- sherifftruman, on 10/10/2007, -18/+223Buried for lack of Dennis Kucinich as a choice.
- waterdrop, on 10/10/2007, -29/+197How the ***** is Hilary ***** Clinton winning?
- martian, on 10/10/2007, -6/+160'404' would win
- JohnInMT, on 10/10/2007, -4/+147Why leave off Kucinich & Gravel who are the only honest candidates running for the Democrats?
- whatthefu, on 10/10/2007, -23/+150Why the ***** are there so many Hillary votes?
- nymphetamine, on 10/10/2007, -105/+231This won't work on digg, or any place else on the internet, because of the ron paul spammers.
- WhiteIce89, on 10/10/2007, -0/+126USEFUL TIP: If you're making a site specifically aimed towards Diggers, you should make sure it doesn't die after 150 diggs.
- cmilki, on 10/10/2007, -16/+102Lame much?
- swrostmore, on 10/10/2007, -5/+79Ditto - How can they include Ron Paul and exclude all the lower-tier dems?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -10/+82This is a given. We all know who will win. But I'll vote and digg you anyway.
- Alex2, on 10/10/2007, -8/+78In today's news, a cat with a cheeseburger [PIC] [NSFW] [OMGWTFBBQ] on it's head has been elected President of the United States.
- professor0fruit, on 10/10/2007, -35/+100I'm not a spammer, just a supporter who thinks that we should take back our country from the special interest groups.
- Ocelot13, on 10/10/2007, -6/+66where is stewart/colbert ?!?!!?
- gregms, on 10/10/2007, -4/+61Seriously, there are not enough Hilary supporters on Digg for her to be winning. On a side note with the site being down, it kind of feels like a real election, doesn't it ;)
- mablco, on 10/10/2007, -3/+52Good job making a post specifically for Digg on a server that can't handle Digg traffic. moron.
- Skov2, on 10/10/2007, -16/+55Hilary is winning? Damn spammers...
- umilmi81, on 10/10/2007, -15/+51I support Ron Paul, but I'm not a spammer. I am energetic in my support for Paul, but only because I really believe our Empire is on the edge of a cascading failure. I honestly believe that this may very well be the last chance we get to restore our Republic, before it is plowed under by Socialism.
- TheTimmeh, on 10/10/2007, -5/+40I love Ron Paul, but insulting the other candidates degrades the election process... as if it weren't already degraded enough.
- ZennZero, on 10/10/2007, -3/+37Someone is running s script. Polls like this are utterly without value if you can vote multiple times from the same IP.
- jamesong, on 10/10/2007, -7/+41You mean Kevin Rose, right?
- christopheles, on 10/10/2007, -3/+34404 has officially won.
Why ask for digg traffic if your server can't handle it? - CannibalTom, on 10/10/2007, -2/+33digg effect wins!
- KolbyBothe, on 10/10/2007, -20/+51HILLARY HAS TAKEN THE LEAD! haha God no! pleaseeeee
- noahhoward, on 10/10/2007, -13/+40Yes votes for the woman who thinks video games cause violence, see what happens!
- Jacob, on 10/10/2007, -26/+53... you are an idiot it's not that ron paul supporters are spamming it's that there are a lot of people on the internet who like him and they will vote that way in online polls and such.
- zhenate, on 10/10/2007, -7/+34I vote 404
- 28dayslater, on 10/10/2007, -9/+35It's down. Or did George Bush just steal another ***** election?
- kingkilr, on 10/10/2007, -6/+30Its generally more difficult to multi-vote in the real world.
- conceptkid, on 10/10/2007, -13/+36how the ***** is hilary winning? We all know Digg is the internet home to Ron Paul. All the hilary stories on digg are usually bashing her. so something seems fishy....meh, Ron Paul will catch up and beat her :) so Im not worried about it
- farsight010, on 10/10/2007, -2/+25I think he was trying to say that the elected president doesn't take office until January 2009. But hey, conspiracy theories are welcome too.
- arbulus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+22Where the hell is Mike Gravel on this poll?
- meshman, on 10/10/2007, -29/+50Why isn't GWB in that list? I find it more likely that none of these people will be the President in 2008.
- CrimsonBlur, on 10/10/2007, -5/+25I'm with the other posters here. There is definitely a group of spammers manipulating the votes for Hillary and probably Ron Paul as well. There are already 790 votes and Clinton has over 50%? This story only has 77 diggs at the point those numbers were hit and I can't imagine that forum gets that many visitors normally.
And I just refreshed to find the site is dead, awesome. If this Digg voting is going to work, it has to be done on a site that can handle Digg's traffic. - satanatnmtedu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+20Data Error wins 100% of the vote.
- professor0fruit, on 10/10/2007, -12/+30woo i just voted on this a couple sec ago and Ron was destroying everyone, now I just looked back and Clinton is winning?
- aikimann, on 10/10/2007, -6/+24Who's to say it isn't actually a lot of people in support of Ron Paul? Just because a candidate you don't like seems to popular, doesn't mean the supporters are fake. I could say the same about any of the people I constantly hear on digg.
- KidVicious, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19Every candidate should be viable. That's how our elections are supposed to work. The fact that someone doesn't have billions of dollars to throw at a campaign should not be a bar to Presidency. It's disgusting.
Also, a lot of Ron Paul supporters like myself actually donate to his campaign. I'd say that qualifies as being politically active. - etruscan, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19Lame due to an overwhelming John McCain lead. Seriously... wtf.
- lukifer, on 10/10/2007, -6/+24Hear, hear. Kucinich is the only candidate besides RP with both conscience and balls.
- jussipupu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19If you're gonna put something on Digg, make sure you have the bandwidth for it! (-:
- craigob, on 10/10/2007, -3/+20Lame due to the site being down completely due to the high volume. Can't vote on a website that doesn't stay up.
- oneoverzero, on 10/10/2007, -2/+19I vote for 404!
- LucidHawk, on 10/10/2007, -3/+19Except when it's Rudy Ghouliani..
- GliTCH82, on 10/10/2007, -5/+21I don't think that's a fair statement really. Political parties themselves flip flop when it's a convenient way to make the other guy look bad. Ron Paul strikes me as a real conservative. Remember back when being a conservative meant actually conserving, as in not spending, not overextending and not ***** up our lives with shady government?
- MalDON, on 10/10/2007, -2/+17First rule of online polling: Make sure your server can handle the load.
- card51short, on 10/10/2007, -23/+37yeah because ron paul supporters are the only ones getting really politically active.
Most hillary/obama supporters have no idea why they support them. They see black and they see female and say "it's time for a change I guess"
nevermind that both want to continue the war and obama's even talking about nuking pakistan.
Great candidates! - xGrill, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13"Voters: 4682. You may not vote on this poll"
very lame. If digg wanted to have a poll, then it should be set up like the API contest - LeeJunFan, on 10/10/2007, -6/+19I think it's mostly because the Ron Paul supporters are more driven, so they jump at any chance to vote for RP, while other guys supporters aren't bothering with voting until they think it counts, in the real elections. Only then will we really know where everyone stands.
What I don't get is what the non RP supporters have against him so, he does seem to stand for everything that made America what it is today. We've traded life, liberty and the pursuit for happiness into death overseas, a near police state, and pusuit for oil and terrorists in countries they don't exist until we make them.
RP has a problem with the fact that we go around making enemies out of allies now, Usama, Saddam, and even the Sheik were our allies at one time. If they hate us simply because we're free, then they've struck a winning blow, because since 9/11 that Freedom we had isn't so prominent any more. - dattaway, on 10/10/2007, -9/+22They are using a Diebold voting machine. The paid results from our sponsors will be back online after a reboot.
- lukifer, on 10/10/2007, -9/+21We didn't elect him the first two times either, so why not?

What is Digg?
