National Guard, but did not fight overseas. Later, Cheney told the WP "I had other priorities in the ’60s than military service."
