As he says, Cons (Neo- and Paleo-) believe that FDR betrayed America and Europe by handing a big chunk of Europe over to Stalin at Yalta. (As opposed to-- What? Turning right around and fighting them with a WWII weary military)?

    To go from that to Afghanistan is some serious canyon leaping there. Let's just ignore 35 years of history of the region.
