Dennis Kucinich's Skeleton Closet

realchange.org — He was elected as the nation's youngest mayor (of Cleveland) in 1977, and was known mostly for scrapping with established politicians, banks and just about everybody else. After he fired his police chief -- live, on the 6 O'Clock news -- he was so unpopular that he wore a bulletproof vest when he threw out the first pitch at an Indian's game.

  • SeaMowse, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1When he was mayor Dennis Kucinich's press secretary was and still is, Andy Juniewicz. When I was a kid, Andy lived 4 houses down from me. I would see Dennis over his house regularly. And me, being a kid, along with the other kids in the neighborhood, would, on occasion, decorate his car with shaving cream and other 'fun' products - silly string, jello... and I think one time, somebody (not me!) may have egged his car. But it was all in good fun - we were kids being kids. :P
  • theuniversal, on 01/25/2008, -2/+1The part of Kucinich that gets "scrappy" against the establishment is exactly the part I like. Other than a couple minor points, I read the whole article twice and still can't find any real "skeletons".
