Detroit mayor says he won't resign
usatoday.com — Mayor Kilpatrick said he won't resign because of the scandal - papers released Wednesday concern an $8.4 million settlement between the city and two former police officers who alleged they were fired or forced to resign for investigating claims that he used his security unit to cover up his extramarital affair.
