Digg sells out: blocks clips from FOX News as "NSFW" and kills stories!
politics.reddit.com — Earlier today (November 15, 2007), Brave News Films (BNF) debuted FoxNewsPorn.com. Video displayed there is entirely, entirely, footage from the Fox News Channel. Just hours ago, Digg banned that domain for carrying "adult content." Digg did a deal with the Wall Street Journal yesterday. Proof that a conservative agenda is being pushed

Why does Digg censor clips from FOX News, with absolutely zero adult content (just a parody site), while allowing "The Top 20 'Side Boobs' of All-Time [Kinda NSFW]" to reach the front page?
Digg is obviously pandering to their new corporate masters...- stklaw, on 11/16/2007, -1/+1Digg gets hundreds of new articles every minute. I'm sure they don't have the time to go through every single one to block them.
That site got unlucky.

- supermanred, on 11/16/2007, -3/+9Uh, maybe the site filter doesnt like the word "porn""?
I mean, every day I read 20 stories about how fox news is an evil propoganda machine (which anyone under 50 knows already) on Digg, so as far as "bowing down to their corporate masters" perhaps you are all jumping the gun a bit.
And when did Fox or the News Corp buy DIgg? I mustve missed that article. - supermanred, on 11/16/2007, -7/+1Uh, maybe the site filter doesnt like the word "porn""?

- Lane, on 11/16/2007, -0/+2That's not the point at all, in fact its completely backwards. We Love Digg! In fact we love it so much we all hate the idea of it becoming some two bit sell out shill of itself by censoring it's own users opinions just pisses everyone off.
- martinjd, on 11/16/2007, -1/+2Wow... the intensity in the title made me the think that this would be.... interesting.
