- Spectre74, on 01/11/2008, -21/+981Yes. Because this was the best rebuttal in my opinion. I missed this in the original air and thought he may have slightly lost the debate for a few (irrelevant in the big picture) reasons. After seeing this I thought he owned them all. This proves their agenda because that is the effect it will have on a great number of people IMHO. The ding ding from the bell almost sounded like "shhhhh... shut up your revealing our lie" to me.
- jimbabb, on 01/11/2008, -20/+615The pitcher aimed at his head and he still knocked it out of the park.
This is war against every Fox advertiser! - chupavacas, on 01/11/2008, -17/+585Wow that was great. Truth hurts. The neocons up there must have been stinging.
- Plasmatica, on 01/11/2008, -13/+487If words could penetrate ass, Ron Paul just sodomized all of them.
- Pebcak, on 01/11/2008, -7/+371Yes, it was in the debate, because the debate was live. When they reran it afterward this part was missing.
- Groovemaster, on 01/11/2008, -28/+339Maybe a few years after the mainstream media guides Obama or Clinton into office, the USA will collectively look back on the time when they had a chance to elect someone who was primarily concerned with the welfare of the average American, instead of the abundance of corporate profits for the military-industrial complex.
Maybe they'll finally learn that prevention is better than cure, especially when there's no longer a cure available. - d03boy, on 01/11/2008, -9/+290If someone hasn't seen this, they need to. This is the kind of crap Fox pulls on the average American every day and they have no clue. Ron Paul spun their dumb question and spit it in their face.
- neopolaris, on 01/11/2008, -7/+274What part of "cut from re-air" don't you understand?
Hell, wtf else don't you probably understand? - extratwice, on 01/11/2008, -57/+315
Cyberdactyl
"The problem with this digg submission is an example of Ron Paul's problem. . or I should say his followers. This was NOT cut from the debate. I and EVERYONE else who watched saw this part. This could have been a good submission, by blatantly lying is not gonna help Paul."
From title: "cut from re-air".
Well, at least no one will accuse us Ron Paul supporters of not being able to read. - swancher, on 01/11/2008, -3/+257Watching the republican debates, I've found it remarkably disgusting how anytime Ron Paul speaks, he's immediately talked over, the candidates sneer, the audience laughs, and the moderators make fun of him. Even in this clip, Paul is making a very valid argument, and we are subjected to a split screen of John McCain jeering at Paul. When the commentator asks Paul if he is "actually electable," there's no mistaking his mocking tone and hints of laughter. Then the audience took their turn laughing.
Even if you don't agree with the guy, at least treat him with some dignity and allow him to voice his stance on the issues — the Republican party as a whole has come to be defined as such an ignorant and vicious mob.
Ok, I'll put my soapbox away now... - NaziHatinChimp, on 01/11/2008, -7/+223Not a Ron Paul supporter but that is a good answer.
- Wugie, on 01/11/2008, -2/+191I may not agree with Paul on all his stances, but he is certainly a smart man
- bundwallah, on 01/11/2008, -4/+183Great answer. Ron Paul spam aside on Digg. This guy really has a good head on his shoulders. He took on that weasley question with a nice balance of class and indignation. The other guys in the room shouldn't even run for high school hall monitor because they cannot even behave professionally. Good on you Ron Paul!
- loggia, on 01/11/2008, -4/+174Fox News does not actually serve Republican values. It serves the values of a minority of rich elite who have taken over the Republican party.
Ron Paul scares the ***** out of them. He is a Republican that actually believes in a true conservative platform. They have no way to smear him or dismiss him.
So they simply censor him - and demonstrate more than anything else the absolute facade of their belief in democracy. - Look4Truth, on 01/11/2008, -12/+178Faux is a pathetic joke of a network. Their immorality and bias is so apparent that they're going to implode soon enough. The brain dead zombies have been brainwashed by them for a long time but one by one people are waking up to their scams.
- Ragecloak, on 01/11/2008, -10/+156You know what this means: MORE EMAILS!! Do NOT stand for their censorship!
- GeorgeClayton, on 01/11/2008, -4/+146I thought the moderator's "question" (statement) was exceedingly rude, a direct stab a Ron Paul trying to thwart votes. That was a most excellent rebuttal!
- Peter544, on 01/11/2008, -6/+147Referring to this *AND* the previous debate WITHOUT Ron Paul, it makes me think that if they (a media outlet) cut him out, the other candidates should, with the enforcement by the FCC, have to declare all the face time they got during the debate and follow-up replays as a DONATION equal to normal going per-minute rates by FOX NEWS (or whatever other media outlet).
Whey they start cherry-picking candidates they want to support, that's akin to a donation to their selected candidates' campaign.
Frankly, regardless of who this is that is affected, Ron Paul this time, or another republican, democrat in the future or what not,
THIS OUGHT TO BE jumped at by the FCC.
THIS ONGOING ***** GOES BEYOND RON PAUL - others in the future will be affected if we don't stop it now
IT IS VERY UN-AMERICAN
IT IS VERY DANGEROUS
CALL THE FCC TO COMPLAIN - diggit83, on 01/11/2008, -3/+141ya, for once Ron Paul sounded as pissed off as hes entitled to be after all the crap they put him through.
This made my day - deepdish, on 01/11/2008, -6/+138I am starting to trust Fox News (and maybe all news channels) less and less.
This is blatant. And yet no one in the general population really cares. - malakite33, on 01/11/2008, -10/+141You are a ***** idiot, It was cut from the rebroadcast of the debate. I saw it happen and that what the title says, jackass
- Nosnevets02, on 01/11/2008, -3/+127The laughing is unacceptable for a debate. Absolutely childish.
- stumbles047, on 01/11/2008, -6/+123RPWNED
- indyhouse, on 01/11/2008, -1/+117I can't recall a candidate ever being given such a biased treatment by the media. Paul is not some fringe guy with a lot of crazy ideas. As he has pointed out several times, the ideas the Republican party are trying to bury are the very same ideas they held just a mere 15 years ago. I have no idea what the heck is happening with the Republican party, it is not conservative any longer.
- Arcnite, on 01/11/2008, -9/+121cut from re-air?... that should be illegal.
- Stemnin, on 01/11/2008, -5/+117lol fox, must've edited out the "fair and balanced".
- zeejay, on 01/11/2008, -2/+111That rebuttal, unedited, should be his TV ad.
- lostangelonline, on 01/11/2008, -27/+131Ron Paul Rulez!! there is nothing you can say to this man to knock him down!
- fahrenheitlf, on 01/11/2008, -6/+106The problem with this user is his reading and comprehension skills.
- theblt, on 01/11/2008, -6/+102***** YOU CARL
What a total lack of respect for a man who has touched so many lives. As a conservative I do watch Fox News, but this was so disrespectful and unprofessional. - jguy584, on 01/12/2008, -0/+93Sorry to hijack but not surprisingly fox has claimed a copyright violation on the video.
Here's a re-post:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mffpkCH-PJw - LeeJunFan, on 01/11/2008, -9/+100If I had been there I would have been tazed when he asked him that question.
- arplayer2k, on 01/11/2008, -7/+96I don't think anything better could have been said. Great job Dr. Paul.
- inactive, on 01/11/2008, -7/+93This WAS cut from the re-broadcast. I watched the debate late and listened to every word while noting the advertisers. If I hadn't seen this video HERE, I wouldn't have heard this. Thanks so much for posting. Get'm Ron!
- offspring06, on 01/11/2008, -1/+86Fox News is throwing a lot of crap at Ron Paul. They must be threatened by him if they are picking on him this bad.
- Frostman3D, on 01/11/2008, -2/+86Was any other part cut out of the debate? I think we need to raise a stink about this.
- thorbergdt, on 01/11/2008, -2/+83It's so sad that the only real intellectual non-corrupt candidate is the one that the media dislikes and doesn't give time of day to... thus limiting his exposure and not giving him the fair shot the others get. go Ron Paul, way to stick it to that jacakss!
- bookon, on 01/11/2008, -21/+97I am not a Paul supporter. I would not vote for him. He is VERY right wing for my tastes. BUT He makes a lot of sense bashing the rest of these people. The republicans today are all about scaring us into voting for them so they can get richer. Paul at least wants to do what he thinks would be best for ALL of us. I think he is wrong, but like his motives. The coalition of 'Crazy Jesus People' and 'The Selfish and Greedy' is crumbling and not a moment too soon.
- janeuner, on 01/11/2008, -10/+84"not voting for him but I agree w/ everything RP said"
Baffling. - fuzibuni, on 01/12/2008, -0/+73FOX REMOVED IT!
the video has been taken down.
what an admission of guilt.
first they cut it from the re-broadcast, now they delete it from youtube.
what a bunch of criminals. - airiox, on 01/11/2008, -2/+72John McCain. He doesn't take his meds too often and spends the bulk of the debates laughing at what Paul has to say.
- L0cKe, on 05/09/2009, -9/+79It wasn't cut from the live debate. It was cut on the re-run.
- Hayaemsay, on 01/11/2008, -4/+72I'm curious as who the illiterate are voting for.
- MRintheKeys, on 01/11/2008, -9/+75There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
- toasty168, on 01/11/2008, -2/+66god i hate fox news. it's a makes a mockery of journalism. it's ridiculous when i can learn more truth from the john stewart show than from a purported legitimate news show.
- scootscr15, on 01/11/2008, -9/+73Nine
Eleven - slapded, on 01/11/2008, -4/+68he won their cell phone debate and I know a bunch of paul supporters who didnt vote
http://www.digg.com/politics/Ron_Paul_Wins_South_C ... - ashwinmudigonda, on 01/11/2008, -4/+68The key point here is that media does not control what it can edit out anymore. I mean a decade ago, we couldn't have found this segment but for some documentary maker with a mission. I think if we can bring down FOX it would be a significant gain for this country. That should be a candidate's pitch. Did you see that smug look on whoever that Foxcocksucker-moderator-was' face?
- jimithng23, on 01/11/2008, -1/+59i guess if you don't vote for Paul you can vote for either on of the immature, unprofessional "republican" candidates. good luck with that one. kiss your dollar and savings goodbye.
- my8bird, on 01/11/2008, -4/+61The guy was dick so he had it coming.
