- nodonoug, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7The interesting thing I found with some of those jobs is that they're reluctant to hire someone overqualified b/c they don't want you to feel like you're underpaid (I tried to take some time off from school to work in construction). If you feel like you're being underpaid, the foreman is afraid that you won't work as hard as someone who knows they're not supposed to be here and just wants to get enough money to feed their wife and kids.
