The reason Jon Stewart is funny, is he goes after both political parties. Dennis and Whoopi made their political leanings known, and I feel it hurt their comedy. Dennis Miller is still one of my favorites however.- brianmost, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Stewart takes occasional jabs at democratic politicians, but practically tonguebathes the leftist guests. He also treats leftist policy as though it were just assumed to be correct, and anything deviating from it is subject to ridicule.
Colbert is more fun because he lampoons both sides, albeit with different methods for the two.
