washingtonpost.com — Titled "Review of the TALON Reporting System," the four-page memo produced in February 2006 summarizes some interim results from an inquiry ordered by then-Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld after disclosure in December 2005 that the system had collected and circulated data on anti-military protests and other peaceful demonstrations.

  • JCSaint, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2well, to be fair, billions of people out there have faith and the big a**holes that want to kill people seem to number in the tens of thousands. It's just not just religion but how it's used that's the problem.
  • fiver22, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1would that this world would see *any* religion as a threat. But, alas, all we can hope for is one religion seeing another as a threat to humanity. Big freakin' surprise, there.
    Um, if that wasn't explicit enough (for you of , um, Faith) what I'm saying here is that *religion* is the problem -yes, even YOURS.
