- feelgoodinc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+29From the context of the article:
"The same media establishment that bought the Iraq propaganda package and then claimed to be oh-so-sorry is now trying to keep out of the limelight the one presidential contender who has actually bucked the establishment and does something other than parrot government/media slogans. But that’s what the mainstream media’s purpose is: to define the nature of our political debate and make sure no fundamental questions are ever raised."
Pretty much sums up why a lot of Americans have total disdain for the media. If the populace continues to let them control the debates they way they do, the populace will be powerless to change government for the better. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19Everyone should see the speech from July 10, 2003 that Ron Paul made on the House floor. It is the famous 'NeoConned' speech. This speech was banned and you cannot buy a copy from C-SPAN. It is available on You Tube and Google Video.
- Lowry, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18I was told yesterday at 3:00 pm that they were 'working on it'
How does the second biggest website in the world take more than 24 hours to add Ron Paul to a drop down list. Give me access to the ftp and I'll change it in 5 minutes. - Reiher, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18What a great article. Yahoo was actually nice to me when I called, taking down my name and taking the time to make sure they had spelled my first and last names correctly... but I was one of the early callers before they got annoyed. They assured me that the man who was "working on it" would e-mail me back when it was "taken care of." I'm still waiting...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Ron Paul is truly a man of the people and he exposes the Neo Cons in that speech.
- blapierre, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12It is insulting to hear the media talking about who was the most "handsome" on stage in their analysis of the debate. I do not care what the person looks like. I care what their plan is for our country. It is also insulting to me to hear the "top-tier" candidates spew empty rhetoric and never talk about the real issues facing our country and never tell us what they will do and what they have done to fix the serious problems our country is facing. There are only two candidates so far that I have heard that have talked about the issues and spared us of empty ***** rhetoric, and they are Ron Paul and Mike Gravel.
- jeanette3654, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Already doin' it. Make sure you contribute what you can to him and we really need to pressure the Republican National Committee to nominate him! I'm not real sure that all works because Dr. Paul is the FIRST presidential candidate I'm going to vote for so I've never paid any attention to the "political process".
- dmightx, on 09/21/2008, -0/+10Anyone know a good bulliten I can help spread on sites like on myspace? Myspace spreads out things quickly.
Whether you like mypace or not it is a powerful tool for things like this. - jeanette3654, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8PCore, tell people to go to this site to research Dr. Paul's voting record for themselves, it will speak for itself.

- hagbard72, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8The powers that be won't let Paul be heard.
- VoteRonPaul, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Thomas Woods is excellent, you should check out more of his stuff. And of course Ron Paul is the man!
- bgee32, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate, in either party, that cares about us. The rest of them are total slime, bought and paid for by the elitists(NWO). So it should come as no surprise that the controlled media treats him with such disdain. But I believe this is going to backfire on the MSM, for many will FINALLY open their eyes and realize we have been conned. And when people realize that the MSM is no more than a charnelhouse of lies, a long overdue revolt will occur.
- edmond4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The Media Whores, individual Journalists who sell their souls to distort and lie cannot be denied.
Absolutely disgusting to see this media monopoly of the global elite work against true Americanism.
The secret combinations that have taken over the US Government and media were spoken of as long ago as 1965, when Dwight Eisenhower's Secretary of Agriculture, just 4 years after leaving public service left this bold, unbelievable testimony that too the media and history book writers ignore:

The iraq war, medicaid, social security -- a lot of issues -- depending on whether its the day of the debate or September 12th, 2001 - ElKabong61, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Amy Goodman of Democracy Now! had Ron Paul on her show 5 years ago. Now, that he's a threat to the Democratic candidates, she doesn't even bother to mention him or include him when discussing presidential candidates. (See 9/13/07 show.) NPR isn't much better. It's really getting hard to find alternative news sources that don't have their own biases!
