- DFF777, on 04/23/2008, -7/+59It doesn't surprise me. Go to Google Trends and compare a graph between Ron Paul and John McCain. Dr. Paul, despite the MSM blackout, and McCain being presumptive nominee, is still neck and neck with McCain in internet searches.
- imacommi, on 04/23/2008, -2/+47It's refreshing to know that 16% of my fellow PA rebulicans are as fed up with this crap as I am. Ron Paul 08!
- liberteebell, on 04/23/2008, -5/+49This is excellent news! Maybe it's only a protest vote, maybe people are actually waking up to the mess we have in our country. While the others are bickering over minutiae and promising more Big Government, Ron Paul is the only one who is talking about the economic mess our country is in and he has been talking about it for years. Read his own words. You'll be amazed!
- inurb, on 04/23/2008, -2/+40I was glad to go out and vote for RP yesterday.
- inactive, on 04/23/2008, -5/+40Everyone get a copy of the Ron's Manifesto and start reading. Then, let's start doing!
- inactive, on 04/23/2008, -2/+35This will really stick in the craw of the bury bunch!
It is going to be a long summer for John and the McCaniacs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjauAv6I-E8 - Meekus, on 04/23/2008, -3/+36I'm willing to bet if the MSM didnt keep reporting Ron Paul as being out of the race every chance they got, he would of done even better. Either way, 16% of PA voters agree that we must follow the US Constitution, that government is too big, that we are spending ourselves into oblivion, and that we should hold our personal liberty and freedom as sacred as they were given to us by our Creator. For that, I am proud. Despite this media blackout, people still heard RP's message and thought "What's going on here?".
- veeew, on 04/23/2008, -2/+32What's more disturbing is that the media continues to have the audacity to show images and results of McCain...and HUCKABEE - who is not even in the race anymore! Yet they completely ignore Ron Paul. Where is the FEC to stop this crime? No folks, we don't live in America anymore; this is not the land of the free. This place is run by totalitarians who will stop at nothing to have total control, especially in this absolutely rigged circus of an "election". This is not merely anger over the "results" on my part, this is absolute disgust at the unfairness of this sham. We must keep fighting, though. We should not go down without a fight in the face of this tyranny. Soldiers, arm up!
- veeew, on 04/23/2008, -2/+32McCain...what a joke. I would NEVER vote for McCain (and millions of other Republicans will not either). We are hoping for a Ron Paul landslide at the convention with the delegates, but if for some reason that doesn't end up happening, let Obama or Hillary win. The GOP needs to crash and burn, and apparently so does this country for people to finally wake up. I honestly know maybe two people that actually support McCain and I think they might have some serious brain malfunctions. I can't figure out why ANYONE would ever vote for McCain. But enough about the biggest loser in this race, let's keep on working for freedom and bring Dr. Paul all the way to the convention with flying colors, despite the media blackout about him. The media is crashing and burning also and it's a beautiful sight to see.
- mkauai, on 04/23/2008, -2/+28Way to GO!!! More states remain that need our support, and the r3VOLution March is July 12, 2008 in DC - Not to be missed
- tajitj, on 04/23/2008, -2/+26That is saying more about McCain. 25% of his party voted for somone else. Probably another 10% switched parties to vote for a Dem. He has not base. Who is going to be motivated by McCain besides right leaning Dems and war hawks.
- blakmira, on 04/23/2008, -3/+27Ron Paul was beating McCain 5 to 1 in PA. Then mysteriously, he began losing votes...
VOTE COUNT FRAUD in PA - Armstrong County in Pennsylvania: Ron Paul was at 71% in Armstrong County, then mysteriously lost 114 votes and went down to 15%.
Vote tally with 13% reporting:
McCain - 118
Paul - 524
Vote tally with 48% reporting:
McCain - 2,063
Paul - 409
Wow. How does a candidate lose votes? - juankovo, on 04/23/2008, -4/+24First, if voter turnout was low and that makes Paul's 16% equal to 3% during a "normal election" that should mean that McCain's 73% would be equal to what, 14%? Your math doesn't make sense to me. http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results
Second, it was a three-man race. Huckabee was also on the ballot and he got 11%. These are people that a) don't like McCain or Paul and wanted to express their dislike for the available choices, or b) like Huckabee and don't care that he dropped out.
Third, Ron Paul beat Chris Peden by more than a 2-1 margin in Texas: 70.2% to 29.8%. The fact that the Texas GOP *ran a challenger against an incumbent Republican* in the first place is a slap in the face to Paul. http://www.ronpaulforcongress.com/ - nwind1, on 04/23/2008, -1/+20Oh, you mean the Republicans voted yesterday too??? I checked all the MSM wondering how many even showed up and, funny thing, no where was there any indication that a Republican primary had taken place. I assumed that meant Ron Paul did way too well to report in spite of being "the invisible candidate". Hang in their people! Make a miracle happen! Take Ron Paul delegates to the convention. Tell the RNC that we are mad as hell and we won't take it any more!!
- inactive, on 04/23/2008, -3/+22If Obama and Clinton got the coverage Paul gets they would not be in double digits.
We are laughing at people like you who continue to come into every Ron Paul thread.
You either know he's going to be president or you are obsessed with him and compelled to reply.
In either case, thanks for your interest, it proves that you know Ron Paul is a strong candidate or you would have moved on by now! - stfucupcake, on 04/23/2008, -0/+19Union County for Ron Paul!
- momto7, on 04/23/2008, -3/+2127% of the Pa Republican voters showed yesterday they are not happy with McCain as a choice.
How will they vote in the general election?..Most will never vote for McCain.
google "IOUSA" if you can handle the truth, - d03boy, on 04/23/2008, -1/+19McCain is teh fail
- americangoy, on 04/23/2008, -3/+19I am still seething that, first, the media "experts" and pundits declared:
"GRAVEL, RON PAUL ARE FRINGE CANDIDATES!"
and then ceased all coverage of them, effectively making a self fulfilling prophecy.
And people call this a democracy? - blakmira, on 04/23/2008, -0/+16Triple that percentage and then you might have the actual number of votes before Diebold tallied the results. See my post for Armstrong County results below where votes mysteriously disappeared.
- amy31415, on 04/23/2008, -2/+17The voter turnout statement is simply not true. Both Democrats and Republicans turned out in record numbers, it was all over the news. Before making a conclusion, perhaps you should check the premise upon which you are basing it.
As for being laughed out of the country, yes they would, they're both running aggressive, expensive campaigns and get massive amounts of media coverage. Paul never has. And the fact that he "wound down the campaign" yet still made a substantial dent in McCain's votes is telling. Over 125k people voted for RP, over 91k voted for Huckabee, who has actually dropped out. 25% of the GOP does not want McCain. How's that going to bode for him in November? - kemp34, on 04/23/2008, -2/+16Daily Paul, Youtube, now you come to Digg? Pajeff2 is a serious anti-paul troll...
- extreme2006, on 04/23/2008, -0/+14the fact that the "presumptive nominee" couldn't even get 3 out of 4 people says something. The fact 27% of the Republicans voted against the candidate that the media has shoved down our throats also says a lot about how fractured the GOP is as they have moved away from core Conservative principals. People would rather vote for Huckabee that isn't even running than McCain. Ron Paul got 128,000 votes and over 1 million nation-wide now which makes you wonder what would happen if this was actually a level playing field.
- stfucupcake, on 04/23/2008, -0/+14See you there!
- juankovo, on 04/23/2008, -1/+15When people perceive a race to be close, they are MUCH more likely to vote. The Democratic race is close, therefore many more people showed up. Most people are not motivated enough politically to vote for their candidate if they expect that another candidate will win by a landslide.
- Cleaner44, on 04/23/2008, -2/+16Just say no to McCan't, the kinda sorta Conservative!
- nikkisaurus, on 04/23/2008, -4/+17Do you know what a 'campaign' means? Maybe you should read these articles:

http://www.collegian.psu.edu/archive/2008/03/26/pa ...
Ron Paul talked to a lot of people in PA - and yes, he does give a *****. :) - Jimmyb207, on 04/23/2008, -3/+15It doesn't make any sense at all and almost flies in the face of logic. After what this country has been through the past eight years, how anybody with an IQ above 60 could vote for a warpig like John Mccain is beyond me. This Presidential election is yet another sham. The electronic vote machines were designed for one thing in mind, to throw votes and elections. It's painfully obvious now that the people have lost their voice in America. The money is doing the talking and corporate America is in complete control. Were all just going through the motions and the election is nothing more than illusion. Just a carefully choreographed corporate dance celebrating the death of Democracy.
- blakmira, on 04/23/2008, -2/+14You mean 16% reported by Diebold.
- Yeshuas, on 04/23/2008, -2/+13The Revolution marches on. I wonder what he would if not for media blackout and voter fraud?
- inactive, on 04/23/2008, -1/+12It is a long time between now and September. We still have the egde that time has given us. Time for more people to wake up and time for the Senators to slip up and expose their agenda. If you want war, depression, inflation, and debt, any of the Senators will get you there, especially the rookie Senator from Illinois who has no leadership skills, no economic expertise and even though he was given the chair of a foreign relations subcommittee in the Senate he never once convened it, I suppose because he didn't want to be exposed as a foreign policy mental midget.
- XanderDee, on 04/23/2008, -0/+10You may want to share this with your friends cuz there is no other way people will see it. It no longer comes up on a search on digg.
- inactive, on 04/23/2008, -2/+12Shall we see how many people "care" in July?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjauAv6I-E8
Do you think that you can be there to count the people and pretend it doesn't matter?
Do you think that by September McManiac will still be the presumptive nominee?
There is was and will be only one candidate who has the expertise and ability to lead and he is not a Senator. - ivandir, on 04/23/2008, -1/+11My dad voted for Ron Paul. I told him all about he abuse the MSM gave him and he changed his mind right away.
- inactive, on 04/23/2008, -1/+11Do you realize how many people that is? Most Republicans stayed home because the media said there was no contest.
- GhostyBoy, on 04/23/2008, -2/+11I just read the comment without reading the name just now and though it was a pro-Paul guy just pointing out the logical reason why we got a bigger chunk of the vote (talking about the enthusiasm etc.). I didn't even notice it was onetimer until you pointed out that Israel crap that has nothing to do with his comment.
- inactive, on 04/23/2008, -0/+9Given the fact McManiac gets 100% of the media attention you would think he could garner a bigger vote total.
Tell me, will you be there in July? I would love to see you have a look at what real Americans look like.Up close and personal. - inactive, on 04/23/2008, -0/+9If there is any way possible for me to get there I will. Right now the plan is to take my motorhome , cover it with Ron Paul for President signs and drive it to DC from western Kansas.
I have had some e-mail communication which indicates a great deal of support for this and I will be the one with an ear to ear grin you couln't slap off of my face when you get there. - XanderDee, on 04/23/2008, -0/+8Yes it's called those who vote choose nothing those who count choose everything.
- XanderDee, on 04/23/2008, -1/+9And that is why DIGG has stopped this post from becoming popular. That is why the media will stop him he must not be allowed to awaken the slaves. If he does how will the Federal Reserve get paid interest for printing money.
You may want to share this with your friends cuz there is no other way people will see it. It no longer comes up on a search on digg. - inactive, on 04/23/2008, -3/+11AWWWWWW Hortnon, still can't stay away from Ron Paul threads, can you?
So good to see that you are still so compelled to write about him and try to put your own negative spin on the fact he is still in it and can still win it.
Can I count on you to be there in July?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjauAv6I-E8 - inactive, on 04/23/2008, -0/+7Cut back on the rhetoric?
Nothin' but the facts in my post. What do you pretend is rhetoric? - inactive, on 04/23/2008, -2/+9So you are stilll in all of the Ron Paul threads, does that mean that you know he's still in it and can win it? It must be, because if you thought he would not win you would have moved on to someone else. The mere fact you are still following Ron Paul and posting about him means you know he is still a power to be reckoned with.
Will I see you in July?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjauAv6I-E8
???????????????????????????????????????? - inactive, on 04/23/2008, -2/+9I guess you forgot about his 70% win over Peden, the guy you said would win?
LMAO!
Why are you still posting in Ron Paul threads? You have already proved you know nothing about the man and even less about politics. - rexblade, on 04/23/2008, -1/+7Yeah what mission to go out of their way to attack the only true peace candidate who doesn't pander or make money off bombs, oil, or shady back room deals, and doesn't consider his morals as disposable fashion accessories. Way to go trolls! Maybe after the election you can move on to beating up nice little old ladies again or mugging pre-schoolers?
- inactive, on 04/23/2008, -4/+10Try closer to 100, and that's just the ones I know of.I got my money's worth the second he opened his mouth at the first debate and some Americans finally heard truth from a political figure. Now his chances keep getting better and not because you are a socialist or because you think we owe something to Israel but because freedom and liberty still mean something in America. Oh, I know you don't understand it and you think it is all Ron Paul the man, a man I admire for his good works, his service to our Nation and to Americans. You think if you can knock him enough people will forget what he stands for and that is the freedom the people who began this great Republic fought for. You and people like you don't understand it because you think another way is better. More government means a better government. Less freedom means security and all that crap. You and people like you don't understand that Ron Paul has given a voice to us and we are going to use it. So spare me your verbal vomit and go find someone else to spew on because we have seen your whole dog and pony show and now all that remains is what dogs and ponies leave wherever they go.
- americangoy, on 04/23/2008, -1/+7Correct - Paul was IGNORED, with NO COVERAGE AT ALL.
In a political race, bad publicity is better than no publicity. -
