- sockpuppets, on 11/30/2007, -3/+80It's right here:
http://www.digg.com/logout - stealthc, on 11/30/2007, -6/+82This article is so very true. I have asked before and I will ask again: If there were a popular revolution brewing, which the media refused to cover, what would it look like?
I submit it would look like the CNN/YouTube debate two nights ago. Supporters 5,000 strong, with aircraft and boats circling the debate building, a throng who had early that same month infused his campaign with one of the biggest fund raising days in history, completely ignored by the information gatekeepers. Make no mistake, despite their glimmers of honesty, those gatekeepers of media, of medicine, of energy and food have declared war on America. So far, and most recently through Ron Paul, we have fought back peacefully. God help us when that option is taken away. - inactive, on 11/30/2007, -6/+63Ron Paul is a start. Citizens enacting change in their lives is the real solution. Like the article states, grow a garden; then share the food with your neighbors. Better yet, help them plant their own. Create a sense of community between yourself and others. Start having street parties again, BBQ food and invite everyone. Share ideas, books, don't be afraid of what other people have to give in return. This nation is so far off track when it comes to politics, but that doesn't need to be the case in our communities. For the sake of man kind, Fight For Each Other and our right to prosperity and happiness; here and around the world!
- Boggie08, on 11/30/2007, -7/+42Please donate today, November the 30th. Ron Paul has already received over $290000 today. Maybe we can get $1 million!
- marksmayo, on 11/30/2007, -9/+43or you could, you know, just ignore them if you're not interested? Categories, searchable web, so many methods, so many choices. I know I don't care about sports articles on digg - I get my sports news elsewhere, but that doesn't mean I have to wade through them, or comment on them, for that matter :)
- DontGiveADamn, on 11/30/2007, -7/+35Meanwhile the majority of Americans have never heard of Ron Paul and they changed the channel to watch the latest news about Britney and Lindsay.
- SeanSutherland1, on 11/30/2007, -7/+35The founding fathers I guess were terrorists too, huh.
- maz2331, on 11/30/2007, -4/+32Or maybe just not hang around the 2008 Elections section?
- ieataquacrayons, on 11/30/2007, -6/+32Cue in: Rage Against the Machine - Take the Power Back
- MrEddy, on 11/30/2007, -1/+26All we need to do is get America to question things again. As it is nobody questions what they are told. If the MSM says something they believe it.
I discovered this very recently actually. It is the difference between Ron Paul supporters and many others IMO. Ron Paul supporters do not take what they are told and just blindly accept it as true. They search and find out the truth for themselves. I have been this way my whole live. I rarely take what someone tells me as truth until I find out for myself. I just assumed that other people do this as well... But apparently they do not.
My family, they question nothing. They listen to the news and take what they hear as gospel. My mom heard from her doctor in the 60's that cooking with salt was very bad and lead to health problems. To this day she doesn't cook with salt. Never once in over 40 years did she question what she was told, she just accepted it as true.
We don't need to push Ron Pauls message, we don't need to push any message. All we need to do is get America to start questioning what they are told and find out for themselves. We live in the information age, everything you want to know is available to you if you just go look for it. If America would just question what they are told and find out for themselves, I think they would all wind up in the Ron Paul camp. Or at least a great deal of them would. - GovernmentSp00k, on 11/30/2007, -12/+35Why is Ron Paul spam? There are plenty of daily submissions about the other presidential candidates as well. Too bad life doesn't have a bury button.
- SiNN4R, on 11/30/2007, -12/+35Ron Paul the only candidate who stands for peace.
- Boggie08, on 11/30/2007, -2/+23What people keep calling us terrorists? I only heard Glenn Beck.
- inactive, on 11/30/2007, -11/+29Ron Paul is my hero
I would be willing to get tasered so that he wins
well if Giuliani officials told me that Giuliani will quit the race I would be willing to get tortured that is how much I love Ron Paul - lydecker, on 11/30/2007, -2/+20Don't be silly. Vote for a candidate not based on who supports them, but what that candidate supports.
- AxeSwinger, on 11/30/2007, -3/+20What about Kucinich? He is just as much against this war as Paul.
- stephbangm, on 11/30/2007, -2/+18If the majority of Ron Paul supporters actually vote in the Primaries, we would most likely win. Even if only 5-8% of the public support Ron Paul like the official polls say, only about 5-10% of the population vote in the Republican Primary! That's why it's critical that we have to work hard right now. Just a few people could make or break this election!
. - djbon2112, on 11/30/2007, -4/+19The Founding Fathers were terrorists, to the British. "Terrorism" is in the eye of the beholder.
- MattB123, on 11/30/2007, -1/+15Insurgents
- feckineejit, on 11/30/2007, -0/+14yeah apparently if you reside in the US and care about the constitution, freedom, liberty, justice you are a terrorist.
- Bing11, on 11/30/2007, -1/+13Actually, the reason people LIKE Ron Paul is because he thinks the Government should have LESS control over our personal lives. That's why he wants to make controversial issues state-specific, get rid of Federal Income Tax (and thus localize issues, allowing the people to regain a voice) and eliminate the U.S.'s overspending on CIA and military occupations. Listen to his interviews!
- Frostman3D, on 11/30/2007, -2/+14Ron Paul gives me hope. No other candidate does that at all. They all offer the same old *****. An ineffective government, greedy selfish politicians that want to rule us, instead of work for us.
I think if Ron Paul is NOT elected, THERE WILL BE A REVOLUTION EVENTUALLY! Our country has been hijacked by a few that consider themselves ELITE, and "legal or not" IT'S OUR DUTY TO RESTORE CONSTITUTIONAL LAW! It's time to fire them all and hold NEW elections where the 11 corporations that own the media in this country are not involved. - stephbangm, on 11/30/2007, -3/+14We have to become delegates to get Ron Paul the GOP nomination; As delegates, we'll be picking the GOP nominee just like the electors in the electoral college pick the President; Delegates determine and decide who the GOP nominee is—it's that critical!
Become a Delegate or Ron Paul will NOT be President

... - miken32, on 11/30/2007, -7/+16Awakened, Americans will post indignant blog entries and continue voting in online polls.
- inactive, on 11/30/2007, -2/+11Why do people bury things that do not interest them? Why not just ignore it? I do not make a habit of burying everything that does not interest me, I would be roving through the site for a few decades if it were the case. There is only a handful of legit reasons to bury an article, and your reason is not one of them. Something tells me you buried it not because you don't care about it, but because your support is elsewhere.
- SeethisPass, on 11/30/2007, -3/+12The members of "club greed" are on notice.
- Tangeuray, on 11/30/2007, -2/+10When States have the Power to make the "Laws" people will tend to live in favorable states. Local Gov't's will rely on people being satisfied therefore its in their best Intrest to server the PEOPLE! When you pass federal laws like "Abortion" or "War on Drugs" there is no safe sanctuary and UNREST IS INEVITABLE. This was the Brilliance behind OUR Constitution. In fact our Constitution 1 FLAW.....The Slaves could not "Relocate"...we fought a war on that 1.
I support the Champion of the Constitution Ron Paul

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8S8N2OG7sU&feature ... - n8glenn, on 11/30/2007, -1/+9Thankfully, even if there was, you could not prevent Ron Paul's message from getting out. Digg is not your personal sandbox, it's actually for all of us, and information is not to be suppressed, it is to be shared. The more you tell americans who love their freedom to shut up, the more they will speak out. Ideas, even bad ideas, flourish when you try to suppress them. If you want to protect yourself from information, then that's fine, hit your scroll bar and keep reading stories about the iphone, but you can't, and WON'T, make that decision for the rest of us!
- inactive, on 11/30/2007, -1/+9The government will have to kill a hell of a lot of Americans- myself included.
- knomevol, on 11/30/2007, -1/+9not sockpuppets' fault you fell for it.
- mjrjr, on 11/30/2007, -2/+10It is a great day in our history to hear the citizens of this country call for a second revolution...make your voice heard...make your feelings known....take back our great country from people who think life is cheap, and the lower class(s) are expendable.
- Bing11, on 11/30/2007, -2/+10I actually had the same exact stance you did, until I realized he wanted to get rid of Nation-wide education but wanted to use the money that was being wasted on things like No Child Left Behind and instead let the states and teachers spend it as they see fit.
He doesn't want less education -- he wants MORE -- just not controlled at the federal level. Check Education on www.ronpaul2008.com for his exact stance. - SymbolicChaos, on 11/30/2007, -1/+9Sweet jesus, thank you for saying that. Does no one else understand this argument? All your religious, political, and moral views aside, the world is not black and white, ladies and gentlemen. It is not "us vs. them". It is "we all work together or we either die out as a species or let those in power, whose lives are no more greater or lesser than our own, take advantage of our collective ignorance and laziness for the rest of eternity"...."which considering the first option as a possibilty, could be the day after tomorrow".
- cjays1, on 11/30/2007, -2/+9The Department of Education wasn't formed until 1980. We weren't a great industrial nation before then?
- objectcode, on 11/30/2007, -3/+10damn loons, don't they know the constitution is meant to be used as toilet paper?
- wgadget, on 11/30/2007, -1/+8A few minutes ago I learned that the Georgia Right to Life is endorsing HUCKABEE, because of his pro-life positions. I began to think that they are a single-issue organization, choosing who to endorse based on their narrow-minded single-issue. If these places would stand back and look at the whole picture and see what has happened to our great nation, they would have to endorse Ron Paul.
I will be making huge signs which say "TAKE BACK AMERICA" for all the traffic to see. This is the REAL meaning of the Ron Paul Revolution. What a coincidence to see the same exact phrase used in your title! True, so true.... - objectcode, on 11/30/2007, -4/+11it would seem that people feel the same about you seeing as you are being buried
- Bing11, on 11/30/2007, -1/+8You're not a supporter if you're trying to quell the revolution just because your "sick" of seeing an article twice.
- briansearles, on 11/30/2007, -6/+13You can always just kill yourself to end it all.
- inactive, on 11/30/2007, -3/+10why not ron paul?
- true2003, on 11/30/2007, -0/+6I'm sorry to break it to you but America can't rescue the world from evil.
- n8glenn, on 11/30/2007, -1/+7The second two points are part of Ron Paul's platform, and he is a doctor, whereas Kucinich is not, so I think I would be willing to give him a chance with his health care system, especially since he would fix the root of our financial problems and give us our money back. Ron Paul's system would result in more money for workers and much, much cheaper health care for everybody, plus a stable dollar that does not lose it's value. Are you seriously telling me that Kucinich's proposals are better than that? Sorry but I don't believe you.
- argoff, on 11/30/2007, -2/+8Well, if push ever comes to shove, it is becomming obvious now that first priority should not be government targets - but their mouthpiece, the mainstream media. At the very leat, taking them out would force people to get their news and information from the internet .... breaking and bypassing the system of control.
- CrazedLeper, on 11/30/2007, -1/+7Fighting back peacefully has achived zero success. Attempting to beat them at their game (viloence) will be even less successful. The US must now pay the price for choosing to be ruled by evil liars--plus tax and shipping.
- cmapes2, on 11/30/2007, -0/+6Yep, I donated as well. I consider what he has received today as a great acheivement considering not too many people knew there was a money bomb today. Also a lot of people are still holding out for the tea party.
- zapperdude60, on 11/30/2007, -1/+6you've already lost
- JPOOPOO, on 11/30/2007, -0/+5You might have trouble understanding Ron Paul's voting record because you clearly don't understand that some issues are best left for individual states to decide instead of leaving the decision up to the federal gov't. The logic behind this is that what may work the best for one state may not work for the other. This is also what makes the USA so great: because if you do not agree with your state's laws you can simply move to another state. This is much more effective than pushing one belief system on such a diverse nation.
- inactive, on 11/30/2007, -1/+6Kucinich wants Ron Paul to be his running mate....that's what he said in NH
I say Paul/Kucinich not Kucinich/Paul
but if we are faced with warmonger Hillary I would take Kucinich/Paul Against The Machine Unity Ticket! - chris7878, on 11/30/2007, -0/+5Mirror http://209.208.100.249/index.aspx?UL=http://www.op ...
