We're in no mortal danger and we spend more than the rest of the world combined, the military-industrial complex is working for the sake of the military-industrial complex. There's no reason to be spending almost a trillion dollars with so few physical threats to this country.

    It should be deactivated as it was during the inter-war period, put that money somewhere useful, and use what's left to ensure a speedy reactivation of the war machine if say, I don't know, we're actually in danger, so it can be put to use and maybe spur the economy.
