Fiscal transparency and accountability was a HUGE part of the 2006 elections and, just like their promise to get out of Iraq, the Dem's have not held true to their campaign platforms.
- NateDog, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2There's a link in the artile to find out how your rep responded. Flooding our reps expressing our outrage at not openly providing this information is the only way to make them change...
- carlosglz, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I agree... I'm independent but lean progressive and vote more for the person rather than the party. But now I'm starting to believe we are voting for two sides of the same corrupt coin. I can't believe that my Representative Henry Waxman didn't respond to CNN's request.
I'm glad there are reporters still out there that are not blinded by party politics and can call ***** when they see it. This is starting to make me wonder why the dems caved in so easily to letting the war continue... my gut is that they're taking in just as many donations from companies profiting from the war as the republicans... oh wait... my gut is right:
