- RomanticStorm, on 12/23/2007, -0/+1It's nothing new. Examine the first seditious law-the Alien and Sedition Act. From that point on civil liberties have been gradually eroded; during the Civil War, the suspension of habeas corpus, The Palmer raids of the 1920's, EO 9066 in 1942, the McCarran Act of 1952, COINTELPRO from 1956-??? through the present 'mass evacuation' plans of FEMA in 1978 and REX 84 during the 1980's and the more recent SB 1959 . The govern-ment has become more draconian, particularly since the birth of the buzzword 'national security' in 1947. Since this is 'old news', what have people been doing since then to 'correct' previous wrongs? I know! Watch the Stupid Bowl yearly, play Looto (I didn't make a typo), pay socialized extortion (taxes upon everything) and more importantly, they think that they 'vote'. "If voting changed things, elites would have long ago abolished it". Complacency = Complicity. By the masses' own acts of omission, we'll all be 'evacuated' sooner or later. If anyone is familiar with Antonio Rosmini or Augusto Sandino, I recommend that they read them again.
