- professorai, on 03/16/2008, -12/+125surrender hillary. you didn't win texas and rush helped you win ohio. Bush destroyed the country by stubbornly pushing a $3T ego war. You will destroy the party by your gollum-like monstrous ego-grasping for your lost ring of power.
- cglobek, on 03/16/2008, -9/+96Hillary won't reveal her earmarks. She won't release her taxes. The official first-lady documents of her days in the White House remain unavailable. Does anybody recognize this pattern? For that matter does anyone NOT recognize this pattern? Remind you of anyone you know currently in office? For that matter Biil won't tell us who the donors are for his library. I would give them both a pass if she would only tell us what specific experience qualifies her to promote her foreign policy credentials as dispositive.
Eager for answers
cglobek - argaen21, on 03/16/2008, -9/+84Hillary has no numbers to back up anything. She can only keep making up her owns rules for election as she goes. Last week it was seat the FLA and MI delegates as is. This week its I'm the only candidate who can win because I've won "big states". Next week it will be some other ***** reason because she knows she will never have the numbers. Its all about dragging it out to the convention and stealing as many pledged and super delegates there as possible.
- winampman2, on 03/16/2008, -8/+44This picture sums up Hillary's campaign pretty nicely
http://news.yahoo.com/nphotos/Most-Emailed-Photos/ ... - rz8472, on 03/16/2008, -4/+32While I was always an Obama supporter, I still would have voted for Hillary in the general election, no-questions-asked, in the very beginning of the campaign where there were many other candidates and no need to go negative. But Hillary's penchant for secrecy and despicable campaign tactics, not to mention her refusal to identify anything wrong with her war vote on Iraq (all the other candidates had either never voted for it, or said later it was a big mistake at least) have convinced me otherwise.
Congratulations, Hillary. If John "100 Years in Iraq" McCain wins, I'll be laughing because you fully deserved your defeat by going to the DNC and stealing the primary away from Barack Obama (because, lets face it, the only way mathematically you can hope to win is to do that, because even despite your race-baiting, fear-mongering, and use of GOP talking points against your opponent, you're still can't win in the conventional sense). That's not to say that I will vote for McCain since I profoundly disagree with many of his issues, but I will say that John McCain has shown so far that he is a much more honorable campaigner who doesn't resort to your low tactics than you ever will be.
It's ironic that the Party of Rove might have someone more morally upstanding than the Party That is Victim to Rove.
Oh, and as for "ending the war" as you claim that you will do... why won't you set an end date when all the troops will be withdrawn? Your advisors even claim that voting for the Iraq resolution (and then the Kyl-Lieberman Amendment on Iran) shows that you have "national security credentials". I am very skeptical about your claims that you will do much of anything, as you still seem to believe that your original authorization vote was the right thing to do. - ToMZiLLA, on 03/16/2008, -8/+33Position in the race? She's in 2nd place out of 2. That's technically the worst position to be in.
- HCviolence, on 03/16/2008, -10/+35Dear Hilary:
your campaign has turned from a debacle to an embarrassment,
you can still turn things around by showing grace and responsibility by dropping out, you could show unity by lending your support to the strongest force against the republican disease. Your running out of time to quit ***** up.
sincerely
some guy - cheezintern, on 03/16/2008, -7/+28Dear Hillary, as an Upstate NY resident, you've done nothing for me thus far. Move to China.
- pintomp3, on 03/16/2008, -4/+23call her at 3am and she'll tell you.
- GhostyBoy, on 03/16/2008, -5/+24Please don't use words like ***** in regards to Hillary. What? No, not because it's sexist...because I actually *like* *****, and I don't want to associate them with some horrible pandering politician.
- WayneCA, on 03/16/2008, -6/+22Same reason she hasn't disclosed her taxes. It takes a long time to collect all those W2 forms from all the corporations she's taking money from. She'd love to disclose her earmarks, but it would just take too long to tabulate because there are so many.
- wlybrand2, on 03/16/2008, -8/+23She's finished
- roguewriter, on 03/16/2008, -7/+22I'm not sure it's her taxes that she's scared of revealing, but perhaps the money Bill's made from political consulting for Dubai and others might make people wonder what it will be like having a President that is married to a lobbyist. Who's political agenda would be in effect in the White House? Hillary's? Or, Bill's clients? But honestly, this woman comes across as genuine as a three dollar bill.
- dBass, on 03/16/2008, -3/+12"Its all about dragging it out to the convention and stealing as many pledged and super delegates there as possible." For Billary, it's also about making sure Obama doesn't win to keep HRC's 2012 pipe dream alive. Does it matter that they have to destroy an honorable, visionary man and the Democratic Party in the process?
- kettlehead, on 03/16/2008, -7/+15Newsflash: Jeremiah Wright and Barack Obama are DIFFERENT PEOPLE!
Scandalous, I know. - junkwheel, on 03/16/2008, -2/+9Hillary's spin at the convention will be no match for Obama turning up in a hummer with mounted lasers and: the majority of the popular vote, more delegates, more states won and more funds raised. All without talking *****, all without blowing his skills out of proportion, all without the aid of a powerful second name, all without the aid of a previous president who many liked, all without fear mongering, and all without hating on and spreading false rumors about a member of his own party.
Obama has run a dignified campaign powered by the people.
***** you Hillary. - iofthestorm, on 03/16/2008, -7/+14Actually, I think most people who supported Ron Paul joined digg after a certain point in time and drowned out the original Obama support, and then when RP started losing they left digg and now the Obama supporters are visible again.
- jlee2081, on 03/16/2008, -7/+13"We spent today back-and-forthing a few more times by e-mail with her press office, and the exchanges made it pretty clear that the oversight was intentional. The plan seems to be that since the NY press has never obsessed over Hillary's earmark requests, she can safely not release them as long as she doesn't say she won't and doesn't say why she won't."
- subsistenc3, on 03/16/2008, -1/+7troll troll is troll.
- MrHappy123, on 03/16/2008, -0/+6Judging on historical Digg Political Bias... Digg effect has FAILED to carry over into real life I am afraid. Internet fantasy is fun. Always is ... always will be.
- bjornski, on 03/16/2008, -4/+9Again, as I've mentioned a while ago, Hillary saying that being married to Bill gives her "presidential experience", is like Yoko Ono saying that being married to John made her a Beatle.
- kontraire, on 03/16/2008, -1/+6You're an idiot...in fact, congratulations, you're the dumbest sack of crap I've seen on Digg in a looong time.
- temsi, on 03/16/2008, -1/+6Well, seeing as the only way she can possibly get the nomination is by circumventing the will of the voters, and thereby subverting democracy, I certainly wouldn't want to give her my vote, nor would I expect anyone else to want to either.
The problem is, that would give us McCain, which is just 4 more years of Bush policies.
At that point, it's once again just a choice between a ***** and a turd, and the turd is dry so it's less likely to stain. But I'm sick and tired of having to hold my nose while voting.
For the first time in my lifetime (I'm old enough to run for President), there's a candidate I actually WANT to vote for.
I want to vote FOR Barack Obama, and not just AGAINST the other guy. - Vohu, on 03/16/2008, -1/+5If Barack Obama is not the DNC nominee, Ralph Nader is getting my vote. If he can't get on the ballet where I live, I'll write-in Darth Vader.
- bjornski, on 03/16/2008, -2/+6Hey, it's the original bongo. I can tell, because this one has over TEN THOUSAND COMMENTS. And NONE of them make any sense.
Hey bongo, you have someone copying your name and spreading more ***** and lies in your name.
Should you be offended, or flattered? The terr'ists are stealing your name! Oh noes!
Seriously. 10,400+ comments since August. And every one ignorant as hell. WTF? You must get paid for this *****. - slearwig, on 03/16/2008, -4/+8
I would give them both a pass if she would only tell us what specific experience qualifies her to promote her foreign policy credentials as dispositive.
You mean the part about the red phone at 3 A.M.? Maybe Bill let her in on classified information. Or, maybe Bill talks in his sleep. Either way, The First Lady does not have clearance for anything classified AFAIK. - inactive, on 03/16/2008, -0/+4Not at all dBass. They are not going to lose a minute of sleep.
- vette58, on 03/16/2008, -0/+4This time last year I actually had respect for Hillary, but watching her over the life of this campaign I'm sickened by her and her campaign tactics. With that said, I will disclose that I am a passionate Obama supporter. However, hostile comments like this have no place in the future of the Democratic Party. This is what Obama is all about... Bringing back respect, compassion, accountability, trust, transparency, and the American Dream (instead of a nightmare). If you want change vote Obama.
- bjornski, on 03/16/2008, -1/+5As I said in another post, the moron writing that blog makes WorldNutDaily look credible.
- Acewrap, on 03/16/2008, -3/+7Please don't feed the trolls.
- inactive, on 03/16/2008, -7/+11lol wut?
- tjmb9, on 03/16/2008, -2/+6The sad thing is that most of what that pastor said is completely reasonable. Stupid people are everywhere.
- rhabd0mancer, on 03/16/2008, -0/+3The Clintons are neck deep in Chinese money. They'll never open up their WH records.
- KnightWhoSaysNi, on 03/16/2008, -2/+5"you will never contribute even 1/1000000th as much to the world as Bill O'Reilly"
Considering the ***** that Bill O'Reilly contributes, that's a good thing. - LucasVB, on 03/16/2008, -3/+6I wasn't expecting it to be that good!
- ralph12c41, on 03/16/2008, -4/+7Stand by and watch the far left go nuts...what a wonderful sight. The Huffingtonpost has something new to hate. From Iraq to Hillary Clinton! What a transition. The surge must have worked!
- Lephtovermeet, on 03/16/2008, -32/+35Dear Hillary, you are a *****. Please go die.
~Me - bovox, on 03/16/2008, -5/+8Because she is damaging Obama's chances of winning the White House in November. The longer she stays in, the more she resorts to character assassination of Obama, and the more moderate/independents (key to winning in November) are pushed towards McCain. Hillary doesn't give a flying f*** for the Democratic Party or this country. She just cares about acquiring power.
- cephelo, on 03/16/2008, -2/+5Hillary is a neo-con dressed in a blue pantsuit.
Fixed that for you. - inactive, on 03/16/2008, -6/+8She's number two alright.
- PocchieTheMan, on 03/16/2008, -1/+3These are the same people that say Obama is Muslim, etc, etc. You just can't accept that for the first time there is someone who can make a difference. You're too cuddled up in the same old politics (that you hate, mind you) but that's ok, but it's reliable in its disappointment, in its corruption and disillusionment. This man is going to turn our country into what it needs and, I think, what it wants to be.
- SwordofKahless, on 03/16/2008, -1/+3Oh please, what is the difference other than Obama being a little more Maxist that Hillary. The best thing that could happen to this country is if you people had to write a check every week to pay federal/state/SSI taxes rather than having it out of site out of mind automatically deducted from your paycheck.
It is only then that we might realize true "change" since none of these major two party candidates or parties would even be a consideration to be debated on digg unless you are hard core communists or already live off the government. - bjornski, on 03/16/2008, -3/+5Yeah. Conservatives have been showing us how "good" they are for years now.
- andburn1, on 03/16/2008, -0/+2Which are you?
- Spoomeister, on 03/16/2008, -0/+2...so she can be closer to her donors?
- TheReport, on 03/16/2008, -2/+4well worded Tao, although I wouldn't go as far as to call Ron a prophet, but certainly a principled man that stands his ground regardless.
- Acewrap, on 03/16/2008, -4/+6Slash isn't a Hillary lover, he's a troll.
- Acewrap, on 03/16/2008, -2/+4Engrish spam.
